Mari is an absolute gem of an human being and one of my son’s favorites. He smiles every time he sees her. The safety and piece of mind I have leaving my son here is unrivaled.

Loved that we were able to check on our kids via live cameras, Ms. Johanna was always very quick with responding and willing to discuss any questions or concerns, along with Ms. Terri! Also we loved that there was always events/themes for the kids. We only took our daughter out because we moved but we would send her back in a heartbeat. During the enrollment process I had to constantly follow up to receive information. They could not find the updated curriculum or provide me a list of needed materials in a timely manner before my child’s first day, but were fast to bill the first 2 weeks. Communication needs to be improved. I’ve yet to receive confirmation or response of my withdrawal request email sent back on 7/20/23. Pros: For an extra fee you’ll get access to the Watch Me Grow App which I highly recommend. As a work from home parent I was able to see my child in a live feed. Cons: The watch me grow cameras do not cover the entire classroom, there’s blind spots. The changing area is covered understandably so. The quality of the video needs improvement. And, I witnessed a staff member repeatedly being too rough with the kids. I felt on call to retrieve my child. A parent should not feel this way. If you don’t like kids, don’t be a teacher/caretaker.. Our ultimate dealbreaker to withdraw our child was the way a bite incident was handled. To date, no one has reached out to ask how my child is recovering. This tells me they simply do not care. The day of the incident I received a call stating that my child was OK, but another kid bit him in the face. What were staff members doing when this occurred? The teacher said I’m sorry and put in the report they make you sign something along the lines of “we’ll watch the kids better”. Ok, how? The director told me that she could not promise this would not happen again because this is normal kid‘s behavior. I was not reassured that an action plan would be considered to avoid incidents like this to reoccur. Example: We’ll review the feed to investigate what happened to retrain our staff. Or, we will meet with the parent of the aggressor to provide feedback/support to ensure everything is OK in their household, and to ensure the safety of the other children while in attendance. And/or review our teacher to student ratio, etc. Instead, I was told I was on time to withdraw my child so I wouldn’t get charged the upcoming week. I wonder if they would act the same way if it were their children. We had high hopes for this facility, and while we understand accidents happen it’s how they are handled that make a difference; maybe we would‘ve given them another opportunity. During the withdrawal process, the front desk staff seemed lost on how to complete my request and could not find the paperwork I needed to sign. I had to return to work when my son was 6 weeks old and I’m not going to lie I was a mess but they assured me he was in good hands and I knew I could always check on him on the cameras. On top of that they also send me photos of what he does class activities. As a first time mom that doesn’t have any friends with kids they have taught me things I didn’t even think about looking into or help me transition into his next stages of life. I was so excited to watch my son grow up in this facility but unfortunately I am being relocated to Texas. I wish I could take this location with me because they have definitely exceeded my expectations of what child care is. Thank you Ladybird Rock Spring for loving my kid as much as I do. If I ever comeback to the Orlando area no matter where I live I will bring my little man back to you guys! ----- Author: Jennifer Vaello Rating: 5/5 Date: 4/15/2023, 12:38:48 AM Review: This school is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Sadly today was my daughter's last day but ket me explain and provide some feedback on our experience. To start, I was terrified to put my 2 year daughter in ANY school..after careful consideration, we finally toured..mind you, the school is 45 minutes from our home and work place. Long story short, my husband and I drove a good 3 and 1/2 hours daily to and from this school between drop off and pick up..way too much in tolls and gas (I won't bore you with the details)..but the drive time alone should tell you just how much we loved this school. The cameras they provide to be able to check in on your child provides such a great sense of relief, especially for nervous moms and dads. All of the staff that I encountered on a daily basis were wonderful. Just to name a few, Ms. Jaida, Ms. Bri, Ms. Nadine, Ms. Yahaira, Ms. Terri, Ms. Linda, Ms. Joanna and Ms. Ari (who actually is no longer at lady bird but definitely missed) are absolutely amazing people. They each truly loved my daughter and my husband and I could tell that she was cared for. Ms. Bri and Ms. Nadine were my daughters teachers and they built such a connection with her that she talked about them daily. Between the structured curriculum to the free play, I was impressed by how much my daughter was learning. Ms. Bri has the biggest smile and an energy about her that the children and parents absolutely adore. These ladies that I have mentioned along with all of the other teachers (men and women) including the bus driver make this place a true gem. The only reason we unenrolled my daughter today was because after almost a year of making this drive and spending so much time, gas and tolls, we had to throw in the towel. Another school that was 12 minutes away offered us a spot..so we had to make the very difficult decision and switch schools. It breaks my heart because my daughter has such a close bond with her teachers and classmates but we had to make the switch. To any parent that is considering Ladybird at Rocksprings, I highly recommend them. To all of the ladies and gentlemen that work at this school, we will miss you very much. 🤗🥰 Keep up the great job.
