La Petite Academy of Royal Palm Beach in Royal Palm Beach, Florida is a long-standing childcare facility that offers daily activities including arts and crafts, outdoor play, and early education programs. The center features modern amenities like camera monitoring systems that allow parents to check in on their children throughout the day, and uses a mobile app to communicate daily updates about meals and activities. While some families have praised certain staff members for their dedication and care, recent reviews suggest the facility has experienced significant turnover and varying levels of service quality over time.

ALWAYS watch the cameras...they tell the whole story. Any administration can tell you the things you want to hear but cameras don't lie. Security is a joke. Admin is rarely at the front desk. If you are lucky your teachers will be able to speak to your children. Ours unfortunately didn't know English. The children are lead around by their arms or pointed to where to go. Very short staffed. It's very sad when a 2 year old child who is brand new and is scared and crying for 20 minutes but gets no comfort or support from the teacher until you call. That was the last straw. You might want to ask them about cleaning and sanitizing as well. Don't let the pictures fool you, they are old. The school looks much different and very run down in person. Please take your kids somewhere else. They deserve so much better. ----- Author: Andrea Rating: 1/5 Date: 6/12/2024, 8:27:12 PM Review: I had high expectations since La Petite was recommended to me, but clearly, it has gone downhill. I like to leave positive reviews, but in this case, there are many areas where the school could improve. The best aspects were the camera access, which allowed me to see what was happening with my child throughout the day, and Ms. Keisha N., who was always pleasant and helpful to my family. During the tour, I was promised weekly lesson plans. I received them for the first few weeks, but then they stopped. Additionally, I would watch my child on the camera and notice that they barely touched their lunch. However, the Sprout About app reported that all the lunch was eaten. At pickup, I would have to hold my nose when walking past the restrooms because they smelled strongly of urine. Often, the soap dispensers would be out of soap, so children were not washing their hands properly. When parents are spending this kind of money, they expect a consistent and clean environment. We expect our children to thrive, learn new things, and be prepared for elementary school. When I would arrive to pick up my child, the teachers would yell to them, "Mom is here!" Where is the relationship building with parents? That is important to us too, and that is how we build trust! I know collecting school fees is important, and I know teachers should be honored and incentivized. However, I suggest more focus on the cleanliness of the center, preparing the children for grade school, ensuring teachers engage with parents, and learning plans are sent out consistently. ----- Author: Michelle Silvgi Rating: 5/5 Date: 12/1/2021, 3:15:03 PM Review: My 3 yr old has been enrolled since middle of August 2021 and I love it. She was in an in-home daycare before that with a few kids but she was becoming the oldest and wasn't learning to her potential. The adjustment was a little hard but quick. She absolutely loves it. They have outside play time arts and crafts singing and dancing. She knows her abcs and can count to 20 now. She has made a few good friends. The staff is awesome. Kind and hard working. Seems well organized and the bright wheel app is awesome to they post pics of my kid almost every other day and inform me all her activities throughout the day. Plus I love the cameras I can check on her any time. Now my nephew is starting Feb 1 I'm excited for him to start his new adventure as well. Ty to Lauren and Ariel always on their A game and Sabrina for taking care of my little one all day!

I was asked before by the current director of La Petite Academy to give her school a rating. Well today I'm going to give you the rating that you have well earned. My son has been going to this school since August 2024 (VPK Program). Yesterday January 15, 2025, I withdrew my son out of this school at 9:45 AM and I made sure they provided me with a written incident report. My son was hit in the face twice with a stick and bitten on the fingers by a student on Monday, January 13, 2025. Now this is the second incident. The first incident happened on December 20, 2024. My son was hit in the face and ended up getting a bruise on his face by the same student. I had to sign an incident report. I was told that the situation with the student who hit my son, that they were going to address the issue with the student parent. Well they had never reassure me regarding the situation. I had never gotten a follow up, letting me know that the situation was taken care of. I ended up contacting The Early Learning Coalition and Corporate to let them know regarding the situation because it is the same student that hurt my son and has also hurt another child in the beginning of the school year biting his face. I remembered seeing the child's face bleeding badly but I never knew it was the same child that has been hurting my own son until I spoke with his mother. The fact that the current director is still keeping the individual child who keeps biting and hitting the other childrens there is very shocking to me. Warning to all parents do not send your child to this school. It is not worth putting your child through pain and suffering. I removed my child because I wanted to make sure that he is kept safe and he was not safe at that location. This school used to be a very nice school because they had a better staff. I have two daughters that went to this school for VPK and not once did any of my girls experience being hit by another student or being bitten. The new director cannot effectively manage her facility and making sure her team of teachers are actively engaging and prioritizing in the students learning process.
As a teen, once child, who attended this daycare, it was hell. And I mean it. As someone who’s seen it from a child’s perspective this place was terrible. Many reviews are right about terrible cleaning quality and no comfort to children in need. Unfortunately once I reached the age of realizing how terrible it was I started to act and inform the other kids who later became my friends about what I realized. Yes, there was a time where this place was good and I wanted to attend there. When I would plead to my mom to bring me. But now, things have changed. Even now I have an experience I remember quite vividly. I was about 9 and I suddenly had a panic attack and I crawled into this box that had a pillow in it and cried. My friends came to my comfort but the person who was watching us, Mrs Peggy, did the opposite. She yelled at me to get out of the box and stop crying, making me cry more. vividly also remember a incident when she harmed my friend. my friend Keith was crying about something I can’t exactly remember now, but Mrs Peggy tried to forcefully drag him out of the room and ended up with him hitting the floor pretty hard. Also the playgrounds were at the time, unsafe. A kid named Gabe who picked on me broke his arm after one of the monkey bars broke off and he fell. By the time i was leaving soon, I always got home crying at end of the day. One of the daughters of the the preschool watcher had always picked on me and eventually I cracked and told them but it didn’t fix anything. I’m not sure if she’s still there so beware. By the time I was about to leave permanently all I had left was a few kids a bit younger than me who were loyal to me. I fear for them now that I’m not there to help them. I had good experiences with some of the watchers but once they left, it all went downhill. Do not send your child here
We love La Petite and the teachers. My son has been going there for over a year and he loves it. The teachers truly care about the kids which is so reassuring. We haven't had many issues but anytime we have voiced any concern to Ms. Quiesha or Ms. Tatum I do feel like they listen and look into it. We couldn't ask for better care for our son. Thank you to all of the stuff for truly loving what you do ❤️
My daughter Ava has been thriving at The Petite Academy preschool. The director, Queshia Nimcham, is incredibly personable and attentive. She takes a genuine interest in each child's development and works closely with parents. The preschool also offers a flexible schedule and very reasonable rates, which has been a huge help for our family. We're so grateful for the nurturing environment and excellent education Ava is receiving at The Petite Academy. Highly recommend!"
My son Loved his Teacher Mrs. Shameka and talks about her all the time. The staff was great and I appreciate the director Lauren she knows her stuff and is very helpful and informing....Hopefully he can get back in soon for after school care. Update!!!! Once the Director Lauren left this location the entire staff that was there with the exception of a few left as well. I pulled my youngest out some time ago because of the lack of professionalism & cleanliness, sadly this school has not been the same. The assistant director Queisha was helpful but I was just not willing to pay my money and see no change with the issues that were mentioned.

Please please please READ THIS and through the reviews. This school has bad management. Reviews don’t lie, look at the dates. Children with developmental milestones will silently be suppressed and the moment that that milestone catches up to them and they act out they will be kicked out. Call corporate and ask what happens if my child has a medical issue and acts out or if we are going through hard times in my child is affected and acts out. They will lie and say oh we have a system set up to work with them, but they don’t, they will literally tell you your child is bad. Seriously just call corporate with the scenario that your child had underlying health issues and you didn’t know it, and was put out of school for it, they will tell you it’s policy. They don’t care what you are going through. If you are sick if your child is sick. They will tell you it is policy. Please do not put your child here just because you need childcare. There are other places.. The Director literally hold grudges against children it’s terrible and then they will tell you, Oh well, it’s policy, with a shrug. It only takes a little bit of trauma to be trauma. Don’t put your children through it. Don’t Set your child up to be put down because of things they don’t have control over. The daycare is supposed to be a safe place. This one is like those nursing homes that don’t take care of your grandparents and you find that things keep happening to them and they don’t have answers but they have a policy and paperwork to tell you about. It’s truly, unfortunate. Heed the warning of the reviews. We are all parents and it’s, Terrible that they bet that you don’t or won’t be able to do anything about what they do to your child. You will literally have to suck up all your emotions and everything that you feel about how they treated your child, and it is a horrible feeling to not be able to defend your child who is just an innocent little person who is learning and growing in the world. Here is your heads-up. Prepare to let your child endure and you put your parental instincts and feelings, and anything else that comes with being parent protecting their child in your pocket. And when it happens to you, join the review club. I hope you don’t have to, but, people feel they need to live through it themselves or there is no way it could be this way. so I hope that you just save yourself the trouble, but, if not, I told you so is not a good feeling.
Every bad review I see they respond with “ we set a high standard… blah blah blah “ after someone mentioning bruises on their kid, I’m definitely looking somewhere else. I am not the parent to play cause I will lawyer up in a heartbeat. Do better because these are our babies we’re leaving with you ppl. My soon to be 4 year old will attend another school.
