Author: Becka Schlim Rating: 1/5 Date: 8/28/2023, 5:11:31 PM Review: We had a horrible experience with this facility. From the beginning of my pregnancy we were looking for daycares because we knew how congested the area is and wanted to make sure we had a plan since we both work full time jobs. Upon our initial walk through with the facility we loved it, we felt welcomed, the building looked cleaned and the workers were kind and seemed knowledgeable. That day we put a deposit down and were told that the next availability was August 2023 (this was in November 2022), we were due February 2023 but decided that we liked the place and figured out how to make it work tell August. We paid our deposit and we’re told that we would hear from someone when it got closer for an exact date. Fast forward to July (we have been in contact with them several times with doctors forms, and paperwork to fill out for military assistance) we still have not heard from anyone. So I called to request information on my daughter start date. When I gave my name to the assistant director she sounded startled and put me on a long hold. When she popped back on she told me she had no record of my daughter and asked who I originally spoke with. When I told her someone by the name of “Tessa” signed us up. She said this was an old director that had issues with the company and left abruptly, and that she had entered several kids in wrong and that they didn’t have space at the daycare for these kids any longer. After hearing this I decided to head directly to the daycare to straighten this out. We already paid a deposit and have been waiting for this spot for months. After arriving I was greeted by the heavily pregnant assistant director. She went back and spoke with someone and they managed to squeeze us in starting the middle of August. She told us “well I’ll have 6 weeks to figure out daycare”, seems odd my child who has been on this list for months doesn’t have a spot, but her child who has not been born is going to give us her spot, and say that that is for our convenience. Already uncomfortable and down to the wire we accept because we literally have no other option. The week before we are set to start my husband, daughter and I drive down to the daycare to meet the teachers and tour as encouraged when we initially signed up. When we got there we were now greeted by the director Vicky. She asked who we were, after telling her my daughters name she said “oh you are those people” then proceeded to act like we were causing a huge disruption to her day. (Mind you my daughter is 6 months old and this is the infant class) she takes me to the room and says that we can’t enter, she calls over a teacher to speak with us, while constantly checking her watch, huffing and puffing, wresting with paperwork and throwing her hands up in the air every time we had a question. She did not once acknowledge my daughter, or welcome us at all. We felt completely uncomfortable the entire time. At the end of us asking our questions to the teachers, the director wanted to give us a PSA tho , that this facility gets hand foot and mouth often and that when she gets it because she will, that we have to keep her out until the “blisters have popped and the puss scabs over”. My husband and I got in the car and decided that it would be abuse if we sent our child to this facility and decided to figure it out ourselves. Thanks for nothing. This is an absolutely horrible establishment.

My daughter attended summer of 2021-fall of 2023. The one and two year old class rooms were good. But when she transferred to the 3s, it was severely downhill. My daughter didn’t want to go to school anymore. I go off early one day and went to pick her up about an hour past nap, she was still laying on her cot, she was potty trained- but covered in poop and pee….. when I was changing her in from of the teacher, she seemed completely unbothered. I asked for immediate transfer to a different classroom from the director, Jennifer. She was moved, but a couple weeks later that teacher disappeared and she was back with the previous one without any communication from the school to me. I witnessed teachers yelling at the 3 year olds, and being degrading. She came home daily covered in fire ant bites. I called a daycare she was on a waitlist for and fortunately they got me in immediately when I told them I couldn’t bare leaving my child at this school anymore. I have taken far too long to write this review, I’m not sure if it has changed since. But please beware, there are much better daycares with teachers that genuinely care for your children. Keep searching.
My 3 child come here they are great my child love to go on there, and they love the teachers ❤️ i don't have any complaints
My three kids goes here and they are amazing. They love to see their teachers and Directors, they always have so much fun. Thank you for all the job you guys do.
My oldest son has been going to this daycare since 2019 and my 2 other kids have been going since they turned 6 weeks old. I have always been either a full-time employee or a full-time student. I have trusted this facility with the care of my children, and I haven't had a negative experience with them in the 5 years my children have been going here. As with most childcare centers, there is almost always a conflict among children, and I believe that it is handled efficiently and with care. I love the staff here and the app that allows me to get real time updates about my kids and photos of them as well.
**TW CHILD ABUSE** My 3-year-old son went to this daycare center from November 2022-March 2023. He didn’t have many issues with his teachers and other classmates aside from the occasional meltdown that all toddlers are prone to. A few weeks after getting a new teacher, Miss Camiyah, he started to complain of her being too rough with him. He said that she yanked his arm when he wasn’t listening to her. A couple of days later, he told me Miss Camiyah picked him up by his ear and dragged him to the other room by his ear, while digging her fingernail into it. I immediately called the daycare and made these concerns known to the school director, Jennifer. I was obviously livid, but all I asked was that he be moved to another Childcare Network location (in Niceville). I didn’t trust the child-abusing Miss Camiyah after that, and my son developed serious anxiety about being dropped off at the Fort Walton Beach location, because he thought he would be abused again. Jennifer was less than helpful about working with us to find new placement for my son. She claimed they would investigate the matter (they did not) and that they would do everything in their power to find a solution for us. After trying for a few weeks to coordinate a transfer with her, she ended up being very condescending and combative, and it was clear that she had no intentions of helping us find a spot at the Niceville location, nor was she concerned with the fact that she employed a woman who had no qualms about putting her hands on someone else’s child. From what I understand, Miss Camiyah still works at the Fort Walton Beach location. I also tried reaching out to corporate about our situation, but I guess they wanted to sweep this matter under the rug as well, because they did not call or email me back. In addition to the physical abuse, I can count on one hand the number of times I entered the building and DIDN’T hear one of the teachers screaming at the children. This place is a circus, and I wouldn’t trust any of these women around my goldfish, let alone my son. Unless you want to risk having your child being physically and emotionally abused by the CRIMINALS they apparently hire, I highly suggest finding another daycare.

We recently moved to Gulf Breeze and were looking for a good place for our grandson. We were even willing to drive 50 minutes one way as long as he was provided good care. This however is one of the worst I've experienced. My husband and I have 4 kids together that ante now grown. Our grandson now makes the 5th time of having to seek child care for little ones. The unprofessionalism of the Director and the assistant, Jennifer are unreal. Do your research before you select this facility. It won't take much for you to experience the same. I could fill this up with the different reasons from our first hand experience and watch the auto reply that they reply with, but that's not the point. The point is to warn you to tour and really research before you select this daycare at this location.
