I want to give a big thank you to Philisa for her kindness and willingness to think outside the box. She made the process of enrolling Liana so easy, and I truly appreciate the effort she put into helping us. However, for some reason, we decided to go a different route, but I still wanted to leave this review to acknowledge her professionalism and care. Thank you, Philisa!
Definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone to enroll their kids here. My son didn’t last a full day at this facility. I watched him on video, they didn’t feed him breakfast nor did they provide him with anything to drink. I watched the teacher move my son from where he was sitting and placed him at a table by himself from the other kids. When I went to address the issue, the director stated that it’s not her problem what happens in the classroom. I should address the situation with the teacher, very UNPROFESSIONAL (because if you are the director, then you should be the one correcting the situation with the teacher). The director was very rude when she spoke to my fiancé. I immediately unrolled my son, because with it being his first day I felt they should have at-least made him comfortable. I thought this was a good daycare, but I definitely thought wrong. I have a family member who enrolled all three of her kids, and she stated that the facility was good. But when her kids attended it was a different director, so maybe that’s the reason the daycare is no longer a good daycare.
This was the worst day cow they didn't take care of my brother and they took him out just cause hes being a little bad
My 1 year old had been in their toddler 1 room for 2 weeks (7 days actually). We dropped. I would say this is the first daycare we attend. AND THE WORST. My daughter was lying on the ground crying for half an hour on the second day. The teacher just walk across her again and again. NEVER comfort her or hold her. I know children would get sick when they go to dc, but dc itself should do what they should do to keep them healthy. During these 7 days, the teacher only get the toddlers wash their hands ONCE when a leadership member was in that room. Toddlers were NEVER offered water even we asked. Food are not good (not a big deal compared to other things). During these 7 days, Toddlers were involved in circle time ONLY ONCE by the same leadership member. Teachers seldom teach anything (play bubble and draw once guided by one teacher). The toddlers play by themselves or just be seated around the table doing nothing (it could be one hour). This dc could only keep your toddler alive. Don’t deserve anything else. I’m new to Pensacola. Hope other dc here are not like this.
I am agreeing with S Pitts and I am putting their business out there, because I listen to my child and there's no lying in him. My son accused a worker of wrong doing, I'll keep it basic. The school has done nothing, DCF who was contacted has done nothing. A therapist has basically confirmed what happened and my son actually made a physical drawing. The State is garbage, don't trust them! Attorneys? Haha, don't make me laugh, they act like they're trying to protect the school, but me, I will not stop to seek the truth and they sure have done things to the wrong child and parents. I found this person on FB and nothing but concerning posts and posting Tik Tok videos that you can clearly see she's posting and recording while they are working at the daycare. Do yourself a favor and get your child out of that garbage can fast! And then making accusations of things about my child's behavior. Take a look in the mirror and see who's doing what, because it sure isn't me.
Parents need to make sure that you are watching your child on the watch me grow app as much as possible. If your kid is telling you things are happening or suddenly doesn't want to go, there is a reason. Do not trust that everything ok. There are some great workers there but the bad ones are for some reason protected. And there is no talking with management. Gets an attitude and defensive each time something is questioned. Hmmmm??? I know why now. Just please pay attention and listen to your child, not the school.
Unfortunately there’s a long wait list for good daycares in Pensacola. I thought this was one of the best, but I was horribly mistaken. My child came home with scratches leaving many marks on his face every week at La Petite. They have a high teacher turnover rate and Unfortunately lacks supervision.
Scheduled an appointment and was sent a confirmation emailed that they had one spot available. They gave the spot away to a walkin!! They did not call me or anything. The assistant director was of no help and was so nonchalant about the situation. A definite no go to this place. If they called me now, I wouldn't have it. So unprofessional and uncaring.
Absolutely loved their vpk program. My daughter has learned and matured so much in this past year, and I can’t wait until my youngest daughter is old enough to attend! The director Ms. Philisa and my daughter’s teacher Ms. Stacy are the absolute best! You can tell that they love what they do!
The teachers drop like flies around this place. The turn over rate is so high but I can see why when the director is yelling at the staff in front of children and even parents! I was dropping my child off and heard her calling a teacher lazy...from the other side of the building! This place is about the money not my kid.
