Author: Kaitie L Rating: 1/5 Date: 8/14/2022, 2:14:48 PM Review: I’ve watched the cameras of the kids since some I knows kid goes here and they were showing me. Teachers put their hands on the kids aggressively. They dragged one kid around the classroom by her arm(I’d be shocked if it didn’t leave a mark). They ignore crying kids. No smiles. All of the teachers are angry all the time and aren’t playing with the kids. Don’t send your kid here unless you’re ok with your kid being in an abusive/careless situation.

I cannot speak highly enough of this school. My foster daughter went through 3 daycares before we arrived here and I wish we had come from day 1. The teachers truly love her and have shown an abundance of care and patience. Ms. Jackie and Ms. Patience are so loving with my daughter- every single teacher and staff member is warm and welcoming. The app is phenomenal- I love getting daily updates and having access to peek at the camera and check on her throughout the day. The teachers post their lesson plan each week and it is full of education! My foster daughter had grown so much in the short time there. Where other daycares have failed, this school has succeeded beyond measure. I could never thank you all enough!
La Petite in Palm Bay has been the best experience for my family. Our child has attending la petite since 2 months of age and we have been blessed an amazing staff and loving environment.
I am new to the area of Palm bay and had some issues with finding the best care for my son. I scheduled a tour with this school and that's what I got a TOUR. The assistant director showed me the whole school and explained how a day at the la petite academy school would look like for my son. We even discussed behaviors issues that some child have at age 3 and ways the school handles those behaviors. They also provide a trial day for children to visit the school for 2 hours to see how your child feels at the school before actual attending the school. The school was recommended to me by a friend who went to la petite academy of Palm bay as a kid and he was right it is a good school. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone in the area.
1 star rating. School went downhill since management change.
I cannot say or thank this childcare center any more! From the moment you walk in the door to the end of the day. Every one you walk past smiles and greets you, especially the Director & Asst. Director. They all truly cares about the children & the relationship they build with you and your child. My daughter loves going every single day. She has learned so much and has advanced a lot! The biggest thing for me was being able to see my child through the classroom camera & also how frequently the teachers updated you throughout the day. It felt great to see my daughters progress. I highly recommend La Petite Academy of Palm Bay.
My grand baby has been attending this daycare for 10 months. She leveled up from the toddler class to the two year old room and I have to say the management has been amazing. Any questions we had were answered quickly and professionally. The teachers have been excellent. They had some staffing shortages to work through but got it worked out. My sweetie went through months of adjustment crying at drop off and we thought we'd have to take her out. We stuck in there because there really seemed to be the goal of making it a great place for her, and I know the social benefits of playing with other children. Now she just runs right in and plays with her friends and she talks about her teacher all weekend when there is no school. It has helped greatly that we have access to live video through out the day and can see how she is doing. She just turned 2, she is potty trained, talking a lot and even counting in spanish! So happy with the decision to keep her there. We love it there.
My daughter attended for 2yrs and I’m beyond pleased with the care and attentiveness she received . She was well prepared for kindergarten thanks to the educational support provided by all the teachers she had.
Time to petty because obviously my emails and calls are not being answered. I enrolled my daughter for the school break program. Paid for a week of flex and paid for a week of spring break/ was advised on the very last day of spring break that the school break program was being cut and that I’d be refunded for the flex days not used. Cut 6 months later and not a single word. I’ve called, emailed- no responses and hang ups. No refund. Nothing. Clearly a money hungry organization. Program was cut because not that many kids showed up for one week- so parents cant take a vacation?… as a suggestion- do not use. I was still getting notifications about my child’s day even when she wasn’t there.
I would not suggest anyone bring their kid here. My child came home wet through his clothes a few times. They do not have classrooms with doors and if your child does not stay in the classroom a few times they will kick them out of the school. A two year old is going to roam sometimes that is why there are adults supposed to be present. They also could not tell me how he got bite marks on him.
