As soon as you walk in the location feels clean and secure which is something we’ve struggled to find elsewhere. We’re so excited for our daughter to start in the infant room! ----- Author: T. Nicole Rating: 5/5 Date: 1/3/2024, 8:01:04 PM Review: Wonderful environment for my child who started in the infant room and has been here 2 years. The Director Ms. Jermekia and Ms. Nakita do very well communicating and are always willing to answer questions or help. My child looks forward to going to BBMA and asks to go when they are on holiday and sometimes on Saturdays. The teachers are attentive and keep things fun for the kids. I highly recommend BBMA. ----- Author: Monica Box Rating: 5/5 Date: 1/1/2024, 1:21:39 AM Review: My daughter has been going to this school since and infant and she is now 2. When I did a tour recently, they did not disappoint. Everything looked clean and organized. I love the curriculum that they offer and I’m excited for my little one to become a part of the BBM family. ----- Author: Dwayne Brown Rating: 5/5 Date: 12/29/2023, 9:43:51 PM Review: Short version: We are EXTREMELY happy with BBMA Apopka. Enrolling our 3 year old has turned out to be a great decision. Initially, we were worried that our toddler would have a hard time transitioning from the previous daycare because we had been there since the infant room (3 years). Those concerns went away before the end of the first week. Our kid loves going to "new school." The staff and teachers are always professional and friendly. They keep the children engaged with fun and educational activities every day. In addition to the pictures that we get through the app, the teacher sends home the activities at least once a week. This allows us to see what our child is learning and have meaningful conversations. Each month, there is a common theme that all class curriculums tie into. This information is shared with the parents, and there is even suggested supplemental reading based on your child's age. We bought the suggested book for December and after reading it, we realized that our 3 year old has been saying "Merry Christmas" in 3 languages! ----- Author: Nicole Johns Rating: 5/5 Date: 12/29/2023, 6:27:24 PM Review: The teachers and admin are fantastic! Our son has been a student since he was 6 weeks old and he is now almost 2. The classrooms are always clean and the teachers are always engaged. We love the curriculum and our arts and crafts projects we receive! ----- Author: Kirsten Rodriguez Rating: 5/5 Date: 12/29/2023, 6:27:20 PM Review: Great center, excellent curriculum, and caring staff. Sent both of my children here from infant to the after school program ----- Author: Orlon Vincent Rating: 5/5 Date: 11/3/2023, 3:13:35 AM Review: I took a tour of Big Blue Marble Academy Apopka for my 2 year old daughter and thought the place was a awesome fit for her. They have their own curriculum and they even teach your kids about others cultures and countries. They actually serve the children cooked food daily twice a day, not frozen food like some school cafeterias. The facility is also well organized and the the teachers even help potty train your toddlers. My daughter was very excited to be there and did not want to leave. I am looking forward to enrolling her.

Needed to find a better placement for my son and was pleasantly surprised. This facility checked off all of our boxes and am looking forward to a fresh start from a really poor experience from a well respected daycare.
I recently attended the tour for the summer camp to get more information, and I had a fantastic experience. Briana was incredibly kind and explained everything in detail, making sure to answer all my questions. She made me feel confident about the program. I’m excited to enroll my daughter in the summer camp.
Ms. Nakita gave a tour of the facility today and I was genuinely impressed. I’ve been looking for child care for a few months and this is the only one I didn’t have to think about. Thank you and we can’t wait to start
I enrolled my son here after doing a tour, he only attended here all of 5 weeks at most. I really wanted to like this school because of the convenience of their location, but in such a short amount of time there were just too many problems. When I toured there, I asked about pacifiers since my son had just turned 1 that same month and we hadn’t taken him off the pacifier yet. I was told “per DCF they’re actually not allowed to have pacifiers once they are moved up from the infant room” (since he was jointing the younger 1s class, he wouldn’t be able to have it. That was concerning but i figured we would just have to make it work like all these other parents do. We tried it for weeks, it was awful. I picked him early one day, during snack time, and the woman in the classroom next door (two’s class; middle aged spanish woman, medium length curly hair) was screaming at a boy in her class for not staying in his seat, in a way that is completely unacceptable to yell at ANY child. I went to the front desk after recording part of it on my phone to show the director, as this is completely unacceptable, and there was nobody at the desk, which seems to happen quite often. I did a whole around the building, even asked two other teachers who were in the hallway cleaning, and they didn’t know where she was either. The following week, I pick up my son and he has a bite mark on the back of his leg on his calf area, and this was no minor bite. I asked his teacher Ms Keke what happened, the skin was broke from this bite, her response was “wow I didn’t even see that. And that’s crazy because we don’t even have any biters in this class.” I said well clearly there is because he didn’t bite himself right there! She told me she would fill out an incident report and I could sign it in the next morning, which doesn’t make sense, because how do you file a report that you never witnessed or had any knowledge to until I SHOWED YOU?? I again grabbed my son and left the room, attempted to speak to the director again, and once again was unable to. The lead teacher for his class, Ms Jamie, does not get up from that chair, let me say EVERY morning that I dropped my son off, she was in that chair in her class, she does not greet you or your child, I would have to hand him over to her because he would be screaming and crying and she would hold him until I left the room and onto the floor he goes. I don’t expect anyone to hold him all day, but if you know he’s new here and drop off is rough, why not try to comfort him some?? Another morning I drop off, there two boys on the floor screaming and crying and she’s repeatedly telling them “you’re fine, stop crying” like she’s annoyed. There’s so much more I could add but this review is long enough. I made the decision to transfer schools, and it has been like night and day opposites. He’s no longer screaming at drop off. When I pick him up he’s happy and smiling, and not crying with his face covered in snot and boogers. He IS allowed to have his pacifier, and he’s actually excited for school when I drop him off now. Unfortunately the only good thing about this place was the location.
They take good care of my 3 month old. She’s always happy when I pick her up. They also took care of my then toddler she still talks about going to that school.i also love that they send updates via the app.
My son has been at BBMA for about 3-4 months now and I love the center. Being a first time mom, it was nerve wracking having to leave my baby in the care of others, but the staff is absolutely WONDERFUL. Ms. Cindy and Ms.Anna always greet my baby and care for him with love! In the afternoon he’s cared for by Yudilaidis and she’s also great! The staff always tells my son bye when he leaves and it just adds that special touch. I was recommended to take my son here by a coworker of mine and it was the best decision I ever made. I love that he’s also spoken to in Spanish so he can pick up some words and hopefully can be bilingual! My son is able to learn how to interact with other babies and I love getting updates through the day and photos! I also love that the center is so clean and organized! Best center hands down!
My baby has been there for a few days, and I'm glad I chose this daycare. I have the peace of mind they are taking a good care of him and he loves going there. You can tell how they love kids in general... Miss Cindy and Miss Ana are amazing!
Always a “good morning “ when you walk in the door, someone is always cleaning and the kids are always top priority.
I recommend Big Blue Marble Academy. The staff is friendly and my kid enjoys going there. They ask on Saturdays if they are going to school. I never hesitate to ask questions and I like what they are learning at BBMA.
