Excelente ! Tuve a mi hija ahí , y estoy muy agradecida con todo el equipo que labora en esa institución !desde la directora hasta las maestras.
I have nothing but amazing things to say about La Petite Academy. My son has been under their care since he was six months old and they have been so sweet, caring and responsible with him. I feel very at ease and happy I found them. They keep me updated throughout the day on their app, which makes me feel close to my baby even when we're not together, and they genuinely care about the kids' safety as well as celebrate their milestones.
One start because I liked a few teachers. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. My son who is currently experiencing delayed growth was horribly disenrolled from their program. Firstly the director gave the word by phone rather meeting with me but when I decided to meet with her and another manager regarding how it all made me feel she denied it being true. Being that my son can’t speak all that well and it frustrates him I did everything possible to get him evaluated which was taking place at the daycare unfortunately now I have to go through a longer process since he’s no longer attending. The director and manager further explained their reasons which was safety for him and others. I’m fair so I understood it was just the way it was done. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. At the end of our meeting the director begin to be condescending and making remarks as if because I mentioned my work life and school life being affected my son is not my priority mean while I’m here defending him. I mention he is my priority but she just started to speak over me.That’s when things with left. I told her she was being rude and left and she followed me still talking. She’s unwelcoming , she talks to you as if she’s scolding you and she’s unprofessional but when called out on it she has an excuse and reason for it all. Oh her only defense is documentation she always result to paperwork. I advise every parent to investigate before signing anything regarding your child’s behavior. It’s not because they care it’s to build a case for when they one day can call you and dismiss them.
I urge parents to please think twice before considering this daycare. ESPECIALLY if you children are not talking yet and can’t explain if something happened. Staff did a horrible job watching my son, he was sent home MULTIPLE times with unexplained scratches on him. They never had an explanation of what happened or even cared to figure out what happened to my son. 3/4 incidents I had to being the scratches to there attention. There go to Moto is “we will watch him better next time” only for the same thing to happen. The final straw was when I picked him up and he had two big scratches on his face. They finally decided to file out an incident report and basically told me he was fine before nap and woke up with the scratches. They claim to have cameras but when you ask them to watch the cameras to see what happened they lie and say they weren’t able to see anything. Do not send your children here they will be neglected and if an incident occurs they probably won’t tell you what happened smh.
LaPetite Preschool Academy on Mark Twain has a special place in my heart. My child originally was at Ladybird Lake Underhill and transferred to LaPetite a little after he turned 4 and it was the best decision I made. Dir. Taquesta & Assist. Dir Carol are the best. They are so good with parents, children and their staff. Although no daycare is perfect they bend backwards to support my child and all of their families there with any need there within reason. The building may be a little older than these modern daycares but they do have a warm family feel that is hard to come by. They appear to have a Montessori style environment where children explore through play and a very comprehensive program to enhance reading skills, math skills, life science, art, and so much more. Sure there were times of misunderstandings but working things out was never a concern. Lead teacher Ms. Claudia, Ms. Mayra, Ms. Jaimie, Ms. Bri and many others have been nothing but so attentive to my child. I feel so blessed my son is in a daycare family now where he is thriving and making many friends. Potential parents I can’t recommend LaPetite Mark Twain any higher than this. Please check them out!!!
Nice staff fun games lots of friends
