Author: Alison Simmons Rating: 5/5 Date: 4/2/2024, 1:34:23 PM Review: Really 1 STAR! I am only giving this daycare 5 stars because of the infant room! This was the first daycare we took our kid to and if it wasn’t for the three AWESOME ladies: Ms Clara, Ms Cecilia and Ms Karla (and Ms. Queena who moved) then we would have left immediately. Once our child was out of the infant room, I quickly noticed the lack of CURRICULUM! There is NO structure! No schedule and NO real learning! Teachers either don’t speak English to talk to toddlers or they’re college kids or they’re horrible - I’ve seen it with my own eyes on camera! Literally I felt like this school is a drop off for parents who don’t care about their kid’s education!!! It wasn’t until we took our kid to another daycare that I’m now seeing on cameras REAL lessons, REAL story time reading and more! Our child is now speaking 3 languages, 6-8 word sentences and only been there for 3 months! Luckily we didn’t lose much time wasted paying for a tuition and getting nothing because the kid was an infant! Move your kids to other schools!! Don’t settle!! Also, the new director did not seem as experienced, she might be a nice person, but lack of experience and knowledge to bring up bright kids with a set curriculum is what is sad! Hopefully this can help her understand and change their ways at this school! I would watch the cameras like a hawk daily, so we encourage parents to do the same and you’ll see for yourself! I literally drive our child to the new daycare with a smile, knowing that it is the best education now finally! And also hasn’t been sick in a LONG time!! Meanwhile at Kiddie Academy our kid was sick EVERY week! Hope things get better, I feel bad for those kids there! ----- Author: Alejandra Vega Rating: 1/5 Date: 7/26/2023, 3:02:53 AM Review: Not a good place , the new director doesn’t care about the kids , I had several episodes and they only said we are going to check the cameras and they never did my son was bite by ants all over his body nobody said anything until I found out when I got home and I had to spend the entire next day at the hospital with him because it got really bad and swollen , I can’t believe nobody said anything so it means he was by himself of course because the teacher they had was a teenager that couldn’t care less about them with no experience at all!!! They only good thing about this place is the infant room !!! Nothing else !!! Money that’s the only thing they care

Is this day care considered safe?

Curriculum is top notch … look no further if you are looking a premium childcare center for your child to learn and thrive in a nurturing and save environment. ----- Author: Alma Rating: 5/5 Date: 6/10/2023, 1:23:58 PM Review: My daughter went for Pre-k with Ms. Jenna and Ms.Rachel and they are the best ! I remember doing the tour with Ms. Jenna and at the end I told my husband “I hope she is her teacher” and I’m so glad she was . She creates such a safe environment for the kids to express their feelings and I loved it. My daughter also loved Ms. Tonya, sometimes she will substitute Ms.Jenna and she was also very nice. What I also loved about this place was the cameras, the security to enter this place and the pictures they sent of the activities my daughter did throughout the day. Something so special they did at the end of the school year was an album full of memories. I loved that they took their time to do that and is something so special for the kids. Katie is the Director and she is so nice and understanding. My daughter learned so much and I’m so glad I she went here. I already said how nice everyone is here but they really are :”) ----- Author: Alyssa Rash Rating: 5/5 Date: 6/8/2023, 3:17:15 PM Review: I love this daycare so much. The staff is so friendly and will cater to any necessary needs for your children. I will refer this daycare to any of my fellow friends or family. This is the best Daycare ever. I know my child is safe and well taken care of in the care of Kiddie Academy.

Nothing that was said to me on the tour that would occur really happened. We only lasted one day because of it. In return , my son is greatly affected and I am left to deal with the aftermath of correcting the trauma, yet I still had to pay because they wouldn’t refund my money. After a back and forth conversation, I was refunded the deposit and month but not my registration, despite the fact that the reasons we were leaving on the very first day of school was due to their negligence. 1) although the end of the day email stated otherwise, they skipped the curriculum completely for the day and instead it was a “free for all”. 2) no one changed my son’s diaper; not even once. 3) my son was crying hysterically for 4-5 hours and no one comforted him nor guided him, nor called me. He was lost; pacing and looking around while crying and there was no sympathy to the fact that it was his first day and he was in a distraught, helpless state. I kept looking at the cameras giving them a chance to do something about it, but ultimately gave up and went to pick him up early when I saw nothing was really going to change. The fact that after all that, the teacher had the nerve to tell me “he had a great day” when I picked him up - as if I had not been seeing what had been happening all day- made me even madder. I called the school while I was seeing this happening so they would correct it, but I was told the Director was not available, so when I picked my son up early from school, we talked to her. She was apologetic at the time and reassured us she would look at the cameras. She asked us not to leave and to give her a chance to address the issues. I responded I would give her a chance, but if my son didn’t want to return on Thursday (my son was enrolled for Tuesdays and Thursdays) due to the experience he received, I was not going to force him. Needless to say, my son refused to go back, so we never did. Thursday afternoon I called and the Director was in a “I’m returning your call, what’s up”? kind of attitude, instead of being in a “I noticed you guys didn’t show up this morning. I looked at the cameras” attitude. Given this, I had to tell her “I don’t know if you noticed, but we didn’t make it this morning because he was really affected. Were you able to look at the cameras?” She said she had and that there were “some little things” that they could correct, and that she understood how without audio, the video looked horrible, but that the teachers did talked to him and I just couldn’t hear it. What? It seems like they must have been talking to him from across the room then. Even if that was the case, it still looked horrible because it WAS horrible. They should have comforted him, held him, hugged him, guided him - specially because I told them in the morning and in the paperwork that THAT was the way to approach him. If nurturing doesn’t come naturally to a care-taker when they see a kid on their first day of school or any day in the state my son was, then you just don’t have what it takes to be a care-taker, period. She then proceeded to tell me crying is normal. This mindset continued to be even more mind blowing to me. Crying is normal, but crying inconsolably for 4-5 hours straight without anyone doing anything about it is not! The attitude was definitely not apologetic anymore and that’s when I asked for my refund and was told what I already explained above. This was a terrible experience and one I am still working with my son to correct the effects of. It is disheartening because my son was actually excited about school and picked out his outfit that morning, but that excitement got ruined. First experiences are difficult to forget and educators have so much responsibility in their hands when it comes to shaping our kids that these events should not be tolerated.

I have 3 children in the before and after care. This facility is so amazing from the first time I walked in. They are so willing to help. They have an extreme amount of patience for the children. They are understanding and helpful with each child. Miss Jade is awesome and works with my children different needs. She is a superstar teacher. . Mrs. Olivia and Mrs. Rachelle are so supportive and run an amazing clean facility with a smile. I highly recommend this daycare.

Nothing but great things to say for the staff at this Kiddie Academy! I’m hesitant to leave my kiddos with anyone but the ladies here make the drop off so much easier. Pick up time is always my favorite part of the day. My kids are always eager to tell me every single thing they did lol! Special thanks to Sonia, Jenna, Tonya and Tali for making these days so fun ♥️
