Author: Jillian Gutierrez Rating: 1/5 Date: 10/28/2024, 12:37:08 PM Review: As a new parent, in a new city, all you can ask for from a daycare is that they keep your child safe and take care of them. My son started in the infant room at 3 months old. The first day my husband picked him up, no one identified who he was nor stopped him and handed him over our child. At this point, I had been the sole source of communication between the school and our family, so no one from the daycare had met my husband. To us, this set off major red flags as we had been told their security was “top notch”. We had a conversation with Debra the director who continually gaslit us into thinking we were overreacting new parents. We ended up having a meeting with her and the owner to address our concerns the biggest of which were identifying people coming into the daycare by “catching” the door and if their blue doors locked. We were informed the blue doors had the capability of locking, which was a lie as the locking mechanism was removed, and they were upgrading their front door keypad. Fast forward to our son being 9 months old, my husband picked him up from daycare only to discover when he got home that our son had not eaten one of his bottles. We addressed this with Debra and per her investigation, there was a new morning teacher who had essentially missed a bottle and there was no excuse for it. She stated she educated her team to ensure that all bottles would be fed and if one was remaining to address it with the parents. Also, she and the other front desk person would check the refrigerator at 4pm to ensure all bottles had been fed according to baby’s schedule. Within a week, my husband discovered another bottle had been missed. Again we spoke with Debra and she told my husband that we should start weaning our child off his bottles because he’s almost 10 months old. He decided to address the new morning teacher directly and she told him that our son had slept through his bottle and asked if we wanted to wake him up to feed him. We don’t want his sleep interrupted but feed him when he wakes up. A baby’s schedule isn’t always set in stone and the teachers should simply adjust feeding times that day instead of skipping a whole meal. Our initial room teachers, Ms T and Ms D were incredible and loved our son as much as we did. They were the only reason we stayed as long as we did. We are absolutely distraught over the lack of concern or compassion from Debra. We had so much hope and faith in a system that has failed us and we desperately wanted it to work with this school. Until Ms Debra leaves this facility, we will never return and neither should any other parent. ----- Author: Andrew Halsema Rating: 5/5 Date: 8/16/2023, 5:16:29 PM Review: Our family has been with Creative World for 2.5 years and both of our young children love it. Our youngest is in the infant room and loves his teachers, reaching for them and smiling when we drop off. Ms. T & Ms. D are wonderful and took great care of our first child as well while she was in the infant room. Ms. Robin was a new face for us when our youngest started the infant room this year, but she is equally as wonderful as Ms. T & Ms. D. She's always smiling and telling us about our baby's day at pick up. The sweetest infant teachers!

Does this day care follow a specific curriculum?

Yes

Several reviews highlight a themed monthly curriculum.

We have two kids here and we are still in awe of all that they do, as well as how they support the parents/guardians. Ms. Deb and Ms. Sam have been a part of a few ‘incidents’ with our kids – everything from biting to bee stings. They’ve always communicated things very quickly with us and we never questioned the attention our kids received. We frequently ask for impromptu updates on both our kids, and Ms. Deb and Ms. Sam are always ‘in the know’ – it’s very reassuring. In our two years here, we’ve only had one real concern, and it was promptly and seriously addressed by Ms. Deb and ownership, leaving us feeling comfortable to remain at the daycare without worry. The teachers are all so loving and kind, and we’re always so impressed that they know the names and personalities of students that are in other classes as well. Additionally, the curriculum is super creative. There is a new theme every month, and the kids really get into it. We love the balance of learning and fun here. These kids are all leaving SUPER prepared for kindergarten. There really is a community feel here for the kids and parents. CW Riverview hosts a lot of parent-connection opportunities and fun event as well (progress meetings, fall festival, oooey gooey night, etc.), which we appreciate. Lifelong friendships are being built here – the kids are super close and, selfishly, we have found some of our best friends here in the other parents. We can remember feeling like choosing a daycare was so overwhelming and nerve wrecking, but we wish we could go back in time and reassure ourselves in the early days that we made the right choice – we can’t say enough good things about CW! ----- Author: ViAnna Pineda Rating: 5/5 Date: 9/13/2024, 5:35:19 AM Review: Creative World has been one of the best decisions we made for our daughter!! She was never a fan of going to daycare, but this facility has certain changed that. Their curriculum is well designed where we have watched our child enjoy learning new things every month, and apply what she has learned to everyday activities at home. The entire staff is engaged with the children, keeping you informed of how well your child is doing, and where they could use a little more help to master a skill. They listen to any concern you may have and address them with all the resources they have. It has been amazing watching my daughter grow since starting here. I cannot recommend this place enough!! Thank you CW and we can’t wait to see how much our daughter continues to grow with you!! ----- Author: Gunce Malan Rating: 5/5 Date: 9/28/2023, 1:25:56 PM Review: Amazing teachers and attentive staff members that are ready to care for our little ones everyday. Love the curriculum and variety of events scheduled throughout the year. It is also a great bonus to have their chef-made food options that help little ones try new food.

Almost 3 weeks I inquired about whether there was an opening for a 3 year old. I took a walk through and was told that I need to wait a week until the Director gets back. I received no phone call the following week so I followed up myself. I spoke with Director who stated that she had just gotten back from vacation and did not know at the time whether there was a opening but that she would call me by the end of the week. Monday comes and I received no call. I called and spoke with the Director again who said that she still had no idea if she had availability! She offered to call back in an hour. It was more like 3 hours and when she called back she still had no idea what her available capacity was and she's the Director! She said she would call me back. Again I waited. I called on Wednesday and she was a bit all over the place. Ultimately, she was not able to accept my child which is fine but if she had a better understanding of running her school this information would have been made available almost three weeks ago. Poor excuse for a Director. She should be replaced! No follow-up nor follow through with inquisitions and doesn't know her school’s capacity!

Creative World’s level of care, safety, and attention is above many of the daycares we have been to in the area. I love that every month our child gets to focus on a theme and interact with professions/characters. He always comes home talking about a fun activity. Thank you for nurturing our child!
