Best of both worlds; sweet and nurturing but still manage to produce academically advanced kids. Having my child “graduate” from here was one of the saddest things. I will always love and miss creativa ❤️ ----- Author: Frankie Franklin Rating: 5/5 Date: 6/5/2021, 12:33:11 AM Review: This school is the absolute best in the area. The director/owner (Mrs. Say), Assistant (Ms. Diana) & my daughters teacher (Ms. Priscilla) ALWAYS made sure that my daughter felt secure, loved and happy which to me is the basis for a great learning environment. My daughter has excelled so much in Creativa. She is graduating next week and knows her continents, planets, addition, subtraction, phonics, writes her name and so much more... To say the least their curriculum is amazing. There’s also an in house chef that cooks for the children twice a day. Which has encouraged my little one to expand her palate. Always a plus! On holidays they set up the most thoughtful events that all the children enjoy with cameos from Santa, the Easter bunny & even go as far as arranging an Art Gala for the kids so they can display their artwork for donations. They are in CONSTANT communication with parents. You can call at anytime and they are always happy to not only answer your questions but genuinely help you with anything and everything. My daughter has a mind of her own & her teacher Ms. Priscilla is the absolute best with her. Instead of making her feel out of place, Ms. Priscilla always found a way to guide and teach her. I will forever be grateful to her for providing a memorable first learning experience for Sophia. To say the least, I will miss this school and I recommend it to all parents looking for something special for their children. ----- Author: Milton Diaz Rating: 5/5 Date: 6/3/2021, 6:57:42 PM Review: This school is a hidden gem. My first daughter attended this school 9 years ago when it first opened. The school and staff are pretty much the same. The owner is always there she is attentive and has a passion for education. There is so much love in this school. Our son attends there and the quality is still the same. He loves going to school each day. He has progressed so much academically (after falling behind through COVID) with there curriculum that he is Kindergarten ready. Your child is not a number in this school they are loved and known by all staff. We are grateful to this school and know you will love it if you are a part of the Creativa Family.

This is review is not with intent to bash on this business. It’s more to share my own personal experience with the business and if you are in a similar situation to save you some heartache and some headaches. I have a three year old that has speech delay. He has been in speech therapy as well as ABA therapy to help with tantrums due to his lack of verbal communication. For sometime the therapists have suggested on putting him in school for a few hours. (He was there for 3/4 hours tops) After much searching and attempting to find a good school that will allow him to attend school with his RBT we finally came across Creativa. Looking back they were red flags that as a mother I should’ve picked up based on the conversations but I really believed with a chance we could’ve gone a long way. The director was very kind and seems as she wanted to help. She did say they had other therapist already working there and that at times it gets crowded so she had her reservations but that she was willing to try. When we spoke again after the initial visit we talked over the phone and she said she still had her doubts because when we visited she explained her teachers were concerned my son didn’t want to be part of the class. This should’ve been my second red flag but I explained well my son has never been part of a school setting, he was there with my husband and therapist and all his interest at the moment were all the toys and new stuff around him. She said well we can do a trial period and see how he adjust, to this I agreed although my own therapist was concerned because she said I’m not sure if they understand how it works when a child with delays that has never been in school setting works but we will try anyways. The end goal for all of was for my son to incorporate into the classroom as the other kids but we new this was going to be a challenge and it would take time as this was new for him and the rest of the students had been there for way longer period. The school gave my son ONE week. (At this moment I would like to point out as adults when you start a new job you get a three month period for the sake of employee and employer to adjust) I would also like to point this is a private business and they are in their right to refuse to take him. In my personal opinion I feel the teachers didn’t have the intention to help my son or have the patience to give him the proper time to incorporate into the classroom. The therapist said he had incidents with three separate kids in which she was present for and avoided from escalating but when the director spoke to us she told us our son was aggressive to the other kids and therefore couldn’t stay. According to my therapist the three incidents were very child driving and not with malicious intent. Wanting something from another kid ect… The teachers didn’t really engage with the therapist and specially from the helper she got comments that were always negative as saying the other kids were way too advanced for my son. This type of comments happened multiple times. I’ve spoken to many professionals, teacher as well as family and friends about our experiences and we can all agree that unfortunately the intent to want to help just wasn’t there. Again this is private business and they have no obligation and maybe they were happy with having their class running smooth and my son was just added work they weren’t willing to take on. I want to point that the therapist being a shadow for my son was suppose to alleviate some of the burden for the teachers. As a mother this was a difficult experience but my only take away from this, was to take your time to finding the proper people and proper school willing to go beyond for the needs of your kid. A Montessori school owner, gave me this words of consolation; kids need time, there’s kid that cry for months there’s kids that adjust right away. All kids are different and we talk about inclusion but sometimes certain schools fall short. The point is private doesn’t always mean better do your search and take your time.

THE BEST! We are so incredibly lucky to have both of our children be part of the Creativa family. The love, compassion, dedication, and respect this school provides is like no other. The teachers are phenomenal, front desk staff are a pleasure and Mrs. Say (principal/owner) is truly one-of-a-kind. They are all very dedicated to our children and provide outstanding education & a place to feel safe & loved. Not to mention, they have home cooked meals most of the time! We are so very blessed to have found this true gem!

Creativa Academy is a wonderful school. I have two children and have had them enrolled since 18 months. The teachers are all so helpful, caring, and truly enjoy what they do. I have great communication with each of their teachers daily. My children have learned so much and have advanced tremendously in their speech, daily and social life. I am so happy with this school. And I couldn't even begin to say how amazing the Principal is. She wears her heart on her sleeve. I just hope I can find a school for my kids after VPK that is just as amazing as this one.

Sarcastic front desk lady. Can't understand how school owner have employeed someone like this lady. Non empathic at all, if you need and are looking the best place to put your child together with an RBT, she will say yes, then will show you a full list that classess don't have the capacity to accept it. For me, sarcastic plus unrespectfull the way she shows like it's a joke for her telling you yes and then no. Really bad first impression that do not corresponds with the positive reviews and recommendations received.

Creativa Academy is more than a school it makes you feel like you never left home. All the staff from the director to the teachers, receptionists are all very kind, affectionate and careful with the children and everyone who enters the school. I had the opportunity to have my oldest son here a few years ago and there was no doubt in my mind and heart that it was the best place for my youngest child to attend. We love Creativa Academy. Children have fun and learn with all the activities that are lovingly planned for them. They definitely educate, teach and take care of the children with passion. Every day that my child goes there I feel at ease that he will be happy and well. Thank you Ms.Say and all your staff for everything you do for the children. God bless your life and your family so that you can continue taking care of the children with the love that you do.
