Things have really been so much smoother with the new director. I really love the teachers and the facility. It's smaller but I like having my boys close to each other for comfort. They are so nice and treat the kids like their own.
Mrs. Tammy is the BEST therapist around!! She is most loving lady with my 4 year old boy. Tammy has been seeing my son for over 2 years now. My son LOVES her and is ready to see her every week. She loves her kids like they are her own! She has more patience than anyone I have seen! I will use Tammy until my son no longer needs Occupational Therapy.
Mrs. Tammy Mckenzie is such a positive person. Every time I see her she is very welcoming and has a smile on her face. Whenever I ask her how to handle certain behavior with my two year old daughter she always has great advice on how I should handle the situation I ask her about. The kids love her and she treats them as if they were her own children. The parents at the Daycare where I work always talk about the great experience their child has while they are in her care.
It's truly sad that a center for special needs children pays their teachers so little! $9-$12 an hour! That is not a living wage. Parents take note! Your teachers have all the same bills as you and these are the people taking care of and educating your children. Demand they be paid a living wage. Bare minimum should be $15 an hour.
If you truly love your child and want your child to get the help that they really needs in order to progress in life, if your child is not Caucasian please don’t take your child here thank me later. S. Pierre
This place is not what you would think the tile suggest "pediatric services" for young students. It seems to serve youth with diagnosed "disabilities" or developmental delays. I was looking to get a professional evaluations completed on a child without lnking into their PROGRAMS. - for enrollment.
I am so thankful for progressive pediatric child care. My daughter has been here since she was 8 weeks old. There is always someone available to help with any questions I have with her development. Every morning she wakes up she starts calling for her teachers and friends. We love Progressive Pediatric Child Care, this is defiantly our second family and we love everyone to pieces!
My daughter has been going to Progressive Pediatric Child Care since she was an infant. She just turned 3 years old and still loves to go to school!!! She has had wonderful and caring teachers every year. There is very low turnover...actually I don't think there was ever a change while she was in a class! My daughter also receives therapy during the school day which is very convenient. I have been very pleased and even though I haven't had any complaints I know my concerns would be taken seriously if I did. Even if I ask a question the staff makes sure my questions are answered to my satisfaction and that I have no concerns. They truly care about their children and families. One of my sons attended VPK at Progressive and loved it and also attends therapy. My other son attends The Learning Center, receives therapy and participates in other school events. Progressive is like family!!
