Global Learning Preschool in Stuart, Florida offers infant and toddler care services with a dedicated team of teachers who assist with daily activities and developmental milestones. The facility maintains a structured drop-off and pick-up system through their front office to manage foot traffic and ensure security throughout the day. While the center provides basic care essentials and maintains consistent operating hours for working parents, their communication style remains traditional with paper-based daily reports rather than digital updates.

Author: Amanda Lane Rating: 2/5 Date: 5/15/2024, 1:20:08 PM Review: Writing this review because as a mom, I would want to be well informed when making a decision for a daycare! One star for being one of very few daycares who offer infant care. One star for keeping my baby fed and alive. Crystal at the front office is nice, teachers are nice. Unfortunately there is much room for improvement as outlined below: 1) COMMUNICATION - It's 2024 and most daycares have adapted to a digital system that allows real-time updates on your children with photos. No such thing here. You get a slip of paper at the end of the day (if you're lucky) that half the time is inaccurate or ineligible scribbles which is a huge problem when you have an infant who you need to monitor for milk intake and dirty diapers. I had some major issues initially with my baby not being offered enough milk throughout the day when we were already concerned about weight gain. This seemed to be resolved temporarily, then happen again until I said something again. Most likely due to the fact that there were never the same staff members with her. Notices to parents are written rudely and aggressively, full of "!!!!!!!!!!" with reminders. We are adults, we do not need to be yelled at. Furthermore, my infant was sick and even hospitalized a few times and not an ounce of compassion or concern was shown. 2) PROCEDURES - Kids are dropped off and picked up at the front office, which limits foot traffic into the school but you never get to see your kid's classroom and with one "runner" to get kids, sometimes you have to wait a long time to receive your kid. It's strange to me that I can't walk my baby to her classroom. Also, they have a 48 hour stay home policy for illnesses, which is absurd and unnecessary and not in line with DCF regulations or any other daycare procedures I know of. Last, you must pay in in full for an entire week UNLESS your kid is out for 3 or more days, in which case it is discounted. This is crazy and there should be a credit for days missed, within reason. 3) STAFF/TURNOVER RATE - Literally had no idea who my infant's teachers were. She must have had several different teachers during the year and we were never once informed of staff changes, staff information, etc. These are people caring for your children daily, you would think there would be communication about staff changes. At the end of her time there, my baby started spending time in another classroom it seems after she turned one, and I wasn't even notified about this change. I knew we were there temporarily so I didn't make a big deal out of it, but this would not fly for me otherwise. There is SO much room for improvement here. Again, I'm grateful that my infant was under the care of seemingly loving teachers (most of whom did not speak English, but as long as they safely cared for my baby, that's what was important to me in this stage of life). My older child attends a different daycare that does NOT take infants, so I was just biding my time until we could get into there and I'm glad we came out of this (relatively) unscathed. I truly believe that if feedback is taken, these improvements are relatively easy and doable to make this a great environment for students, staff and parents alike.

My son has been coming here for a year. The atmosphere is ok. My son is 3 and is still with the 2 year Olds and that curriculum because the school says he is not potty trained. You are lucky to get art work or a daily sheet. They put other childrens diapers and clothes on your child. Ivonne, Chrystal and Mary are nice. The director Janet is a liar. Janet called me saying my son has a thick green runny nose with blood in it. He was fine when I dropped him at school. I pick him up and his nose is bone dry. He is Not sick and he can't return to school for 48 hours. I am perplexed. Your child deserves better. I do not recommend this school!
Hunter loves all the ladies there and has completely transformed as part of being part of his class. Ms Ivonne is a lifesaver! Love you guys ü•∞
Good and affordable care for our daughter. The teacher Ms. Crystal is so nice and helped with potty training tremendously. And they don’t have many closings throughout the year so working parents can feel confident that the daycare is open for when they need it!
My little one has been going to this center for months now and i'm very happy with her care. The director and assistant director are amazing and so helpful. The teachers are wonderful as well. Very pleased!!
I'm very pleased because my son's teacher (Ms. Crystal/Krystal) is wonderful and patient. He potty trained quickly and comes home with same dry clothes most of the time. I'm very thankful for the entire staff for there friendliness and mostly I'm thankful because they are doing a great job with my child because I'm not called off work because they can't handle any behavior issues that come up. This childcare is wonderful!!!!
this place is AMAZING! my son was used to being taken care of by family and I was very afraid he wouldn't like it, but he loves it, he actually cries when we pick him up! the staff is amazing, so sweet and loving! I know he is very well taken care off
This place used to be something else, but now its called Global Learning Center. Our toddler and infant are very happy here, and the staff is awesome. Very satisfied.
