Veronica, who works in the infant room, really helped me feel comfortable leaving him there. I get photos of my son happily playing and a log of his day is shared with me through the app. Fantastic daycare!

The owner (Ms. kim) is professional and responsive to your needs. My 3 year old loved attending here and talked about her teachers and what she did at school. Her writing improved while she was in, before I took her I had a hard time getting her to trace some of her letters and now she writes pretty well for a 3 year old. Even though my one year old wasn’t adjusting, which is ultimately why I quit my job and pulled my girls out, I don’t think it was any fault of the academy’s and when some time passes and I feel my baby’s separation anxiety has lessened, I would choose this daycare again out of all the others in the area. I do think she would have adjusted if I waited long enough, but it just wasn’t worth it for our family.

Does this day care work with autistic children?

Yes

Several reviews mention the presence of autistic children in the facility, with some reviews mentioning behavioral incidents.

Reviews:

Author: Danielle Ramos Rating: 1/5 Date: 10/19/2021, 9:57:44 PM Review: My son was sick and had vomited on himself. I was called but when I arrived my child was still covered in it and they put him to nap and didnt change him. My son also had a diaper rash from not being wiped properly. There were autistic children in his class who have behavioral issues, throwing chairs and constantly on the floor causing a scene. Scared my kid and he was afraid to go back. He never ate the food they served and neither did the other kids, they were throwing food away and the kids barely ate. I tried to make it work by packing lunches. My son was always sick and even caught RSV. Pulled him out and don't regret it.

Ladybird academy was wonderful until the Director was let go. She was such a kind and loving Director and you could really tell she cared about the children, staff , and how things were ran. After she left, the school went down hill. My 3 year old began to act out due to the frequent classes changes. The last class change was when they sent my toddler to a VPK class, before we were made to take our 3 year old out of the school because of his so called behavior. Not mention, no behavior plan was executed. Later on I found out that it was other toddlers in the VPK class that did not suppose to be there and would surely put them out of compliance if the state knew. My child is now thriving with no behavior issues since we are no longer there. A blessing in disguise. This is not a place for a child until they get things back in order. It was a definitely a mistake on their part for letting the previous director go. That new acting director rude, rude, rude.

My family and I have had an absolutely fantastic experience with Ladybird Academy. The Caterpillar and Ladybug classroom teachers are nothing short of phenomenal. Their dedication to creating a nurturing and engaging environment is evident in everything they do. Our child has blossomed under their care, and we can't thank them enough for their patience, creativity, and genuine love for teaching. The teachers in both classrooms go above and beyond to make learning fun and exciting. They provide a perfect balance of educational activities and playtime, ensuring that the children are always engaged and eager to learn. The individual attention they give to each student is truly remarkable, and it shows in the progress our child has made. We are so grateful to have found such an amazing place for our child to grow and learn. Ladybird Academy and the exceptional teachers in the Caterpillar and Ladybug classrooms have truly exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this wonderful school to any parent looking for a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for their child.

Ladybird academy has been a wonderful experience for the last year and a half until they fired the director in January. The acting director is rude, disrespectful , and just plain mean to the staff and parents. Her behavior has created a toxic environment leaving staff feeling overwhelmed and stressed leading to frequent callouts that is now reflecting in the care of our children. Parents are discussing leaving the facility in a group chat due to the growing disorganization and lack of leadership demonstrated. The negative impact on staff morale is now reflecting on the children, who are suffering as a result. Instead of stepping in to help, the acting director spend her time in the office, neglecting her responsibilities. It's truly disappointing that Ladybird headquarters has allowed this situation to unfold, bringing in someone who is mismanaging the facility and turning it upside down. One poor leadership choice is threatening to undo everything that made this place so special.

My two and six year old granddaughters love going to Ladybirds. The two year olds progress is amazing. She speaks in partial sentences, counts and knows her colors. Ladybirds greets them by name and she runs to her class. My six year old attended the summer program. They went on field trips, spent time outdoors and had group activities. She now attends the after school program which allows her time to play instead of burying her head in a tablet. All in all a great experience for them and peace of mind for me. Thanks to all the staff and Ms. Jasmin and Ms. Kelly.

As someone who deeply values transparency and quality childcare, I feel compelled to share my experience with Ladybird Academy. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Despite their promises and enticing curriculum, the reality falls short. Since the ownership change, there has been a notable decline in organization and adherence to promised standards. One of the most concerning issues is their consistent failure to maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios. This compromises the safety and individualized attention each child deserves. Additionally, the promised activities are often neglected, and staff have been known to misrepresent their implementation. Equally frustrating is the lack of responsiveness from the corporate office. Despite multiple attempts to address concerns, communication has been largely ignored, leaving me feeling unheard and unsupported. In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend Ladybird Academy. With numerous superior childcare options available in the area, I urge prospective parents to explore alternatives that prioritize accountability, professionalism, and the well-being of children.

This is a great daycare, but recent holiday closures weren’t communicated well at all. A closure needs publicized well in advance.
