Prior to attending Hyer Academy, my daughter had developed negative thoughts and feelings about school and education in general. Fortunately, Hyer Academy has provided her with a corrective emotional experience and she now views school as a fun and safe place. I am consistently impressed with the school’s pedagogy, curriculum, and staff. The Hyer staff seem to have a deep understanding of child development which underpins all of their work. They use play (the universal language of children) to both facilitate learning and nurture a love for learning. I am very satisfied with the school and happy I found Hyer Academy for my daughter.

My son has been going to Hyer street preschool since he was 14 months old. Each teacher has been absolutely amazing, with nurturing and loving learning environment! He is now in Hyer Academy (the school for the older age kiddos who are in age group: 3 year olds to vpk age group). Hyer academy has been wonderful! It is a Montessori/Reggio Emilia approach which fosters the child-centered, self-guided educational approach for their growing minds!

Our family feels so blessed to have found Hyer Academy! Our son absolutely thrives there and loves it! It is so different from traditional school but offers such amazing opportunities for learning, exploring, socialization, play and physical exercise. Michelle has done such a wonderful job in creating this space where kids can truly be kids! All of the staff are also amazing especially Miss Sarah ( who apparently gives the best back rubs and mommy’s just don’t compare) Miss Yoselin who loves both of my boys and is always making sure they get all the snacks and Miss Gabi who is so sweet! All of the teachers are so encouraging, loving, kind and energetic! I’m not sure how so many great people ended up in one place but we are so thankful! We will be sad when our time at Hyer Academy comes to an end!
My child is currently in the VPK program. His teacher is amazing as well as all of the other teachers. My child loves going to school and has a smile everyday I pick him up. I'm really happy with all the hands on learning he's receiving as well as the love and attention. I am vry lucky to have him here.
