CCC is 5 stars! My family has been at CCC for the last 3 years (our 2 boys have both gone through the 3s class and VPK) we love and adore this school so much. Every teacher (Ms Goldfarb, Ms Morris, Ms Meredy, Ms Jessie and Ms Kelsey) and the directors Ms Katie and Ms Heather are all absolutely incredible. I truly drop my boys off and never worry, knowing that they are getting the best care from real moms who have been in the community for years. 1 100% would recommend this school to anyone looking for a smaller tight knit school to help their kids transition with socialization and to get ready for kindergarten!
Christian Child Center was the perfect transition for us as a “mommy’s morning out” setting. Our daughter adores her teachers, and they care for her like one of their own; always keeping us updated with her progress and how she did that day. They go the extra mile to make each child feel safe and comfortable in their class, and we can tell by how excited she is to go to preschool! The directors take parent and teacher concerns seriously, and bearing that in mind, I would be hesitant to trust a review that insinuates something different. If you could use a few hours a week to run errands or do chores kid free, your child couldn’t be in better hands here!
I do not recommend this school. No one should have to pick up their child at school sobbing and saying the teacher hit her and on top of that having the director saying nothing happened. Do your research and listen to your children.
A school that feels like home! We are so proud to be part of the CCC family. My kids thrive there and are taught and nurtured by incredible teachers.
Since 2017 all three of my children have attended CCC. The staff and teachers are incredibly caring and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure a loving, safe and nurturing environment. Most importantly, my children were always excited for school each morning, thanks to the CCC family. We are so thankful to have found CCC.
CCC is one of the best long-standing preschools there is! Caring teachers, wonderful families, and an awesome director!
It is with a heavy heart that I write this review. As a parent I feel the need to give others a heads up. While no place is perfect, there has been a significant and steady decline in morale and positive leadership at CCC: All of my kids have attended this school until we sadly decided to leave in Dec 2023. I genuinely hope that some changes are made because CCC has some of the BEST families I have ever met and some great and loving teachers. I won’t get into the details of our situation but I have talked with many other parents who have also noticed some patterns of behavior particularly from the director, Katie Chrisien. Currently, there is a troubling absence of open, compassionate communication with parents.  Katie likes to brush concerns away with apathy or gaslighting. There is zero effort made towards growth or problem solving. Katie Chrisien is known to minimize or flat out dismiss valid parent concerns or turn a concern around and point a finger at the child instead of looking for a collaborative solution. There needs to be better documentation of attendance and incidents as well as a system of checks and balances both for accountability and protection of students and teachers. Physical injuries should be documented and communicated to the parent. I am a super involved parent. I care very deeply for my children and I know that most teachers are angels on this earth. At the same time, I am very vigilant in making sure my kids are safe both physically and emotionally. My advice to any parent is to listen to your intuition, listen to your child. Don’t ever hesitate to do what is best for them. Walk your baby to their classroom door on the first day or any day they need you to.
Really bad that I don't know why they live now put people in a new place
It is a great school otherwise, but I have to write this which was long due. We registered our som when he was 2.5 years old into their 2s. His teacher Ms. Lee Ann was super amazing and patient. She knew how to be patient with kids. Our son then moved to 3s and with a new session came a new teacher Ms. Jenny. My son was barely into the new class and first day she expected a very disciplined three year old. Came many red flags from the school stating our kid has Sensory processing disorder according to them. They also suspended a barely three year old from school for a week. How ruthless that was? How can a child understand what suspension is? This was not the Right approach. I pulled my son out of that school. My son goes to another school and doesnt have sensory processing issues. He is just a high energy kid. A child should be given some time to warm up and adjust in new surroundings. If a teacher cannot handle such kids who are a little more challenging than the rest then they shouldn’t even become a teacher. Ms. Jenny and the school certainly disappointed us. Let the kids breathe. Let them be children because they grow fast. Dont expect a three year old to sit still and do nothing and dont expect all kids to behave in one measuring yardstick. He is a normal kid who just needed a welcoming and a patient teacher and he would have learnt with time to behave.
