My child has been attending Children’s Nest for 2 years now. I don’t even know where to start. Mrs. Niki is truly a Gem. She is kind and respectful. My Child has had the opportunity to interact and be cared for by all of the staff. Everyone is always so understanding and kind to him. The entire facility is clean and the rooms are well decorated and colorful. You can tell Mrs. Niki and the staff take pride in the center. They provide hot food for the children and have awesome events throughout the year. Thank you Ms. Grace, Ms. Tree, Ms Anita, Ms. Amber, Ms. Reva and everyone for being so welcoming, kind and patient.
If I could put negative ten stars I would. We sent our daughter to this school and every week she would come home sick which resulted in repeated absences and visits to the doctor to be nursed back to health - rinse, repeat. They would then contact us to say come for our daughter she has a fever in the middle of the day with no acknowledgement that the logistics of leaving work and going home with zero notice wasn't practical. Ultimately, we asked if during the Christmas holidays we could keep her home away from that diseased vector - sanitation and ventilation are abysmal so once a kid inevitably catches something, they all do. We were told no because she wasn't there for 6 months yet so we could not have a 'vacation' i.e. temporarily pause attendance/payments. We then asked if we could simply pull her out and re-register in two weeks - mind you, we and our daughter needed a break from her constant sickness/health cycle and we were told yes, that's not a problem. This morning we were informed our daughter has been kicked out the daycare and our account deactivated, two days before Christmas with zero notice and paltry excuses about us not bringing diapers when asked (they sent a message last Wednesday evening via online account which was missed - normally the afternoon caretaker tells me and I provide for the next day), and we not promptly collecting our daughter when they said she was sick the previous week. A normal daycare with consideration would establish a quarantine area with a reasonable timeframe for collection; however, this is not a normal daycare. It is obviously run by dishonorable, apathetic, mercenary individuals who have neither care or concern for your child, they just want your cash. To be fair they were reasonable in waiting for our daughter to commence attendance beginning of September but since then it has been a slow descent into deterioration of service, and antagonism of concerned parents. I was thoroughly dissatisfied each evening being given a snotty nosed child to take home, the least you could do is wipe her face with the wipes I provided. My wife was disturbed how each morning you placing our sleepy child on a nasty pillow, where is the staff and facility for intake at 7:30 am? DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE, SEEK ALTERNATIVES.
I LOVE this daycare!!! I have only one child first time mom seeking a trustworthy daycare for my baby who has only ever been watched by family. i endlessly toured daycares and the moment i came here it just felt right, you can tell kids come there and feel loved! The director miss niki and ALL of the staff is OUTSTANDING. My child is with the 1yo class yet ALL of the staff loves on and knows my child. My baby is facing difficult times with drop off and yesterday i over heard her teacher miss Lupe singing to her just to soothe her (AMAZING). When i say the staff is just amazing i love it and plan to have my daughter here as she grows! They also have many events to help get parents involved. Props to miss nikki and ALL staff for being so kind and appreciative and also taking the time to make sure my child feels safe and loved. cant thank you guys enough!!!
We Love the staff and especially the Director Ms. Nikki! They truly teach the kids and are always hosting family events to keep the parents involved.
I absolutely loved children’s nest. All of the teachers are so kind & genuinely loved my son like their own even through hard obstacles they still managed to show up everyday. I’ll always be grateful for Ms. Niki & all the teachers there. The only thing I regret is not finding them sooner.
No way would I enroll my children here based on the attitude I just received by someone who works here. I am new to at a job and I was confused about where the trash went at my new job. That said I saw a dumpster that, for what I thought was a part of the company's lot. It wasn’t, but instead of handling in a professional manner, I was basically yelled at, and the perception given was with attitude, impatience, and belittled. Maybe the person had a long day, was getting ready to go home for the day, or maybe it was something else….IDK. In my opinion someone that educates children should be da lot more patient, understanding, and helpful. Character is how we treat others when there is nothing to gain. Being polite to strangers should be the norm, unfortunately in today’s world that is no longer the case.
This school is full of excellent staff and caring teachers. They go out of their way to make the students and parents comfortable and happy. On top of that, they give them an excellent education. I will be coming back with my daughter when she is ready for VPK after having such an incredible experience. Miss Nikki and Miss Amber specifically were incredibly attentive and caring towards my son here. They made me feel like I left him with family. The whole staff makes you feel that way. It’s always clean, supportive, and full of love. I’m an extremely happy parent.
As a concerned parent navigating a new area, choosing the right daycare for my son was a top priority. After careful consideration, I am delighted to say that I made the perfect choice with Children Nest (Temple Terrace). From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was met with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff's commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment is evident in every interaction. Their genuine care for the children is truly heartwarming. The transition for my son into this new setting has been remarkably smooth, largely thanks to the dedicated team at Children Nest. Their expertise in child development is evident, and they go above and beyond to ensure each child's unique needs are met. It's been such a relief to see my son thriving and happy in their care. Thank you Ms. Niki & Staff!!!
Children Nest became our family from the moment we walk in we knew we had pick the right place for our daughter to attend VPK . Ms Niki does an amazing job as the director her communication was top notch from day one and we became really closed with her and her staff . My daughter had the privilege to attend Ms Amber class and what can I say going from at home daycare to a new school wasn’t as hard thanks to Amber she took care of our baby girl as her own . Her love and caring to all her kids was exceptional no doubts she loves what she do and enjoys her day surrounded by their cute little faces . I wanted to thank children’s nest for getting my daughter ready for kindergarten she is definitely putting into work everything she Learned including giving back to other kids the kindness and love just as she received at children’s nest .I hope the same staff still around for the upcoming years would love to have my future kids attend here as well .
My son went to Children’s Nest from June 2022-July 2023 and I can’t rave enough about the school, the teachers, the director and the love that is in that building. My child came from a home daycare, so I was extremely nervous for a bigger setting. Children’s Nest was truly a God send for my son and I. Ms. Amber, Ms. Tati and Ms. Reba were his teachers and we love them! They made learning so much fun and poured so much love into the kids. The communication at the school is top tier no matter who the teacher is. We received daily photos and updates about the class activities in GroupMe. If he had a stomachache or he hurt his knee at the playground, I was informed about it immediately. Ms. Nikki is an amazing director. She pours so much into the kids and her teachers. She knows the kids so well even though is she not in the classroom which lets me know she is in tune with what’s going on at the school. The events that she organizes (VPK Prom, Trunk or Treat, VPK field trips, etc) were so much fun and I can’t thank her enough. Ms. Caroline, Ms. Grace, Ms. Bre, Ms. Tree, Ms. Anita and Ms. H all greeted my son by name and had a great relationship with him. Children’s Nest is a loving family friendly school where you can trust that your child is in great hands ❤️.
