I went to Headstart at Children First when I was three and I had the best teacher, Miss Maria Morcia. Thank you Miss Maria for your love and caring personality. ❤️ I will always remember you.
My one-year-old son goes to the North Port facility and he absolutely loves it. He is eager to get out of my arms and into the arms of the women that take care of him there which speaks volumes. They keep in close contact with me regarding him and are so loving, caring, kind and helpful.
I have had all three of my children go through the Children First program from infancy to VPK. I have 2 still currently in the program (one is a toddler and the other is in VPK). Throughout the years, this is the center I always send family, friends, and anyone who asks for recommendations on a place to bring their child too. I briefly had my son in the YMCA for the summer before he went to kindergarten and I will forever prefer Children First over any other center. My children were always changed and clean upon picking them up, the teachers are kind, caring and loving. They are willing to help with any issues I have had in the past and accommodated my sons therapies in the most convenient ways for me. My children recieved two meals a day and then a snack in the afternoons. They are provided with an age appropriate and exciting curriculum that truly challenges their growth and development. I have seen my children grow so much with the help of the teachers and staff at this center. Not only have they been amazing to my children, but also to my family. The family advocates have always gone above and beyond to help my family when we were in need. Two times in the past eight years that my children have attended this program, I have hit hard time financially and had no where else to turn. The family advocates helped me to find community services that helped me get back on my feet and kept a roof over my family's head. They are always there for support and work alongside families to change their positions in life. If you need help going back to school, looking for a new job or if you need help when life unexpected knocks you down, they are there to help pick up the pieces and build you back up. I owe much of my family's success and well being to the amazing teachers and staff through this program and I can never thank them enough for what they have done for my family.
