Author: David Joshua Rating: 4/5 Date: 8/4/2022, 2:27:12 AM Review: I went from Pre-K to 8th Grade here and I honestly have to say the school has had its ups and downs over the years. I'm not sure what happened, but I think the budget dropped on the food a lot. The food just kept getting worse every year and thinking of what the school has become over the years is just too weird. I think they were making some risky investments or somethin lol. The teachers are a different story though, now there are some really good teachers like Mrs. Cope, Mrs. Callahan, Ect. but not all the teachers are as nice. Now I've come to realize I have been pretty hard on my old history teacher, but in my defense her teaching curriculum isn't the best it could be. I can understand lingering over a certain subject to help the student understand the subject better, but she stayed on the same lesson for too long. There's a good hundred pages still left in my old history book that I haven't finished yet because of the slow teaching. Come to think of it now, there are no other teachers I had a problem with, so I think it's time to address chapel service. Now the direct chapel service itself is not bad at all, on every weekday except Wednesday, he would have a short chapel where a Christian song gets played, we do the pledge of allegiance to the American flag and the Christian cross, then we'd all go into prayer with the pastor, then a closing song. My only problem was the number of times they played the same song over and over again. It was easy to know what songs would be played and most of the time the same song would be played 2-3 days a week. If the same songs not on, they'll play the one song the rest of the week. There wasn't much preaching on the other weekdays, on Wednesday, however, the Pastor would preach in a fun way for the kids of a younger audience to understand the message while still teaching the older audience new lessons they havent learned yet. I would rate the school 4-5 stars, if the high school ciriculum had more opportunitys for high schoolers, and the high school got out earlier, I would definetly come here my high schol year. ----- Author: trinity faith Rating: 5/5 Date: 4/8/2022, 6:48:20 PM Review: the teachers are mid, but ms. cope and mrs. callahan are the best in the world. the abeka curriculum is very informative! mr. denny is also awesome. great friendship's, and as someone with social anxiety.. this school makes me feel safe and comfortable. slay. #gohere ❤️

Author: IndeedItzZoe Rating: 1/5 Date: 9/14/2022, 11:54:07 PM Review: honestly, this school has gone downhill severally. I do not recommend to go to their highschool program, they do not teach whatsoever and the teachers have also admitted that they can only break it down to a certain extent. also not only that they didn't teach, but almost all of the teachers would gossip about KIDS. they call themselves "Christian" yet they all seem miserable. in the beginning of this year, the now woman principal said that this schools education is far more advanced than a regular public schools education but ever since I've switched to a public school, I realized how behind I am from the way good shepherd has been teaching us the same things since atleast 8th grade. they are all unorganized and when I was badly sick with covid this year, they refused to give me my work so I had to come to school extremely behind on everything. the teachers do not care if you're sick either, they have no sympathy whatsoever. the church needs to shut the entire school down. Update: I'm still struggling with school from years of being "self taught" by good shepherd. I've been doing okay, but I really hope that no parent sends their kid to good shepherd for any of their highschool years because they set you up for failure and they do NOT teach you at all. not very professional but okay 🤨

Facilitates child abuse and allows unsavory morons to watch children…. VERY UNSAFE I WENT HERE MYSELF AND HAD A BRAIN ANEURISM FROM THE NEGLECT, very sad they brandish the name of Christ while truly worshipping their cars, gossip, and themselves.

This has been the most pleasant and welcoming school! We moved from public to private after our daughter was not getting adequate help from her teachers, and that she had already went through 3 different teachers just in the first few months of second grade. The changes in my child are more than a blessing she has reached goals and has performed way better than imagined possible. she came home her first full week and was writing and reading in cursive. This school has been an absolute blessing. They accept scholarships from step-up.

My nephew attended Good Shepherd and what stood out to me was their use of the Abeka curriculum over the years which creates a strong learning foundation that successfully transitions, each subject into the next cohesively providing their students with the basic skills they need to go on to lead successful lives while also building their foundation with Christ. Having that strong and faith based education that he received while growing up shaped him into the outstanding young man that he is today.

School is immaculately clean, teachers make sure all children are involved, and the principal makes sure all parents stay informed.
