I had my daughter here for 2weeks when she was one . The teachers were nonstop walking around on their phones ignoring her . THE ENTIRE DAY . My daughter always brought lunch . She was meant to eat what I prepared her daily. She would come with almost a full lunch box . One day she actually did . That was her last day . I went to ask if my daughter had ate and they couldn’t tell me. None of them . Ontop of all this . The cherry on top . The Cuban lady who seemed to think her phone conversation was more important than the lives of about 8 , one year old babies, probably your own. Was RUDE , spoke harshly and demandingly to my baby . She’s now 2 I stopped working again right after this experience . These terrible women traumatized me and my baby . Additionally . My mother always picked my baby up for me since I worked long hours. She would sit and watch how they treated my baby , “just in case” . She FaceTimed me just to show me my baby (who hardly walked ) with her arms out crying for the lady to hold her . As she had her back to her and continued to speak on the phone . There was another incident , mind you this was only 2 weeks. Where the Cuban lady tells my mom “ sorry I have to go get my son , you’ll have to change her “……. To the Cuban lady who was meant to take care of my one year old , don’t take this lightly . If I ever see you again , y te lo digo en espanol perra- te parto la madre.
My son has gone here since he was 2 and will be starting VPK with them this year. The teachers are absolutely amazing, very dedicated to the kids and the staff makes you feel like family. Would recommend today and every day.
I do not recommend this daycare at all I worked in that daycare and not professionalism, the directors have preferences with the students and parents and the truth is I could continue describing how terrible it is here because they are not dedicated to taking care of the children but to being in the gossip.
For context all my three children have been in Kingswood since they were babies. My oldest is almost 10..then my 7 yo went through Kingwoods 10th ave. Now my five yo is graduating from vpk. I appreciate that their staff members have longevity, I appreciate that the staff is multi lingual, I appreciate that when I call Ms Mari or Ms Carlar know my voice, I appreciate so much about the school. My older kids go to aftercare and summer camp. Shout out to All the teachers.
Great choice for my child! Very interactive with the parents and my child loves her teacher!
