Author: Kareem Yorke Rating: 5/5 Date: 10/16/2024, 4:01:49 PM Review: This school is amazing. The Teachers work really close with the children. I have two children going here and my son learnt to spell his name in the very first week he started. The directors are very understanding aswel and will work with you through any situation. Might I also add that this is a Christian school and my babies learning about God in school too!

Love my children school
I'm writing this review as a warning to other parents: avoid family center international academy at all costs. My experience has been nothing short of alarming. MAJOR CONCERNS Lack of Accountability: My child's shoes constantly go missing, and staff seems unconcerned. Neglectful Care: On multiple occasions, my son was sent home with no diaper on. Unacceptable! Poor Communication: Staff fails to inform me about daily activities, meals, or any issues. Unsatisfactory Nutrition: I've caught them serving unhealthy snacks, and my child often comes home hungry. Security and Transparency: They refuse to let me walk through the facility to see where my child sleeps or plays. While the school's efforts in toilet training are appreciated, I've noticed disturbing behavior in my child Inappropriate self-touching and exploration. Inserting items into private areas. As a parent, it's disturbing to think that my child's basic needs aren't being met. The fact that they can't ensure my child's shoes are safe or that he's sent home with a diaper on is appalling.
I absolutely love my daughter's teacher Ms.Lugo! My daughter is 5 and going to elementary school this August. Ms. Lugo has been nothing short of amazing. My daughter can read, write, and do simple addition and subtraction. She treats my daughter just as I would. I wish more teachers were like her. This school wouldn't be amazing if she wasn't there. She teaches VPK children 1st & Second Grade curriculum, which is amazing. My daughter will definitely be pushed forward grades due to what she learned from her teacher Ms.Lugo. She's simply amazing!!
What a great school! I thank God that my brother had an opportunity to be part of the school.
