So originally I had enrolled in building block at the beginning of 2022, there was prior director whom I felt had a certain gentleness when we originally enrolled our then 3 year old. However, Ms. Kira had taken over and did not get the warmth like I did with the other lady. All seemed fine until I started to receive a few notes about my rumbustious boy when he got to Ms. Paulo class and everything changed. Ms. Kira had complained so many times about my son, but Ms. Tiffany would reassure us that he behaved okay, nothing out of the norm. Ms. Tiffany late left and we were heart broken. I had calls and meeting about my son running in class, and how they put him into a safe place. For some reason, my son did not take to Ms. Kira, but he loved Ms. Paulo. They said how much he was out of control and did not behave well and the complains increased at the end of year 2023. I was called to pick him up the first time because they said he apparently hit Miss Paulo, so I scolded him as usual and took him home. The second time Ms. Kira called to tell me to pick him up because he apparently spit at Ms. Paulo. I was shocked, I told them he never does that, and Ms. Kira responded " My teachers do not come to school to get spit at." I wanted to speak with my son, and I asked him directly how he spat, and he blew a raspberry. I told Ms. Kira that spitting is not the same as Raspberry but she insist it was. After the third call to pick him up from the school, I felt the school did not want him there any longer and they would not be treating him fair so I pulled him out. I enrolled him into a new school thinking my son would behave poorly, and was scared of receiving any bad phone calls, but I can tell that the teachers loved and wanted him there. Fast forward to my kindergarten son, I am now learning things that happened in Building Blocks school. I am ashamed of how I did not listen to him but quickly took their sides instead of trying to get him to open up. He still speaks about Ms. Paulo and his best friend and he still ask me, to this day, why Ms. Paulo does not like him, but gives the other kids hug even when he was a good boy. I remembered of an incident that happened when I visited a Mother's day brunch at the school and I know he was telling the truth. My son told me 2 days ago how they would put him in the corner and then Ms. Paulo would tell the entire class to turn and look at him, I would assume that this was a tactic done to embarrass him. The level of sadness he has when we are in the Chic- fil -A line; he still wishes he could go back to the school, but feels he was not a good boy. I am not sure how my son managed to remember these things, but I finally reassured him, after two years, that he is a good boy, they did not treat him nice there. My mom called them incompetent the day I took him out and I can now say that this is a correct statement. I can make a significant comparison with the staff at the other Pre school and, now, the staff in Kindergarten.

We are extremely pleased with our children's experience at Building Blocks School. The pedagogical team demonstrates exceptional affection and care, creating a safe and stimulating environment for children. The teachers are highly dedicated and attentive, adapting their methodologies to meet the individual needs of each student. My children love their teachers, they have a personalized approach and this has been fundamental for our children's academic and emotional development. The school's leadership, represented by Ms Kira and Ms. Alejandra, ensures that the institution operates efficiently and harmoniously. They maintain open communication with parents, actively involving us in the educational process. We recommend the Coconut Creek Building blocks School to all parents looking for an excellent education, where love, care and attention are priorities in the development of their children.

Our son attended BBLC from the age of 1 until the completion of VPK. We started out at the Hillsboro location (first year) and then moved to this BBLC for the 2nd through 5th year. We have nothing but great experiences to share. The environment is nice, friendly, welcoming. The staff is amazing. The teachers are superb! Our son made great memories and friendships that we will always cherish! The only downside to our BBLC journey is that they have set the bar really high, it is hard to match the standards they have set. Now that our son has moved on to kindergarten at the local public school, we have noticed just how hard the teachers worked to get the students above grade level. Our son is finding kindergarten easy and the transition became easier, he began the school year already comfortable with the material being taught and ahead of his grade level. Thank you BBLC for a great 5 year journey. We were recommended BBLC and we will now pass on the recommendations to our family and friends!

Es un colegio lleno de aprendizaje, mi hija va a cumplir 2 años y he visto muchos cambios en ella, tanto en pintar hablar y jugar, las maestras son atentas y aplicadas a los niños, encantado de tener a mi hija acá.
