If your are needing child care you can trust, Kid's Discovery in Valpariso is the place ! The director is awesome! She was helpful and informative during the enrollment process. Susan and her staff were friendly and caring. They are all super stars in my book! Highly recommend you give them a try.

I just want to say I am very grateful for the communication that has been since I started my son for VPK! Originally he was in one class with 11 kids and was not doing so well. One of the teacher was always sick so they had to combine both VPK classes (I’d assume right around 22 kids) and my autistic son doesn’t do with changes. Tisha was there every step of the way assuring me and keeping an open end of conversation with me. She would check in and see how it was going and if there was anything she could do to help! My son is now THRIVING doing the best he has done since he has started! I am so thankful for this experience.

I just wanted to share the experience I had attempting to enroll my son for summer camp, and I’m glad he didn’t attend this center. First off, when I made an appointment, there was one person working the front desk. I had to wait 15 minutes for a tour because she had to answer calls and do everything on her own (however, she was very nice). Also, this place is filthy. I don’t even know how to expound on that further, it was just bad. They keep the summer camp kids crammed in one room and there is a very limited outdoors area. Also, during the enrollment process, ONE week before school ends, they wanted an arm and a leg in paperwork. Vaccination records and a physical for a one-week camp, really? I got a bad vibe as soon as I walked in this place and I decided to enroll my son in 4H Camp. Although KD is very reasonably priced, you get what you pay for.

I see this center hasn’t had a review in a long time. The ladies who are running this place currently are phenomenal with my kids. I’m a single parent of two boys and both are having the best possible experience being cared for at Kids Discovery #7 the ladies up front, absolutely amazing and helpful. The ladies on the field with my kids have excelled in communicating with me about my kids. I’d like to give them all the praise and appreciation they deserve because they are making a difference for us. Thank you!

I can’t even begin to express what some amazing teachers Kids Discovery in Valparaiso has. People with so much compassion which shows through in their love and determination they have to make a difference in a child’s life. It is an honor to work side by side with these amazing men and women. They work as a team to help each other out to succeed and be successful.

My son has been attending Kids Discovery since the age of 2. He is almost 6 years old. He loves it. One of the main reasons he loves it so much is because he gets to see Ms Nikki everyday. She has been his teacher a couple of times in different classes and she has been so kind. She is very good with all the children. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students. WE LOVE YOU Ms NIKKI!!

Both my daughter came here during the summer and from the 2 year old room up to VPK and they loved coming here. My younger daughter still likes to come on holidays when school is closed. Loved the teachers my children had and my kids loved them also

My son started here when he was 2. When he first started we really liked it. We loved his first teacher, Nikki. The center was clean and the playground was great. I wasn’t pleased when teachers started rotating in and out all the time. I never knew who would be with my son all day. It seemed like they were losing good teachers fast and just filling their positions with anybody that applied. This started happening when Crystal was leaving and there was new management. There were a lot of younger girls that would be just sitting alone not interacting with the kids. They hardly ever did arts and crafts and there was no structure or curriculum. When my son turned 4 I signed him up for their vpk program. After hearing from multiple people how bad their program was I took him off and signed him up somewhere else. When the owner asked me why I told her the truth. She acted surprised to hear it and said something about them needing computers. After one week at our new childcare I regret him ever going to Kids Discovery in Valp. Even though I have to pack his lunch now, I’m happy to do it because Kids Discovery served food you could buy from a gas station.
