Mariah and my 12 yr old chihuahua Roxie have made an incredible bond. We are so happy to have someone like her that can control and not be intimidated by my sweet little Roxie. They are also boarding my other dog Bingo. We feel so blessed to have a place that we can bring them to when we need to travel. Mariah has kept us informed & sent us pictures every day. She has really got a special gift for taking care of our fur babies.

It’s not just doggy daycare…it’s a 5-star -adventure-experience for your dog! One day soon, I’m telling you right now, this place is going to blow up and go viral. From day one, I knew this was the place for my boy Mr. Fiji. The energy, the love, the way they treat each pup like a VIP—it’s unmatched. They host the most adorable, fun events (YES, actual themed parties for dogs!), and they make every dog and human feel so special. And each event and holiday more memorable 💕😭🙏🏼Just look at these pics of Fiji living his best life at their events and during daycare! Mariah deserves all the clout—her passion, creativity, and genuine love for the dogs shines every single time. She has gone above and beyond to make every visit special. Her passion, creativity, and attention to detail (especially with the events!) truly stand out. Gabby, the amazing owner, has created something truly special here—safe, loving, and full of joy. And the rest of the crew—Manny, Myla, and Jasmine—are just as incredible. Fiji is so excited each time one of them greets him. He knows what time it is the second we’re coming over the bridge - essential paws pawty time 🤣😎 Every team member makes it feel like family (actually, better than family—because I trust them with Fiji more than I trust my own family!). I’m so glad I ever found out about this place, my cousin recommended it years ago about being a “bougie but decent pricing fun place for dogs” definitely lives up to its reputation

Max and Zimmy love it there. They’re seasonal pups from Dec-March. I swear they know they’re going as we pull into town! The staff is great and very hands on playing with them and making sure everyone is safe. We also have boarded them for long weekends and they seem to love that too! Kudos to Essential Paws for running a great doggy resort & spa!

Essential Paws Island Resort has been a god send for me and my German Shepherd, Zola. I sold my house in Delaware and we are moving onto a boat that is not quite liveable at this time. After days on the road and many hotel stays, we are still in a hotel for a couple of weeks more until we can move aboard and head out. Essential Paws has provided Zola with a place to go and play while I am doing boat work. This consistency has been a key to both of our sanity. She comes home happy and exhausted. We can just snuggle up and relax. I do not know what we would do without this great team at Essential Paws. 10/10!!

Our experience is always the same our dog receives excellent care and the staff is professional and knowledgeable! I highly recommend essential paws!

Brought my two pups here and it was not a good experience!!! They went there 2 days in a row the first day was the test day to see if the pups would pass and they did and the second day they only gave my pups a bath and no hair cuts they still charged me over 300 dollars that was an expensive bath!!! They should have not charged me that much! I do not recommend this place! Definitely find somewhere else to take your pups.
