I’m taking the time to review this location because I want parents to be warned. I moved to Deltona and so I had to move my son to La Petite in DeBary from Ladybird in Sanford (which was amazing and wish I never had to take him out of that place) La Petite was abusing and neglecting my son, locking him in bathroom for long periods of time, refusing to give him liquids, dragging him across the room by his shirt etc so less than 2 weeks later I pulled him out and put him in here, I put my son into this daycare right after he became potty trained because he turned 3 in August but because of the abuse issues regarding the bathroom at La Petite, he started having more accidents and being scared of the bathroom at schools, I explained to all the staff here at Ladybird DeBary. They promised me they would be patient and help, but they started putting him in a pull-up and not even taking him to the bathroom enough. I confronted them twice nicely and they promised it would stop. But the third time it happened, I picked him up at 6pm and he had the same outfit and underwear on I brought him in that day in with a pull-up underneath. And they hadn’t charted a bathroom break since before nap. His pull-up was super full of pee. I got extremely upset and protective of my child (obviously and justifiably) and spoke very harshly, even raising my voice to the front desk lady and said “You guys have to stop putting Pull-Ups on him! HE IS POTTY TRAINED! Im sick if this” and I left. Well I continued messaging regarding this neglect on the messenger feature so the director could see and address it, I asked to meet with her the next day, then someone on the app (who claimed to be the director) instead started lying about him not having clean underwear and other obvious lies regarding the issue and then proceeded to say “we are disenrolling your child” because of how I spoke with the staff lady, with ZERO notice, the next day was Friday and I had no one to watch my son to go to work. They then MAILED his multiple clean underwear, clothes (that they claimed he didn’t have LOL, and don’t forget the clean underwear he was wearing over his Pull-Up when I picked him up) and school supplies I had bought for him. It was RIDICULOUS clearly and they just wanted to get rid of a parent who was calling them out on neglecting a student which is AGAINST THE LAW. My son goes to a new daycare now and he has been going there for a month now. He has only had ONE pee accident the entire month. Just goes to show it was something wrong with staff and their impatience and attentiveness to him. I am SO glad my son is in a better place now that he loves and it’s about $75 cheaper a week so goes to show you that the bigger, pricier daycares are not always better! (Oh BTW, I’ve been asking Ladybird DeBary for a copy of all his enrollment paperwork including his physical and immunization waiver for the new daycare and they have still refused to give it all to me)
I called twice to confirm I could tour. Told them exactly when I'd be present. They still weren't ready for us. Quickly , we walked around the facility without a chance to go into any classroom or outdoor space. One room had no teacher present, and all the kids were watching an iPad while eating lunch. Furthermore, they were unable to provide a course curriculum, and the gentleman providing the tour couldn't answer any questions about policy or turnover. Lastly, they charge for everything $45 a week for Webcam access on top of weekly fee, registration, deposit, school supply fees, and only able to purchase uniform from them.

We love Ladybird! The director and staff are amazing. I feel so safe leaving my daughter there. We have been there for almost 3 years. The director has handled everything with class and fairness. Some of the teachers have become my daughter’s family. We have never had any issues with billing, as everything is done through an automated system. I highly recommend lady bird!!
YOUR GOING TO KICK MY SON OUT OF DAYCARE BECAUSE OF OF YOUR BILLING ERROR- July 1st to present is 14 WEEKS NOT 16, and you kick My Son out of daycare because the director wants to get loud and is wrong. I would highly question having my kids at this location!! We will seek legal counsel. I love Ladybird and the care they provide, the current director should NOT being in that position, very unprofessional wanted to get loud and raise your voice to dispute that it’s been 16 weeks from July 1, 2024 to present day when it’s been 14 and I’m being billed incorrectly, very belittling and very, very unprofessional, and to think of all the precious angels she is in charge of and displays customer service and ethics of that regard, I really hope I can speak to the owners over this matter cause this is very disappointing. My experience with ladybird has been phenomenal. The director had been so accommodating & wonderful with my son. My son adores Mrs. Netta and is learning so much. Could not have a better experience, we love it here!
Ladybird Academy, you have never disappointed me! My oldest attended from grasshoppers (2yr old room) all the way through VPK, and every teacher left an impression on us we will cherish forever. Our twin boys started in grasshoppers like their sister, and their communication and attentiveness is spot on! I can really tell how much they care every time I drop them off and pick them up, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that. Thank you to all the teachers, (especially the ones who are still there to this day) and the director Ms Nancy for working so hard to supply a fun, enriching ,and safe environment for all our children.
The director is so amazing loving and caring to all the children treats them all as her own! Any questions comments or concerns she takes care of them right away. I’m so content with my children there!
I have had 3 of my 4 children attend Ladybird and have had an amazing experience! I love to hear about how my child’s day was, bring home cute projects (even with the infants), and just be met with such kindness from the teachers and staff! The director always greet me as I walk in and says goodbye when leaving!
