Author: Christiana Belle Rating: 5/5 Date: 7/15/2024, 9:09:15 PM Review: My husband and I have been taking our son here since he was 12 weeks old. We have watched him grow from infant class to twos 2. We have an understanding that there are more children than just ours to tend to and we appreciate that our son doesn’t get babied because he has learned independence. He was not walking before he got transferred into toddler 1 class, however he did learn how to walk and the awesome staff there helped him along the way. The kids are very well taken care of. As we bring our son in he is greeted by not only his old teachers with such excitement but his classmates as well! Any daycare you take your child to they are at risk of being bitten, falling and having a scrap or bruising. I cannot believe the complaints on here. There are cameras and I watch them very often while I am working. The teachers are always alert and handling the children very well every time I look. During breakfast, lunch and snack the kids are well fed, I even see the teachers giving out seconds! Just because you are not ready to see your child grow or allow them to gain independence, does not mean this program is wrong. Our now 2 year old when placed in twos 2 was given a cup to drink out of with no lid, no straw, nothing. His shirt got wet a few times however he was able to adapt and now does just fine with a cup. More than anything our son loves daycare. We never have to put up with a fuss to get him there, even when he has a class change he seems to adapt very well because of the routine in place. Anyone who says they don’t get paid enough, I don’t think anyone in the childcare field ANYWHERE could ever get paid enough. But they can be shown appreciation. This is a hard job and it takes a lot of passion to be able to do, how about coming on here and saying kind words. Issues don’t get resolved by posting nasty reviews in which are based off of an opinion. If this daycare isn’t your cup of tea find another one but don’t try scaring parents in search of childcare off from a daycare with lesson plans, a routine schedule, cameras, an app to notify you of your child’s meals, how much they ate, when they had a diaper change, when they took a nap when they wake up and more importantly when they get transferred to another class. In which yes they will sometimes spend time in another classroom because it’s the start of a transition, so they are not in shock when they get bumped up a class. If there is ever a concern or should you not check the app before going into the center to pick up your child you can always ask whoever is sitting at the front desk which class your child is in. Thank you all la petite staff for making my child feel comfortable and welcomed and helping him gain independence as he is the youngest in our household.

Veronica, Adriana, and Ana were by far the best employees and my son loved them. Being in this daycare, my son learned English and Spanish, how to count, sign language, how to do arts and crafts, and he became more confident in playing with other 2 year olds. Every afternoon upon pick up, my son always had a fresh and clean diaper on. Not a day was missed. The curriculum teaches them great essentials as my son learned how to hold a book correctly and flip through the pages as if he’s reading before he even turned 2. We moved to another city which resulted in me transferring. If I had the time and patience, I would have kept him in this location and drive the distance! ----- Author: sierra Rodriguez Rating: 1/5 Date: 8/14/2024, 9:09:14 PM Review: honestly, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a daycare. There’s no real curriculum for any age group. They’re always just doing whatever they want in the classrooms. Teachers are not fully bilingual in both languages most only understand and speak Spanish, so you have to go through other teachers in order for your teacher to understand what you’re trying to tell them. if your child does have any type of disability, they do not offer any type of accommodations Or trainings for the teachers. My son was constantly getting called out for either trying to touch other children or climbing on furniture. However, when you were to check the camera or walk in the classroom in the afternoon, all the kids are climbing on the table climbing in the sinks, throwing other kids to the floors. The teachers don’t even bothered to wipe the kids faces or noses at any point in the day. The Director always has a stink face, no matter what time it is. When you ask a question, everybody gives you the runaround. Nobody can give you a direct answer right then and there they always have to get back to you multiple days later. there was multiple instances where I picked up my son, and he had gone poop in his diaper, and it seemed as if he was sitting there for hours without being changed. Honestly, I felt like my son was very neglected at this daycare even though he may have a disability I asked before I even enrolled him. If that was OK they told me it was, his first week there he was already getting a notice sent home saying he has one more strike before he’s expelled from the daycare. It’s just a little crazy to me how they’re still in business honestly, I should’ve read the reviews before I enrolled my child here during the tour. they make it seem like everything’s all cool collected however, once you enroll your child, you find out that’s not the case!

My child loves this school. From the begining they have made her feel welcomed. The staff is great. Always with a smile on ther face. The cost is great. The food is nutritious and the snacks too. They open very early. My kid loves her teacher and friends.
This is an excellent academy. My kids have been raised at La Petite Academy and still attending. Awesome school.
This daycare has gone downhill since Francesca left. I’ve dropped my child off the VPK multiple times and there have been teachers yelling at students. I never know what classroom my child will be in at pick up or what teacher she will be with. Monday (11/27) at pick up there was a teacher holding a completely naked toddler on her hip outside at 5pm when it was 60ish degrees. No effort or rush to dress this child. Two other teachers stood there laughing about this poor girl. When I spoke with the director, Darlene, the next morning her tone was accusatory and she did not seem as concerned as she should’ve been. My nephew unfortunately goes to this facility as well. My brother in law has been stopped multiple times by teachers complaining they don’t make enough money working there. I’m not sure what Darlene is doing but her staff clearly isn’t happy with her as well. The facility always smells dirty as well. At no point have I walked in and thought ‘it smells freshly cleaned in here.’ As a parent, it is concerning the level of neglect going on at this facility. If you have other options, do not send your children here. I also elevated my complaints to the district manager, Kelly Aleknavich, who did not seem concerned about anything going on at this facility.
