Author: Deborah Azevedo (DeborahA) Rating: 1/5 Date: 4/4/2025, 11:11:36 PM Review: I’ve waited over a year since we left to post my honest review. I finally decided I don’t want to stay quiet because I want other newborn parents to know my experience and make their own decision one whether they feel comfortable trusting busy bees with their babies. I cannot express how disappointed I am with Busy Bees Daycare. From the very beginning, the experience was a constant source of stress and frustration. My baby was just 4 months old, so of course, we wanted to check in often and hear about her day. But every time we messaged, the teachers acted annoyed and barely provided any information. When we asked about her nap schedule or how she was doing, the responses were minimal at best. It was clear that communication was a huge issue. We had multiple discussions with the director, who promised improvements that never materialized. The miscommunication between the director and the infant class teachers was beyond frustrating. On top of that, they mix infants, 1-year-olds, and 2-year-olds in the same class, which meant my baby wasn’t getting the structure she needed. She wasn’t napping properly, and despite multiple meetings to address our concerns, nothing changed. The daycare itself is cluttered and disorganized. It’s evident that the director is overwhelmed and understaffed, which only adds to the overall stress. Two specific incidents stand out as absolutely horrible. First, my baby was sent home with a burp cloth still inside her pajamas, and when I picked her up, the teachers acted as if it was no big deal. To make matters worse, they woke her up during nap time to take her out of the crib. When I mentioned this to them, they brushed it off. Second, my baby would come home with awful neck and diaper rashes, sometimes only being changed 3 times during her 9am-5:30pm day. It was heartbreaking to see her in discomfort, and the lack of proper care was inexcusable. She would also have poop in her private parts as they were not wiping her properly. The final straw came when the teachers confronted my husband and told us not to go to the director with any complaints but to address them directly with the teachers. This only added to the growing sense that we couldn’t trust them. One morning, I woke up with a horrible feeling in my stomach, and after some thought, I realized I no longer felt comfortable leaving my baby there. Thankfully, we found a new daycare that has been like night and day compared to Busy Bees. In summary, I would never, ever bring my baby back to Busy Bees, and I would strongly advise against the infant class for anyone else. The lack of care, poor communication, and general neglect were simply unacceptable.

My visit to Busy Bees Academy left me with mixed feelings. While the director was warm and welcoming, there were aspects of the school that gave me pause. The director's office, though welcoming, appeared cluttered and disorganized, raising concerns about overall school management. Unfortunately, this lack of organization extended throughout the school. Every wall was adorned with artwork and school projects, which, while commendable in moderation, created a visually overwhelming environment. It felt as though the school was understaffed, with little separation between age groups and activities. Despite the chaos inside, the outdoor space was a saving grace, with a clean playground and ample toys for children to enjoy. However, the lack of security measures, such as cameras outside the building and ID checks for visitors, was concerning.Overall, while Busy Bees Academy may offer affordability and engaging activities for children, the overwhelming clutter and lack of cleanliness detract from its appeal. There is a need for significant improvements in organization and cleanliness to create a more conducive learning environment.

My son has been going here for a year now, and he’s grown so much. The teachers are very attentive, present and patient. Ms Rheka and Ms Hina are the absolute best! I love all the activities that are well thought out and all the fun events they put on with the children. My son is always happy walking in and out of school. It’s a very clean environment. Ms Harvinder truly cares for her school. All the teachers are a testament to her leading.

Busy Bees is truly a gem! As a parent, it was incredibly reassuring to know that my children were in such a nurturing and educational environment every day. The daycare is led by a fantastic director who clearly cares deeply about the well-being and development of each child. Her warmth and dedication set the tone for the entire center. The teachers at Busy Bees are exceptional. They go above and beyond to create a safe, loving, and stimulating environment. It's clear that they love what they do, and their passion for teaching shines through in every interaction. My children learned so much there—from basic academics to social skills and creative expression. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to be both engaging and educational, ensuring that children are not only prepared for school but also for life. One of the things that truly sets Busy Bees apart is the sense of family that the teachers foster. Over time, they became like extended family to us, always ready with a smile, a hug, or a word of encouragement. They celebrate each child's milestones as if they were their own, which means the world to us as parents. Busy Bees is more than just a daycare—it's a community that nurtures, educates, and loves. I can't recommend it highly enough to any parent looking for a place where their child will thrive. 4o
