We have had an absolutely wonderful experience with this school. The teachers and staff are so well organized and you can tell they truly care about the kids. The school is clean. The facilities (green turf space in the middle of the school, playground, classrooms) are well-laid out. The curriculum keeps the students entertained with quality lessons. The Gingerbread team has helped immensely with potty training as well. Our child comes home happy and smiling and is always telling us how much he loves his teachers. I enjoy that they use an app to communicate with parents which notifies you in a manner similar to a text message. It’s a lot easier to see immediately versus email communication. We have felt safe bringing our child here from day one and feel honored to have found a school that cares about him and his growth/development as much as we do.

Our family had a great experience here . My son is way more advanced than he was prior to starting . Their staff is very attentive and compassionate towards the children. It's a very safe environment and the kids actually do activities and learn and get an education while they are their . I notice the bad reviews about here mention that they send kids home . Here's the reality, if your child gets sent home it's for the better and you need to take your ego out of it . They will be welcomed back tomorrow. Discipline your child, talk with them and organize a plan of action with the very understanding staff about what's best for them. I would 10/10 recommend this place if you're lucky enough to get in . We have loved our experience at Gingerbread Bardmoor! My family recognizes all of the staff and teachers at the school; they have taught our son so much and love him like we do ❤️ thank you for help with potty training, social skills, duties, etc! We know our son is always in good hands at Gingerbread!

Very poor experience with administration and owner here.

Terrible owner kicks you out instead of owning up to mistakes. My daughter had an accident and was left in urine-soaked clothes for at least three hours, through lunch and nap time. Her shoes were also soaked to the point her toes were pruned. The staff never noticed. I arrived early for pickup and changed her myself, then I told them. The substitute teacher's response was "sorry that happened." The director suggested I email the owner, who responded by kicking us out of daycare and blaming my three year old for not telling the sub. There have been other subs who do not know where my daughter was when I arrived for pickup. ETA: I will not be removing, this review is relevant, as it's the same owner that excuses poor care across your multiple locations. Perhaps if you were to actually apologize for the mistake instead of blaming my then three years old, I would consider removing. Best of luck, Susan.

As our journey with Gingerbread comes to an end this summer, it seems only right that I leave a review of our experience with Gingerbread Starkey location. My son attended an in-home daycare until the age of two. I was very nervous to put him into a school with some of the horrid things you see on the news about daycares. I could not say enough good things about this school. They really put my mind at ease immediately. All of the classrooms are locked and secured. The whole facility is gated. The teachers and office staff have been nothing short of amazing to us and our family. Everyone knows my son’s name there. He feels safe. He looks forward to going every single day. Every teacher we ever had there was fantastic. We have met a lot of friends over the years, myself included in some of the staff. We have been there from age 2-5 and just graduated VPK last week. He scored in the 97th percentile in the country on his VPK testing, and I owe that all to Ms. Ashley. She is so kind, so compassionate, so patient. My son is absolutely devastated to have to leave her as we embark on kindergarten this upcoming school year. The office staff has gone over and above for us. They communicate well. They always answer the phones and are always in the office to answer any questions you may have. I have loved our last few years we’ve shared with our Gingerbread family, and I would recommend ten times over to anyone I know. If and when we have another child, we will most certainly be back. 🫶🏼

Gingerbread is a great preschool and has a wonderful staff. All of the teachers including the directors have a love and compassion for their job and the children like no other. The classrooms are full of amazing learning tools, toys, and are spacious. I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested in a positive learning environment. Hands down-5 stars!
