However at some point they have to transition and that is where we really started to see our son was a number to them and not an actual kid. He didn’t have any developmental skills developed to go along with most of the class and he was pushed onwards anyways. The biggest issue being he was 11/12 months and they were trying to get him to one nap a day. This created chaos on his sleep schedule and patterns so much so that it opened him up to developing pneumonia from either a super mild cold or just teething drainage within two weeks of being in the new room. I had tried time and time again to discuss this with them to see if we could come up with a transition phase longer than the four days they expected him to suddenly eat and sleep on their schedule versus the schedule he had before. Only one day did they sort of accommodate my request. Otherwise they couldn’t be bothered and didn’t care how tired or miserable my son was from the too long awake windows (5-6 hours). We have pulled him out and working to get him recovered from the pneumonia- just wanted to let other families know of our experience in case it helps them from befalling our fate!

The facility and staff far exceeded my expectations and my son had a great summer! His teacher Kate was never seen without a smile on her face and such a pleasant demeanor about her. Both of the ladies up front were always welcoming and professional along with prompt in answering all of my questions or concerns. My son participated in many field trips which I felt safe and secure with him attended along with countless different activities put together by the camp during regular days. When I first enrolled my daughter, Jaysie, I was extremely nervous as a first-time mom and I would call every day. Most of the staff handled my hypersensitivity pretty well, but Brittany went above and beyond to reassure me and always promptly address all my inquiries. Her genuine attitude, honesty, and understanding as to my position really made me feel comfortable. Rachel is great at managing the staff and is truly devoted to providing a safe and fun environment for all the children. Jaysie is a little shy and timid, but her confidence has grown leaps and bounds since attending Discovery Point. Jaysie started in the Beginners class and has transitioned to Toddlers. When Jaysie moved to toddlers, everything really fell into place shortly thereafter. The education here is top notch. In toddlers, I started noticing Jaysie advancing, reaching her milestones, and learning something new everyday. Ms. Blanca and Lauren are simply amazing with the children. It is all about learning, building confidence, working together, and there is always a positive atmosphere. I couldn't ask for a better team to entrust with my daughter and I will continue to recommend them to other parents.

We have two girls there almost 2 and just turned three, they’ve both been there since they were 6 months old. We absolutely love all the staff. They know our girls personally and it is apparent during our conversations. Ms. Blanca has been absolutely amazing. She literally is the one who helped us figure out our oldest had lactose sensitivities after months of discomfort. I highly recommend them for everyone!

The staff and caregivers are great, and our little one is always happy there. It's a wonderful place for kids to learn and play. It has be convenient for us.
we had to move to lutz area right before the start of school year and unfortunately this move have had left my little one behind, who was suppose to start VPK..Two of the assigned elementary schools were full and almost all nearby daycare's wasn't willing to enroll just for state funded program but for full day program and demanded to pay $900 - $1000 due to limited seats, except for Discovery point at Lutz Lake Fern road. Firstly We were greeted by Rachel Lewis (genuine smile- hard to find these days) and right at that moment we had to witness her help out a sick kid who literally threw up very close to her, with no hesitation but utmost kindness and care. No second thoughts, we immediately realized it was the place for us as it explained the atmosphere very well. When I had to explain that I am waiting on confirmation back from my employer about the relocation and remote job, she made arrangements to hold the free spot for us and bank check (in lieu of non refundable enrollment fees) not to be enchased and apparently she confirmed our seat the same day. Secondly, when my kid was suppose to start the following Monday, she unfortunately developed some skin infection and therefore we had to hold her back for more than couple weeks. and then when she almost recovered, my worst fear had come true and my employer revoked the privilege of working remotely and they demanded me to be onsite. Therefore finally we had to make a conscious decision to withdraw her enrollment.. while I was very embarrassed initially to have this conveyed despite all that they did to us, Rachel still treated me with same respect and had the owner write a check for $150, (non refundable fee ) and immediately withdrew her from ELC portal without redeeming the state voucher even for the days she was supposed to be attending. Once again they proved they weren't just running a business but a genuine day care filled with empathy, true compassion, love, and most importantly commitment to value families and their circumstances. we would definitely miss them for sure and highly recommend this place with more than a 5 star rating...Our Sincere thanks and appreciation to miss Rachel Lewis..

We have had an amazing experience here for the past 4 years! The teachers and staff are absolutely fantastic. Both my kids have food allergies and the staff/teachers have always been very accommodating, considerate, and extremely supportive. They never hesitate to go the extra mile to keep you informed. This place is wonderful!
My son Lucas has been there for close to a year and very happy with his progress and all the attention from there staff. They go above and beyond continuously. Awesome job !
