My daughter has been going here over 2 years and hardly any issues before now. The past couple of months she had write up after write up and they give it to you, read it, then have you sign. No other explanation or offer of why it happened. One write up was because my daughter hit a boy. Come to find out she hit him because he kicked her in the head. He even wrote an apology letter. Any retraction from the daycare? Not if they want you gone. Maybe their over crowding caught up to them. Before this director it was not great but definitely tolerable. There were incidents of my daughter getting hurt and they would say "oh she fell" well I picked my daughter up early one day and opened the door to the playground and the "teacher" watching the children was buried in her phone. So if your kid gets hurt you know why now. She even tripped over the curb out front (in front of the pastors wife, no less) that had a piece of the sidewalk coming up and bloodied her knee. They fixed that after about a year and we never got an apology. So yes, this is the cheapest daycare in the area. For these reasons and im sure more you now know why. My daughter complained about "miss lee lee" and I can only imagine why. Edit on 6/2/2023-apparently today was this daycares last day and they didn't let ANYONE know, shady!
Calls dcf over anything. Listen to the bad reviews. They must pick favorites at that daycare.
The director is terrible. Unprofessional and uneducated. Beware!!!
Absolutely horrible. My grand baby was there 2 weeks before I seen the devil in there. Hiding behind Jesus's house. NEVER send your children there. I can't stress enough how unprofessional, uneducated, an embarrassment to the church and the childcare industry.
We thought we had picked a great daycare for my grandson. He is High Functioning Autistic with Sensory Processing Disorder. We talked in depth with the facility about that BEFORE enrolling him in December of 2018. For the last 3 months his mother has been working diligently with his therapists to get him ABA Care, which was JUST approved. They were going to provide therapy at home and at daycare. The director of this facility is judgmental, manipulative, deceitful, malicious and derogatory. Each day my daughter discusses my grandson's behavior with his teacher, and how much better he is doing. He has his bad days, but doesn't EVERY 3 year old? Each "incident" was magnified by the director to the point of malicious and down right lying. She kicked my grandson out of daycare, no notice, no warning, no meetings, no notifications. Stated he was a "danger" to others. HE IS 3, weighs 30lbs! His therapist even stated those were horrible words to use for a special needs child and totally uncalled for and wrong. The therapist called the Director herself, but was told an entirely DIFFERENT story than his mother. It appears that the daycare has now "maxed capacity", and his teacher now has "15 students" so she can't take care of Luke. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!!??! There were NO parent / teacher conferences held, no warnings, no letters sent home ... just OUT. Talk about wrong on every level! This behavior coming from a "Christian" facility!?!? His aba therapist had just been set up to come to the facility .. perhaps Kingdom Kids was afraid of all the DEFICIENCIES that would be noted!
We absolutely love Kingdom Kids. Not only are they super friendly and welcoming, they offer so many engaging activities to enhance learning of all children that attend. Mrs. Tessa and all of her staff strive to make EVERY child feel welcome and loved. My son started attending Kingdom Kids when he was 1, and he has learned to count, sing and use sign language and he isn’t even 2 yet! I absolutely love and HIGHLY recommend this wonderful childcare facility.
Love this place, and the staff is great!
