Finding a place to board your dog is easy. Finding a place and people you can trust with your dog is a whole nother story. This is that place. Everything here is done with purpose. The safety, health, and welfare of each dog is the #1 priority. Talk to the owner for five minutes and take a tour. See for yourself why this is the BEST place for boarding in Pensacola. Too easy.

I'm so happy we found the Happy Dog Resort! We initially just needed someone to groom our yellow lab but part of their process is a four hour behavior assessment for daycare. We may eventually need that, so why not? Hope loves to play and got to play with a bunch of friendly pooches of all sizes. She had such a blast and it was great to watch her on the multiple cameras remotely. There were always 1-2 or more adults present, depending on the # of dogs, which is great. Hope came home nicely groomed, no more itchy, dry skin, nails clipped and exhausted. I also loved that Hope got a report card where we learned she was friendly, domineering, playful and liked to butt in when other dogs were playing, LOL. Not shocked! We will definitely be back!

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Brynlee, the receptionist I spoke with over the phone. She was incredibly helpful in answering my questions and was so kind throughout our conversation. I was also surprised to find someone at work today given the weather conditions, but I’m so glad she was there. Her dedication and excellent service deserve to be recognized and appreciated! Hopefully I can bring my dogs in soon to meet her!

This place is so awesome. I bring my dog here for 3-4 day long stays when my husband and I go out of town and he is such a happy boy while he’s there. I love that I am able to check on him through all of the cameras, and the staff are so friendly and very responsive. They never make me feel like a crazy overprotective dog mom (even though I am) and they always give Ace the extra amenities that I add on for him, so it’s nice to know that he is really getting the snuggles and one-on-one time when I pay for it! Also this facility doesn’t use the harsh chemicals for cleaning that other boarding places do. I took Ace to another place and he got a rash from the harsh cleaning chemicals, by happy dog uses a diluted bleach mixture that’s safe for the dogs as soon as it dries and my little guy has never had a bad experience with them. Definitely bring your dogs here!!

We took Hugo to Happy Dog Resort for a year while living downtown. He received the best loving care we could hope for! He would cry with anticipation starting a few blocks away and couldn’t get out of the car and in with his friends soon enough! We had to move out of state and were sad to have to leave Happy Dog and all the loving staff!
