We love it here! The staff members are so caring and patient with both our kids, who moved here out of state and had never been in daycare before. Despite all that transition, the staff here truly helped make it a good experience for our family.

Our now 17-year-old spent 3 years learning, growing and gaining the foundation for educational success! Ms. Tina and Ms. Michelle and their team provide a safe, loving and supportive environment to all the children they serve. It was the only place we considered when it came time to start all over again 3 years ago! The Hyer Street team continues to be the PERFECT place to teach/nurture our kids! <3 Gina S.

We can not say enough good things about Hyer Street Academy. We stumbled across this beautiful neighborhood school and are so grateful we did! Michelle and all of her stuff are warm, professional, and take the time to foster relationships with the whole family. They provide not only excellent childcare, but a space for the kids to be creative, excited about learning and to be themselves. The space is clean, colorful, homey, and inviting. There has never been a day my children come home not happy or taken care of to excellent standards. Highly recommend to all families looking for care.

Hyer Street Skool is simply fantastic. Our oldest daughter started at six months old and has recently graduated to Kindergarten and our youngest daughter began at three months old and is now in the 3’s class. You’ll never worry for a second about your child being loved because everyone there quickly becomes an extension of your family. Their daily lesson plans are challenging, yet age appropriate and fun. Hyer Street Skool set the stage for a seamless transition to Kindergarten, both socially and academically.

If I could give this school a thousand stars I would!! From the first second I met Michelle while looking for a place I could trust with my 2 year old I felt like I was with family and knew her forever. Miss Tina was my daughters first teacher. Tina has been working there for 30 years and my daughter still loves her! She is such a beautiful and sweet person, she helped me several times understand my daughter ( when she was 2 ) and I will be thankful forever for her! When Ella went into the 3 year old class and we had to switch into Miss Aneeshas class I was scared Ella wouldn’t live her as much as Miss Tina but she did!!! Aneesha is one of the most energetic and happy teachers at the school perfect for teaching 3 year olds! There is so much creativity and dancing in her class I love it! Always smiling and loving the kids. My daughter has now advanced to the big 3 year old class with Miss Caityln whose class is right next to Aneeshas class making the transition so easy for the kids. Miss Caitlyn is great with craft projects, teaching the kids and dancing with them. Ella loves her daughter who is in the same class and has been having a blast with Miss Caitlyn. EVERY person who works at this school is so sweet, you always feel like family and they LOVE your kids that’s the most important thing. I am never afraid to leave my kid and my daughter wants to go to school and play with her friends, learn, see her teachers and the staff. This school has been such a great experience. We are so thankful for Hyer Street and everyone!!

Hyer Street Skool has been an amazing school for our family. Our kiddo has been there since 7.5 weeks and has just started Kindergarten. This is a family owned daycare that has been around since the mid-70's. What I love and will miss most about it is how much the teachers love the kids, and (if you want it) Michelle (the owner) will give you a healthy dose of no-BS advice whenever you need it. Some of the teachers (Barbara and Ellen - in the baby room) have been there for over twenty years. They give the babies all the love and comfort that they need. The teachers in the other classes are all great, and many have been used by parents as baby sitters. Throughout the years, Hyer Street Skool has helped us at every stage and we will be forever grateful. We will miss you! Thank you for giving our kid a great foundation to tackle kindergarten! I randomly found Hyer 2 years ago and was very happy I did. I feel like I drop my son with family everyday. He receives so much love and attention from Michelle (the owner) and all the teachers. I like the structure, stability and how they teach. It’s also nice that my son has been with the same kids since he was 6 months. He has so many friends ands speaks about all of them by name. I see a lot of the same kids and parents everyday. This speaks to the stability, quality of the care. Everyone here has a genuine desire to care for children and it’s great to see. Their play ground is one of the best around too!

We have had our infant at Hyer Street Skool for the last couple of months. She started when I had to return to work at only 14 weeks old. She loves it, knowing she is in good hands makes it easier to drop her off everyday. We just love Mrs. Ellen and Barbie. Michelle is great to work with and I am very happy we made the decision to use Hyer Street Skool for our daycare needs.
