Made the switch to Ladybird Lake Mary and super happy with our decision. Ms. Lori and all of the team at this location are great. My daughter’s day is organized and I’m filled in on every detail.

My children (4 & 5) have had to go to a few daycares due to moving and also my son requires extra attention. Ladybird has been wonderful and both kids are thriving. I find the atmosphere to be positive and the communication to be top-notch. I am especially impressed by the front desk and administrative team including Sarah. My kids are now moving on to public school nearby and it's sad as we FINALLY found a great fit for our family. They don't stress you out with all these extra things but they also have great structure. Thank you Ladybird for the incredible care you've given my kids.

We could not love Ladybird Academy of Lake Mary any more than we already do. We moved our 4 year old son solely to follow the director Sarah when she took the director position there. She truly cares about her students and teachers and it shows. She treats everyone like family and goes out of her way to make sure her students and parents are happy. On top of that, my sons teachers in Ladybugs, Ms Maria and Ms Canniya are the most amazing teachers he’s had. I’ve never seen two daycare teachers that genuinely enjoy their students like they do. They are always engaging, excited, and sweet to their kiddos. They talk to them with kindness and respect and I am so grateful that my son gets to spend his week with these wonderful ladies.

My son had a deeply negative experience with this school, and the lasting impact has been heartbreaking. Even months after he stopped attending Ladybird, he continues to have an extremely adverse reaction when reminded of the school. Recently, a family member visiting us, unaware that he no longer attended Ladybird, mistakenly drove him into the parking lot. The moment he recognized where they were, he had a full meltdown, screaming repeatedly, “No Ladybird, no Ladybird.” She called me in a panic, and I had to help calm him down and redirect them to his current school. It was alarming to see how strongly he reacted—this does not happen in any other situation or location. He has absolutely no problems with his new school and seems much happier there. My son isn’t able to fully verbalize his experience, but whatever happened at Ladybird left a lasting scar. The emotional reaction he has speaks volumes. I could share more details about specific issues I was aware of during his time at the school, but I feel the point is clear. This environment did not prove to be a safe, supportive, or positive place for my child. As a parent, it has been deeply upsetting to see the emotional toll this school has taken on him. If you’re considering Ladybird, I encourage you to carefully evaluate how the school interacts with and supports children, particularly those who may need extra care or attention. This was not the right environment for my son, and I hope no other child has to go through what he has experienced.

My wife and I love this daycare! Their director Sarah along with all the teachers have always been great to our kids and us. Outside of the well stocked/designed classrooms there are ample playground areas, a little mock grocery store room, dinosaur room, etc. The app they use allows parents to monitor their children via camera at all times. Great place!

All around great academy for the kids, the baby room is immaculate! The director Sarah is amazing with our kids and us. She is a great problem solver and can’t keep our kids away from her.

I feel compelled to share my experience, particularly for families with infants, as my time at this daycare was deeply troubling. I strongly advise against enrolling your children here, based on what I witnessed during my one-month experience in November 2024. From the moment I enrolled my babies, the initial tour gave the impression of a welcoming, clean environment, but the reality was far from this. In the infant room, my child contracted RSV within the first three days of attending. This was confirmed by staff, who mentioned that three other babies had the same illness that month, yet no action was taken to address the situation or even notify parents. This lack of communication and care was concerning, to say the least. Additionally, my child was injured in the head by one of the teachers, and I was told, "It’s daycare, what do you expect? This happens all the time." To make matters worse, the diaper rashes were consistently left untreated or improperly addressed. On multiple occasions, I found my baby with BM on still, which is unacceptable. In the two-year-old room, there was a concerning lack of attention and care for the children. I regularly witnessed my child crying alone in a corner for extended periods, sometimes over 5 minutes, while the teacher remained inactive. The hallway consistently smelled like urine, and it was clear that cleaning was either inadequate or nonexistent. My children were unable to stay for a full week without becoming sick again and again, and I had to take them to the ER multiple times. I have documented evidence of these issues. Furthermore, if you're hoping to co-parent smoothly, I strongly advise against it. They made assumptions about family dynamics, contacted only one parent without attempting to reach the other, and then claimed they didn't have the other parent's contact information, despite it being listed on the registration forms. This experience has caused significant stress and concern for the safety and well-being of my children. I cannot in good conscience recommend this daycare, especially for families with infants. It is not a safe or supportive environment for your little ones, and I would urge you to explore other options for peace of mind.

I have nothing but great things to say about Ladybird Lake Mary. Mrs.Sarah is beyond amazing. She has aloud me the privilege of knowing my child is in great hands and is cared for. She is very personable and knows ALL kids by name! My son is in the caterpillars class room and is THRIVING! Ms Jade and Cynthia both have been a comfort to my momma heart, and truly care about my child and all others in the class. I cannot thank them enough for all they do. I would HIGHLY recommend this location if you are looking for a great place full of love, education, and care for your child.

Amazing school!! Great teachers and director!! My kids love their teachers so much!! The curriculum is amazing as well and my kids are learning so much everyday!!

Ladybird Academy has been a fantastic experience for us. From the moment we enrolled, the staff has been incredibly supportive and attentive, helping my son through what could have been a very challenging transition. Their approach to making children feel welcome and secure is outstanding. The director at the Lake Mar location, Sarah Gembecki, is truly exceptional—her leadership and dedication shine through in every aspect of the academy. All of my son's teachers have been wonderful, but I want to especially highlight Ms. Jade in the Caterpillars classroom. She has been an absolute blessing. Her ability to connect with my son, make him feel comfortable, and even excited about coming to school every day is remarkable. We are so grateful for the positive impact Ladybird has had on our son’s growth and happiness. I would highly recommend this Academy to any family looking for a nurturing, professional, and caring environment for their little ones.
