I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with the YMCA. My husband had 2 brain bleeds in July 2024 and 2 brain surgeries. He has had to learn to eat, speak, and walk again. He is still on the road to recovery. DQ, who is the Wellness Coordinator, has done such a fabulous job working with my husband. He has worked extensively to help strengthen my husband's muscles. He has gone to the nursing facility as well as to our home. DQ is always punctual, courteous, friendly and professional. My husband and I were truly blessed by him, and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone as a personal trainer. DQ, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making a difference in our lives!

Wonderful facility, friendly team members

During the disaster, the kids didn’t get to go to aftercare only one day which would be Monday and I did not feel comfortable sending my child. Therefore she did not go. I paid two weeks for my child not to go there and I still had to pay it’s not fair. You should at least get some money back for the relief of the Hurricane, I’m sorry it’s just bad management

Been a member for the last 7 months and I’ve only been able to take a swim one time . They always have the pool lanes busy with swimming lessons and other swimming activities . So that makes it impossible to take a swim . Plant city ymca is far more organized they always have a side of the pool open for the non swimming lesson members always . Lakeland ymca get it together it’s not fair for me to be paying a membership if I can’t even access the pool . Make it to where you have a side of the pool open for the rest of the members who just want to go relax a day in the pool

I can’t say enough great things about the YMCA and their amazing aquatics team! I take my child every summer, and they always have the best time. The staff is incredibly friendly, caring, and always go out of their way to make sure we feel welcome. The way they treat everyone with such care and delight makes the experience truly special. I know my child is in great hands, and it’s why we’ll be coming back every summer. I will forever be a loyal member of the YMCA!
