I was hesitant at first after reading some of the past reviews but on my 1st onsite visit with the Director Jessica it felt just right and I knew my daughter would flourish. Jessica is an amazing Director, she always have a great smile and well in tuned with each kid and her energy is the same which is welcoming and energetic. I am so happy with the educational activities and curriculum provided and my daughter is constantly learning new things and comes home with arts and crafts. She usually gets creative like dress like Santa or favorite dinosaur . The facility is little dated but is always clean and smell great. The communication with the Director Jessica during the day is great and at times she will send me pictures of my daughter to keep me part of her day. They provide breakfast and lunch. This daycare is not just business, they have become part of the family.

We started here a year ago, we were very happy until about July. Naz the new owner increased tuition first with no notice what so ever. I had to look at my account to find out myself why my bill was past due. Next we have been told prices were going up to over 200+ with just maybe 1-2 weeks max to prepare for. Then we heard that she was going to fire every teacher there like her other facilities as well as remove ELC and VPK. Since July my kid was becoming noticeably unhappy at morning drops offs and clingy more than she ever used to be. I made concerns to the staff about these changes and sad to say nothing was really done about them. We pulled out before the teachers started leaving and when throngs started changing badly. Plus the last 6 months she has started getting really upset when she makes a mess or spills something, cries and screams I’m sorry all the time and she never gets in trouble at home for making a spill or a mess. Behavior with my child has changed significantly the last 6 months, so that tells me she was getting yelled at and in trouble for spilling anything or making a mess. My last straw was when my kid was picked up about 4:30-5:00 pm like every day and she was in a poop filled pull up like a 8+ hour diaper the exact same heaviness when I got her home. Al the way home she kept saying her butt hurt and I had never had this experience ever with any one at this daycare but she had to not have been changed in more than 3+ hours. Remind you she also uses the potty and will tell you when needs to, she was ignored and not listened to and it was obvious. We were also told that is unfortunately what happens when some of the staff is aware the child leaving and will not be returning. They also said that some people accept this behavior and think it is perfectly okay to do as it is there way they get back at the parents for leaving them. We got her home I was soo livid out of my mind. I could not even believe it I pulled her out a day early due to that. I was highly recommending this daycare to a lot of people, and now after these past few months experience wise I will be doing nothing of the sort anymore. I am disgusted at the treatment of my kid and how the owner Naz is handling things here. Former Employee Review Teacher Edition Attention anyone looking for a daycare: DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILD AT KID CITY USA on 35th ST. I was let go during my vacation and so were other coworkers in a mass firing. The new owner, Nazreen Muhammed, let go over half the staff last Friday afternoon and called the cops on them, acting like they were criminals (I worked with these people for years, they are the furthest thing from it). Not only did she fire the staff and made false accusations, she and her new staff were with the kids while my old coworkers had to scramble to get their things in less than 15min Friday afternoon. I wasn't there but I have heard from my coworkers and parents that the new teachers watching the kids kept yelling at the children, calling them stupid and telling them to stop misbehaving while there were STRANGERS in the classroom and watching their beloved teachers be forced to leave. The last straw for me was when a parent overheard one of the new teachers yelling at one of our special needs kids for wetting himself. Despicable place. Nazreen Muhammed is a liar, a thief (she doubled tuition prices without telling parents), and a horrible human being that shouldn't be allowed near children.

This is a great center all of the staff are very sweet and the owners and director treat me like family I love working here with all of these beautiful children. Every day is an adventure here at kid city and I love every moment. I am truly blessed and excited to see what kid city has for the future.

I love working with the children. They teach me as well as I teach them. The staff here is very supportive they’re encouraging their uplifting they love the children. The parents are very supportive of the curriculum we use and very supportive of the staff. The Owners treat us all like we are family and are just absolutely amazing to work for.

I had heard negative about this place for several years. Then I found out they have new owners. Ms Naz owns several other Kid City USA’s from Gainesville to Mt Dora. Ms Naz and all her staff/director's are wonderful caring people. They love these kids like they are their own. Keep up the good work!!

They are absolutely amazing here! The teachers are extremely friendly and work great with the kids. Definitely recommend kid city USA if you’re looking for a day care
