Author: Haydeen and Maleia Alvarez Rating: 1/5 Date: 9/19/2024, 11:52:27 PM Review: Department of Children and Families (DCF) confirmed 2 violations within my 14-month-old case. On Aug 29th, my husband informed Melissa (the supervisor) that our son came home with a minor diaper rash. She nonchalantly informed my husband they had more than enough supplies from us. Later that afternoon, my son came home BLEEDING with a diaper rash so severe, HIS SKIN PEELED OFF TO ITS WHITE MEAT. For 4 days, he CRIED in pain, every time he attempted to sit, lay on his back or have a bowel movement. Upon seeking clarification from the daycare, I was informed he came home “fine” with NO rash. Thankfully I took pictures as evidence (capturing the date and time) which was shortly after picking him up (as reflected on their camera footage). During the process of receiving clarification, Berlin (General Manager) repeatedly told me I’d better not push her in corner, it’s the last thing I’d want to do! As a result, this facility received 2 violations from DCF - negligence with diapering and failure to provide sign out sheets for dismissal. To this day, no accountability has been taken from the staff members. They wouldn’t even inform me who watched my child that day. Although every experience is different, I’d be remiss if I didn’t expose the treatment my son received. ***Parents there are other daycares out there with similar tuition and better quality.

I am so blessed and feel very grateful since i have chosen this school for my little boy. He will be happily graduating this year and my little girl will be attending soon and i must say that Ms.Melissa has always gone above and beyond whenever i have had any questions or concerns and she is always so kind and super supportive and sweet. The school is so clean and beautifully decorated as always and especially on special occasions. Ms.Emily, Ms.Shirley and Ms.Stephanie are constantly spoken about as soon as my little boy gets home from school and i just feel so lucky and safe that my little boy loves the staff and school so much. He feels happy, nurtured, loved, and safe. And that means everything to me. My heart goes to the staff and school and i truly have nothing but positive things to say. I highly recommend this school. Beautiful, nurturing environment and i cannot express the high level of respect that i always receive. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
i started my daughter here for the 2024 VPK school year and from day 1 it was nothing but problems. My daughter has never been in a school setting before and was a little overwhelmed coming in with all the kids and everything going on. It was all new for her. They called me EVERY SINGLE day to complain about my daughter that she was behind and acting out in the classroom. Causing me Immense stress, i had to leave work multiple times to get her. They have very young girls in the classrooms working as teachers for 20+ kids .. My daughter came home with cracked bleeding lips because they were not giving her her water cup and didnt even bother calling me to tell me her lips were like that, i had to see when i picked her up. Its like they didnt even notice until i got there. After me expressing my concerns and opening up to miss melissa about whats going on with my daughter she insisted that my daughter might have autism and that i should get her evaluated. After reading another moms review of her saying pretty much the same thing, i had to write a review because thats just insane. I pulled her out of the school thinking she has more underlying issues going on that was "too much" for this school ..I ended up getting her evaluated twice thinking im taking a " professionals" opinion and turns out she is completely fine and is excelling in her new school with ZERO problems. I felt like my child was pushed out and not wanted. Think twice before picking this school for your kids
My daughter was previously attending a different school, but we transferred her to Boca Preschool and she loves it. The staff there is incredibly caring and loving.
I highly recommend Boca Raton Preschool! My family has had an incredible experience with this school. Both of my daughters attended the VPK program here and thrived under the care and guidance of the talented teachers and staff. Now, my 3-year-old son is enrolled here, and he absolutely loves it! The teachers are warm, nurturing, and create a safe and engaging environment that fosters learning and growth. The school's curriculum is well-rounded, and I've seen my children develop essential skills in literacy, numeracy, socialization, and emotional intelligence. If you're looking for a trustworthy, reputable, and nurturing daycare and preschool, look no further! Boca Raton preschool is an exceptional choice, and I feel grateful to have found such a wonderful place for my children to grow and thrive. Rating: 5/5 stars
I am beyond grateful for the care and attention my daughter receives at this daycare. My daughter started attending when she was six months old and there is no where else I would ever take her. I can see how much she enjoys her time here—she's excited every day to go in and see her teachers and play! The staff is so kind, always makes sure she feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Ms. Melissa, Ms. Mabel, and Ms. Glennys are incredible and I am so thankful to them for always putting a smile on my little girls face. As a first time mom it has been such a relief knowing she's in such great hands. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a supportive and caring environment for their child!
The staff is amazing!!! They are SO warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. I have always felt hesitant when it comes to daycare/childcare and soon after meeting the Director and having the tour of the daycare, I was sold! My 20 month old walks in without even looking back at me - that says a lot! I would strongly recommend to anyone seeking a great daycare. :)
This is one of the best schools my children have ever been at. Staff is super nice, caring, and attentive. Putting my 4 month old in the care of someone else is already stressful, Ms.Melissa especially made the transition a breeze. Every concern is taken serious and handled right then and there. I wish I would’ve found this school years ago.
My daughter has attending this school since she was 1 years old. she is now 3 she has learned so much . she know speaks two languages English and Spanish. the staff is amazing especially Ms.Melissa . they have gained my trust and became family over the years . they are amazing with the kids .it gives me peace knowing my child is in good hands . I highly recommend this school to any parent seeking good child care .
This daycare needs proper training with young children with better staff that actually, likes taking care of children! None of the teachers speak English, so there's zero communication you will have unless you're Spanish-speaking, which I'm sure they prefer.. there are no daily updates. You don't even get to drop your child off to their classroom. You have no idea what or when your child's is eating, sleeping , and if they are learning. Ms. Melissa is a very dishonest person. She's the only person you are going to speak to because she's the only one that speaks english and she pretends to know what's going on with every child. She's lied to my face several times regarding my son. She tried to insinuate my son has ADD. Shame on you. You have no medical license to give anyone that kind of information. She's super rude and argumentative. She raises her voice at you when she's talking to a parent. Let's just imagine how she speaks to the children if she can't hold a proper conversation with a parent without raising her voice. The director is a bit more professional. But she has melissa's back, so nothing was ever done once I did complain. They used to send one picture once a month. Just think about that one picture of your child that was your update and communication between teacher and parent. Then they decided after several parents complaining that one picture once a week was better communication.. LOL... On top of the pictures they were sending of my son. He was crying and upset in the background several times, like he was being singled out all the time. Just think as a teacher. If you have a child crying, would you take a picture, or would you attend to the child? I think my child was so emotionally neglected by these people based on his behavior while at this daycare. My son spent over 2 years at this daycare. He was reacting in so many negative different ways. Now that he's been out of that daycare. Everything has improved dramatically, and It's only been a month and a half! Scary to imagine what else they were doing to my child. My pediatrician recommended the change after she heard everything! Now, that's a medical opinion that I will take! All this facility cares about getting the money to care for the children! They never had my son's best interest, and in hindsight, I should have moved him a lot sooner. Parents beware of these people. After seeing how a professional daycare runs, these people should be ashamed of the kind of daycare they are running. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. Do better boca raton preschool!
Very negligent, scary, borderline abusive. Reported them, hopefully they’ll be investigated soon. beware
