Author: Heather Venutolo Rating: 5/5 Date: 12/29/2023, 5:55:55 PM Review: We put our little boy in at 6 months. He started in their first infant room where they were so gentle yet still very involved in his learning and development even at such a young age. When he started in the infant 2 class, they helped us through getting him to try baby food which was a struggle for us. He is now in the first toddler room and at first, he was not able to walk on his own so I was a bit nervous but they were so sweet making sure he was safe. Now he walks all over the place and plays with his friends- some who he has been with in the first infant class. Now he is eating all kinds of food and being taught all different things from sensory to physical. I love getting all the updates and photos throughout the day of him having fun and what he learned in class. His teachers have all communicated together throughout his transition into each classroom which I think is an amazing aspect of the staff there. Everyone says hi to him when we walk in and he loves going to see his friends and teachers. I absolutely look forward to our son’s growth with Big Blue Marble Academy! ----- Author: Gabrielly Padilla Rating: 5/5 Date: 9/20/2023, 11:04:54 AM Review: My son its in infants II and he really loves it, his teachers are a plus. ❤️

Author: Kady Garcia Rating: 2/5 Date: 3/3/2025, 10:46:11 PM Review: We made the decision to withdraw our son mid-year from their VPK program, and after seeing the positive change in him since the move, I feel it's important to speak up. The biggest concern was the nap time policy. My five-year-old son, like many kids his age, simply does not need to nap for two hours during the middle of the day. Forcing a group of 5-year-olds to lie still and quiet for such a long period was unreasonable. The teachers were constantly complaining about his inability to stay still during nap time, but he's a five-year-old child with a natural need for movement and activity. There was no alternative for him—no quiet play, no option to read or do something else. Instead, he was repeatedly told to close his eyes and lie still, even when he expressed he didn’t want to sleep. My son was also treated poorly by the staff. He confided in me that the front desk worker once entered the classroom, squeezed his arms tightly, and told him to close his eyes. This behavior was troubling, and when I raised the concern with the director, I felt dismissed. The response I received was unsatisfactory, with the director asking for specific dates to review camera footage, which, as a parent of a five-year-old, is impossible to provide. Children at 5 have no concept of time. If she truly cared she would have looked into the last two weeks of footage during nap time to see when this incident occurred. Specially, since my son gave specific details about one teacher being out sick and the other one eating a bathroom break. The director did not offer any genuine concern or attempt to resolve the issue, which left me feeling like my child’s well-being was not being taken seriously. A mom of another child at the daycare also shared troubling concerns, telling me that her daughter was not allowed to leave her cot to use the bathroom. A staff member also mentioned that the teachers were running a tight ship, forcing kids to stay still and silent on their beds during nap time, creating an environment where children felt uncomfortable. My son’s behavior and increasing tantrums became a red flag, prompting me to seek therapy. The therapist quickly pointed out that it might not be my son’s behavior that was the problem, but the environment at school. It was clear that my son was feeling insecure and uncomfortable in a setting that was not nurturing or understanding of his needs. When I finally found another daycare, one that doesn’t have nap in their curriculum. After just one day at the new school, he expressed how much he loved it and even said, He said something impactful. In His exact words he said “you know, mommy at my other school they had a whiteboard that they used to write kids names on it, here we have a blackboard for chalk and we use it to learn numbers” His statement made it CLEAR how much he was missing out on and the negative environment that he was in.My son cried in the car every day after school when I picked him up (I guess he was releasing all those emotions and anger he was bottling in). Other parents have shared similar concerns about the daycare, and it’s important to recognize that not all kids can voice their discomfort. If your child starts showing new or negative behaviors, take the time to listen. One parent mentioned witnessing a teacher speaking poorly about an autistic child, saying she wasn’t trained to handle him. Several others have also expressed concerns about the teacher’s lack of patience and constant complaining. While resources may be limited, caring for the children should always be a priority in creating a positive learning environment. I leave 2 stars because this is not how this was when I first visited. I decided to enroll him here because It felt like the right place, but I have no idea what has happened in the last few months And they should really Reassess. One of the red flags I missed was them giving incentives to parents for leaving positive reviews. People should want to leave reviews because they feel like the place deserves it. ----- Author: Alicia Parks Rating: 5/5 Date: 9/19/2024, 12:55:57 PM Review: Both my Kids started at BBM after a nightmare of an experience at a near by daycare. My son as ASD && they accepted him and my daughter with open and welcome Arms . The accommodations my son had (toddler 3’s) being able to work with his ABA therapist daily and having his teachers recognize and work with him as well filled My heart with joy that he was learning and growing with his classmates . My daughter absolutely loves her teachers in the toddler 1’s/ 2’s . All the teachers she’s has thus far are so loving && I can tell she loves to be with them. The center is very active with activities: extra curriculums && events (book fairs , lemonade sales , parent night etc) this is my children’s 3rd daycare and I could’ve have found one better . Mrs Santiago says Good morning / have a great day EVERY morning . The staff is wonderful all the way down to the cook in the kitchen . Such a great center your kids will love it here just as much if not more then you will. ----- Author: Allyson Harrelson Rating: 5/5 Date: 12/29/2023, 6:11:04 PM Review: I have two children that attend; one in Pre-K and also in the two year old room. Both have attended the school since infancy, and I couldn’t be happier. The teachers absolutely adore and love on each and every one of the kids, and I trust them implicitly. Front office administration is open, and communication is a top priority. I drop them off every single day knowing they’re in the very best hands. The curriculum and rotations are wonderful for early childhood development, and do an incredible job leading up to grade school. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better, safer place for my kids. We love Big Blue Marble Academy at Waterford Lakes! ----- Author: Arieliz Perez Rating: 5/5 Date: 3/24/2022, 12:12:47 PM Review: Exceptional care for kids. My kids have been here almost a year! I’m glad we’ve chosen this center. My now 4 y/o has learned so much and improved since he started VPK his scores are high. My now 2 y/o has learned a lot as well! All the teachers are caring and hands on. My kids are excited to go everyday. The front office staff are amazing and friendly. Always clean and every week it’s a different country/lesson throughout the building. Thank you all for making me feel comfortable and trustworthy with my babies.

My 2year old son loved this daycare! We took him here for a few months but unfortunately moved. He was so happy here and was always clean when I picked him up. You could tell his teachers really loved him! I liked that the class sizes weren’t out of control and how often we got updates on the app!

All the teachers, staff and principal are so amazing and truly care about the kids that attend. They know each one on a first name basis. My child loves to go there and I know she is so happy being with her friends. I think it’s amazing that they teach about different countries each month and have such great activities. My child has only been going since June and she has learned so much already I am so impressed! Definitely recommend BBMA!
I toured the school two weeks ago and was impressed how clean, secured and welcoming the atmosphere was. The classroom that I toured was well maintained, full of art work and the the teachers were all engaged. I enrolled right away and can't wait for my son to start!
My son attends Big Blue Marble Academy and loves loves loves his class. He is learning so much and is making alot of friends. The staff is awesome and the school is clean. We could not be any happier with Big Blue Marble Academy.
