Miss Becka was a teacher here over 14 years ago when my oldest attended this school. While our smallest child can be a handful at times, the staff at la petite shows a lot of patience with him. Most of the time he’s very loving and fun to be around! However there are days when a 3-4 year old just acts out. I do appreciate all the extra effort I get from Deb and Becka. We have never had an issue with this school. All teachers have been professional and helpful of anything we have ever asked for. Including miss Mona ! Our boy loves to go to school and see the teachers he has made tons of friends. The curriculum and events they have for the children go above and beyond what most places offer. I would recommend this daycare to anyone! We really enjoy working with the director and staff at this location!

To start, both of our children came to La Petite with special medical needs (oldest was a helmet baby, second has a very weak immune system) and right away Ms. Debbie and Ms. Becca made sure the infant room teachers could have 1:1 time with me to walk through the things to look out for and the disability paperwork the doctor's completed. The teachers have been tremendous at keeping us informed on both children's daily activities (eating/learning), but they also give us a heads up on things like when they are having an emotionally off day and laughing with us about their goofiness. The bond I've seen my children make with teachers and other students is another important thing to note. My oldest wakes up excited to go to school and always talks about her friends. Finally, we've witnessed first hand how seriously the staff takes safety/concerns/complaints we bring to them by looking at the camera feed, addressing staff issues, and even having to let us know when our child was the target of another child's violent behavior (yup, that's a thing). My family may be moving in the near future and one of my biggest concerns is moving the children out of La Petite where I know everyone really knows and cares about my children. ----- Author: Tiffany Rating: 1/5 Date: 9/5/2022, 9:26:41 PM Review: Please don’t bring your children here. Worst 2 days I ever experienced after bringing my daughter here. My child did not want to return to this daycare but I gave it another day (day 2).. she was not eating their food (you’re not allowed to supply lunch- and my child does not drink milk). What I witnessed on camera of one teacher yanking another little girl out of the chair, another getting in a little boys face pointing their finger in his face, I called immediately and asked to speak to the director, left work to remove my child from their care. The director had numerous excuses to not come speak to me with my concerns, but I stayed outside until she came out. Completely disrespectful and did not care about what my concerns were about abuse I witnessed, and didn’t care about my child nor eating or drinking the entire day- stated they would have to rewatch the cameras bc she didn’t know what teacher was in the classroom at the time 🤯. Then never followed up with me, but called my husband to tell him I misinterpreted the actions on the camera due to placement of the camera. And I called corporate etc and the only thing they did was refund my money. Listen to your children folks, they are always right. This place gives me PTSD episodes just looking at pictures of her for the time she was there. ----- Author: Jane Doe Rating: 1/5 Date: 2/4/2022, 3:23:47 PM Review: My child attended for about 6 months, begged me everyday not to go. parents not allowed inside since covid, ok they have cameras and we have access. Multiple times I watched children handled "Roughly", I approached the Manager Debra Lapinski multiple times, things didn't change, finally I saw something that I couldn't tolerate, I immediately had someone pick up my child and called CPS. They supposedly have a "hands off" policy that means they only touch the children when assisting them. well anyhow. My child goes to another Daycare now and she loves it and is thriving. The proof is in the pudding. Trust your gut parents, your children deserve better. Also what I saw didn't happen to my child but someone else's, its not ok and I wish I could tell the parents, corporate La Petite and Mgr Debra Lapinski acted like they didn't see what I saw, they will tell you that you can't trust your own eyes. Be warned.

My son has been attending here for 4 years. The staff and administrators are amazing, patient and caring. My son has excelled here tremendously. I’m so glad I chose this school and would recommend it to everyone.

I’ve called a couple of times on Mrs Deb. Her supervisor is Mrs Kelly. I’ve learned over time. Because she has degrees and has been there a while. What Mrs Deb does will be swept under the rug. I watched her grab a 2 year by the arm and put her face in his face for at least 3-5 minutes. I glanced down at my watch, grabbed the time. And started making calls. I was offered a transfer only if the other location had room. Unfortunately there was no room. Which only lite a fire in me. Because I can’t afford to worry about my daughter. These people with degrees are thought different than a lot of people. Not only are they thought these redirection tactics. But in all honesty knows. They shouldn’t touch those kids. I felt like this review is needed because a lot of us parents are in need, but we don’t need our children to gain any type of trauma or anxiety from this place at 2-5 years old. I hope I run into the mother or father of that child. That baby needs to be moved from their care. Because if it’s alright for the director to make those moves. I’m pretty sure, she makes it okay for her favorite staff to do it too. God, I’m asking you to fix this place that ur children are in. I’m asking you God, to protect all the little lives you have in that building on a daily bases. God, you know at times it’s no understanding, but open all eyes please. Thank you. In your name. 🙏 Amen

Both of my children have gone to this school since they were 12 weeks old, my oldest graduated VPK recently. The school has been incredibly accommodating, flexible, and nurturing to both of my kids, one of them being pretty challenging at times. They have gone above and beyond on behavioral plans and have always treated me and my kids with the utmost respect, patience, and kindness. Just like any other business, staffing is a challenge, things haven't always gone perfectly, but I have found that in my experience, the management of this school is always willing to take feedback, make adjustments, and work with you. I highly recommend this school.

I enrolled my son a few months back he’s been through some things and thought that this center was compassionate and caring one of the teachers got angry with him one day cursed at him , this past Monday he was throwing a temper tantrum not hurting anyone just screaming and having a breakdown . My son informed me that the director was yelling in his face and told him I needed to get him medication , then proceeded to take a picture of a scratch on his arm without my permission …. The director is not personable she’s not friendly and frankly I don’t think she should be working with children. He was at another daycare for 2 years before this one and had no issues like I’ve had with this school. Instead of helping the situation with my sons trauma they’ve traumatized him even more. Thanks Lapetite for nothing. I do not recommend this school and I will never enroll my child in this school ever again. Ms robin ms Anna and Ms Mona are the best ones they have other than that their staff should be re-evaluated. And on top of it once they un enrolled him his vpk voucher was null and void he can’t even participate in the graduation ceremony at his new school this is so detrimental and he should be able to have the achknowledgement from the hard work he’s put in….I’m extremely disappointed and I’m going to make sure to never recommend this school to anyone I feel the issue could have been resolved differently and now my son is still suffering this is very sad

I'm very disappointed with the school I applied with my son VPK papers everything online and they said he's accepted so they welcomed me for a tour a week later I had appointment everything at 3:00 p.m. yesterday, I get there and they tell me oh we're completely full! But why do they text message me everyday are you excited you have a tour coming on Tuesday I talked to somebody too and they said yes you do have a tour I get there they said no we're completely full to make me get the time out of my schedule take off work and to get there and they still are completely full very bad very bad I'm very disappointed and very upset , I rang the doorbell and I had to wait for someone to open the door like a mom who's getting their child, and when the lady the house Mom or whatever you call her came to see me she's like what are you doing here basically and she looked at me and looked down at my kid like we were garbage and then she asked how old is he oh we're fully booked! And when I looked inside the classroom they were over full like they had too many children too many children and they should and I seen the kids running around like crazy and screaming and the teacher wasn't even paying attention to the kids was laughing very rude and disrespectful

I currently have my 2year old as part time at the moment. The director is very attentive and helpful and on top of things very sweet and nice lady. For the staff I haven’t interacted with them so much but I can tell through camera they are caring. Unfortunately my child isn’t eating their lunch but it’s very normal for a toddler to go through that stage. So far I have like the environment only thing Is the updates through the app aren’t updated so I can’t tell if she ate breakfast or their curriculum.
