Author: Briana Torres Rating: 5/5 Date: 3/19/2024, 8:42:57 PM Review: I just want to say I have been having my toddler at this facility for 3 years now and my infant has been here now for about 6 months and I have never had to worry about anything with this facility. Right when I arrive they are so happy to see my children the teachers greet them with such happiness and take care of them as I would take care of them at home. One thing as well they work with you in whatever you need ! When babies are sick they don’t charge like other day cares do. My infant gets all the attention here he literally is just with one of two other babies all day unlike other day cares that allow 10 plus babies in one room which I think is very insanitary because they are always putting things in there mouth and that’s how cross contamination happens. But they have been absolutely great with both my babies. I trust them very much. They are also always doing activities with the kids and even field trips they care for there education and get them ready for kindergarten. I have nothing bad to say thank you kidz connection for making the children your number one priority. Oh another thing to add they are believers and so am I so they do bible study with the kids which I absolutely LOVE !!! Thank you so much for all your care !!! ❤️❤️ ----- Author: Allison Robson Rating: 1/5 Date: 3/18/2024, 7:15:51 PM Review: Response to the owner's reply to my review: Your response attacking my character shows so much about you and how you do business. You had an opportunity to admit where you fell short and provide a plan to fix it in the future; however, instead you attempted to redirect people's attention to me. You know nothing about my character except the fact that I wrote a negative review about your facility. 1. Yes, I am a LICENSED foster parent. Which is why the baby was placed into my care. Not sure how that has any relevance here though, except the fact that I am trained in the proper care of children. 2. Getting to know the child does not give you a right to keep him strapped in a high chair - he's a 10 month old baby who wanted to crawl around and play. He had zero behavioral or medical issues to prevent that. The only prevention of this was your daycare taking the infants into the older kid's classrooms in the morning and evenings (where your student to teacher ratio was in fact above the legal limit on a daily basis - enrolled you may have the right number of kids; however, when your teachers come in late or leave early and classed are combined you do not. Just because DCF didn't see you misbehave doesn't mean you don't do it, daily). Additionally, my child was not the only child who we saw in the highchair morning and evening when NOT being fed. 3. DCF's website does not show any inspections in the timeframe he was in your care or after he was in your care. 4. You're correct, I have praised your staff - one staff member only - to you and publicly in my review "We actually like his teacher but she's the ONLY person we trusted so far based on what we had experienced." 5. Diaper changes: I took the photograph of your infant scheduled that was posted on your wall. If you don't use that schedule then why did you type it up and post it on the wall? On his first day he was there from 11:30am-5:30pm and he had one diaper change (his teacher whom I praised above was out that day). 6. You are commenting on my character but what you failed to do is address: a. Keeping kids strapped in highchairs for no reason except as a babysitting tiedown device; b. Your admission to untrained staff watching infants; c. You and your staff's admission to mixing bottles wrong; d. You lying about the length of time and reason why untrained staff watched infants; e. An additional lie now about student teacher ratio. I removed him from your care due to feeling scared for his safety and wellbeing. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm not out to smear your business name or harm your staff. I merely make reviews on my experiences both good and bad. As you can see from all of my former Google reviews there are way more 5 star reviews then 1 star reviews. Additionally, in my review I praised one of your staff members - one. What people will know is, I do not know you/your staff or know of you/your staff except for my experience with your daycare. This isn't my child who I'm advocating for - yet here I am making sure he is cared for properly and not exposed to care that I deem inappropriate (as I would care for my own child). Reputable daycare facilities in the area have a 4-12 month waiting period, yet your facility has openings (maybe there is a reason why). My husband and I both work full time - yet we removed him from your facility and lost time from work to care for him ourselves instead of having you care for him until we could find him somewhere new. If that's not genuine fear about the care he was getting then I don't know what is. You don't have to agree with me publicly but hopefully you can self-reflect on the validity of all concerns raised here and make changes for the kids - because it's the right thing to do - even if DCF hasn't noticed the need for improvement, yet. ----- Author: Allison Robson Rating: 1/5 Date: 2/16/2024, 5:01:50 PM Review: This was our horrible experience in the 9 days at this facility … untrained staff watching infants (per the owners admission), mixing bottles wrong (per staff admission), trapping infants in high chairs as babysitting devices, illegal teacher/student ratios, owner lying, and diapers not changed. 1 diaper change over 5 hours day 1.Their infant room changing schedule posted on the wall has 6 hours and 15 minutes between diaper changes. They combine classes in the mornings and afternoons. The teacher to student ratio was regularly higher than state standard of 4/1 infant requirements while he was in these other classes. Additionally, we noticed every morning and every evening he and a couple of other kids were ALWAYS in high chairs — when not eating. Multiple staff members utilized high chairs as a standard babysitting device to keep the kids in one spot. Day 9: Dropped off at 8am. First day he hasn’t had breakfast already. She was alone with 6 kids. I offered to stay and feed him myself and she reassured me that she’d do it. As I was walking out, the OWNERS HUSBAND was on the phone (likely with the owner like a lot of mornings). I heard him say they weren’t going to do kids breakfast because they were too busy. He then went into the room my little guy was in and counted the teacher/child ratio. I called my husband and told him I was uncomfortable with what I heard. I came back 2 hours and 20 minutes later to check on him unannounced. His teacher had arrived at 9:30 like normal. I stopped to talk to her and she gave me an update stating “he already had a bottle before I arrived. I know it’s not supposed to be until 10:30 but someone else gave it to him” - I told her it’s ok. We actually like his teacher but she’s the ONLY person we trusted so far based on what we had experienced. When we picked him up at 5pm, he was in another room, in a high chair like always, but this time he was drinking a bottle. His last daycare bottle is supposed to be at 3pm-3:30pm to not spoil his dinner, but our note did say if he needed more it’s ok so I didn’t think much of it at that time. We got home and I noticed only 1 packet of formula was used out of 3 - should always be at least 2 used daily. Additionally, only one bottle was dirty when all other 8 days both were dirty. I called the owner to find out why he was drinking the same bottle from 8:20am (time of first bottle on his log) until 5pm. His bottle is only good for 1 hour after being made. She put his teacher on the phone and she reassured me that he was given a bottle that am prior to her arrival and she gave him his second bottle at 3:40pm. We discussed how that’s not possible b/c only 1/3 of his formula was utilized and only one bottle was dirty. She then put the morning bottle maker on the phone (Crystal maybe - not positive). I asked if she accidentally gave him someone else’s formula and she reassured me she didn’t. That lady explained she only gave him some of the formula powder with “a little bit of water.” - his log says 8oz which would need the full portion of powder. Additionally, they’ve only ever been told to give him full powder/8oz water - no other mixture. I then had to explain to her that you can’t mix formula and water at whatever ratio you want. That’s not feeding the baby the calories they need but only filling them up on water. That also made it to where he didn’t have enough calories in his first feeding when she messed it up AND in his second feeding when his teacher unknowingly poured a partial powder into a full 8oz of water. The owner the called me back and LIED TO ME! She re-explained the bottle story of the wrong powder/water amount. Then stated that girl isn’t trained on infants. Doesn’t know the infants and “only watched them for 30 minutes while his teacher was on a lunch break.” She went on and on about his teacher needing a lunch break and they have to get breaks and it’s only 30 mins — THIS IS NOT TRUE! He had that bottle at 8:20am prior to his teachers arrival at 9:30am and prior to me stopping by at 10:20am.

They take the curriculum very serious while having fun and it shows within the children. The place always smells amazing, it’s super clean, and they have the most loving, caring, and amazing staff. It is definitely a place I feel my children are loved and safe. I could not be any happier than I am by making the decision in having my children join this daycare. Thanks for all you do Kidz Connection!

They have my kid for 20 min. Just because he stand from the seat to the door and call for mama. They said they can’t have him in the school. There no professional at all. They give me all the paper back in a second when I cross that door.
I cannot say enough good things about this daycare and the owner Michelle. This was the first daycare my kids have ever gone to at 4 years old and 1 years old. I was so nervous sending my kids to a daycare and I swear I probably texted Michelle a million times their first day, she was nothing but kind and reassuring that they were doing okay. Unfortunately we have now moved so we have to leave this wonderful daycare. They really care for the kids here and are super helpful if you are having any issues. My daughter always came home talking about her favorite teachers Miss Stephanie and Miss Ashley. My son’s teacher Miss Stacy was also always so good to us and helpful when my son would have meltdowns as I was leaving. I LOVE this daycare and all the staff, nothing but good things to say about them! I highly recommend checking them out!

My daughter goes to pre-k here and loves it! They do so many fun activities (Teddy Bear Tea Party, Build a Robot, Leprechaun Trap, Taco Tuesday, Spaghetti Day, Pirates and Princess day with a treasure hunt, Field Trips - just tons of fun) They also do a lot of hand writing practice, painting. I feel like its everything pre-k is supposed to be, I wish we could do kindergarten here too.
I've been bringing my daughter to Kidz Connection for 2 years now and we have been so happy with the level of attention, care, and learning she has received. I'm definitely over-protective and I feel confident, comfortable and safe when she's in the care of the Kidz Connection staff. They have shown patience and grace with our family when she was scared going to school in the beginning, but now she is so excited to go in every day and it's such a great feeling to know she's happy there. I highly recommend Kidz Connection- the staff absolutely knows what they're doing!
