Author: Ben Wayne Rating: 1/5 Date: 1/29/2025, 4:42:46 PM Review: The sign says Christian School but the experience is far from. We have had multiple of our children here for the last 8 years (and I attended as well as a child) and the steady demise of this school is not something I want to witness or put my children through. While the teachers seem to be okay, the administration is a joke and have gotten so money hungry. Just in the last 5 years alone our tuition has gone from around $10,000 to $15,000 accompanied by a massive decline in quality for education. This school is not what it used to be or anywhere what it was when I was a kid here and it's quite sad to witness. Your child will learn to memorize bible verses, but not actually understand them and will make friends... but ECS doesn't have much to offer outside of that. The current lower school principal is non responsive and angry all the time, and the headmaster doesn't care for problems at the school to be solved.. just that more money is coming in. This breaks my heart to write this as I dreamed of my children all graduating from here as I did, but unfortunately this has turned into a very expensive not well run public school situation. If you're reading this, I would strongly advise you to send your child to literally any other school in lee county. ----- Author: Robert Gonzalez Rating: 1/5 Date: 4/20/2024, 1:54:53 AM Review: Very Christian school they say. But their varsity baseball team has players calling the opponent the N word after a game. ----- Author: Holly Ortiz Rating: 1/5 Date: 12/5/2023, 6:36:42 PM Review: Sadly, not the Christian school I thought would be beneficial for teens. This school has turned their backs on multiple youths and my child who needed the love of God the most, during their most difficult times. We expected grace and help but instead we left knowing the true definition of rejection and hypocrisy. They look the other away for other children because it benefit the schools financial needs. And knowing our personal business is being share by staff to others is what hurts the most. Never been more disappointed with a Christian community like I am with this school. ----- Author: Ashley Loebs Rating: 5/5 Date: 11/11/2023, 11:21:07 AM Review: Cannot say enough things positive about Evangelical Christian School. ECS provides a amazing curriculum that is faith based and challenges our daughter to be the best she can be, and fosters a great environment for her to flourish. I recommend this school to all. She is in 2nd grade and comes home every day saying she loves school and all her friends and teachers. Thank you ECS for being for providing a great learning experience for her. ----- Author: Taylor Stevenson Rating: 5/5 Date: 7/8/2023, 11:47:00 AM Review: Highly impressed by this school and the focus on kids, education, Christianity, and safety!

Good football team my team lost to them
Traumatizing experience of private school. My son is in first grade, 6 years old. He is a hyper little boy but any time he made a mistake it was an automatic suspension by the second week of school. This is not a child who is purposely hurting people or being violent, but as many people warned me their expectations for little kids is extreme. 6 years old and instead of disciplining a child, putting them in detention where they can understand the conveniences they automatically suspend them after they have been in trouble more than twice. Kids cannot be kids, there is no room for error. This broke my heart believing this was a faith based school and that thinking he would have teachers that would help him succeed in life. If you have a child that has any sort of lack of focus, is working on behaviors, or is less than perfect in a classroom setting I highly recommend READ THE HANDBOOK before enrolling in this school. The merit system seems great for children who understand it. But for elementary students learning a classroom setting and rules it can be a parents worst nightmare.
Too much homework do not send your kid here
