I live a block away and can hear dogs barking as I sit in my home. I feel sorry for the residents directly behind this disrespectful business. December 15th 2022 at 8:30am, sitting in my home and I can hear several dogs barking from that location a Block away. I would never trust this place with my pets. I feel sorry for the residents that live behind this place. There is no attempt at stopping the noise. May 31st 2022 and I can hear the dogs barking in my living room a block away. The lack of common decency is astounding. UPDATE: Nothing has been done to deal about the dogs barking at least 3-4 times a day.We can’t even enjoy the nice weather because all we hear is several dogs barking. I guess it’s time to start bringing this up at city meetings. As of 10-20-21 this is still going on, several dogs barking and can be heard a block away. Its obvious the owner of this place knows there is a problem but doesn’t care! The proof, owner responds to every review except this one. SITTING IN MY HOUSE AND ALL I CAN HEAR IS BARKING DOGS. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW DISRESPECTFUL YOU ARE TO THE HOME OWNERS DIRECTLY BEHIND YOU. There were several dogs all outside at the same time barking and only one person trying to manage them as she struggles with a leashed dog. You are directly in front of a neighborhood and should respect that. How would you feel hearing this every morning and or mid day? NOTHING DONE, YOU ARE A STAIN ON OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. HOPEFULLY WE CAN GET ENOUGH SIGNATURES TO FORCE YOU TO RELOCATE. UPDATE: 10-20-23 Was woke up this morning at 7:40am by barking dogs. Waited almost 3 months for an appt to get my dog seen by the mobile groomers. Understanding of the wait time still made the appt and waited the almost 3 months time frame. As the day of the appt finally arrives for my fur pups hair cut the mobile groomers after only 10 mins informs me that she can’t groom my dog due to his weight (105lbs). This is where I’m lost….this is not the first nor the second time my dog has been groomed by this company he’s been groomed a few times. They have all his information in there system including weight and his records from the vet. So for a grooming tech to come out to my home after months of waiting to just say “I can’t groom your dog due to his weight” is mind blowing to me. Also she didn’t even ask if I would mind helping or anything. Just straight up said I can’t do it due to his weight and I can’t lift him. Again his weight was known before even heading to our home for the appt. Then as I call to speak to the owner about the situation she was no help at all told me whatever her employee says she believes and then proceeded to be very rude. I couldn’t believe it a local business having such disrespect for its clients. We have a papillon and a frenchie mix, (our grand dog). They enjoy seeing Jessie and they come home smelling fresh and clean, and well groomed the way we’ve requested. She is great with them and they are ready for a nap when we get home after all the playing and romping around they do. The staff is always friendly and we can highly recommend Jessie for your pups grooming. We also very much appreciate the care and safety Barks and Rec takes making sure all the animals there are up to date with their vaccinations, healthy and safe to be around other dogs. Thank you Barks and Rec and Jessie for taking such great care of my fur babies. Laurie ----- Author: Patty S Rating: 5/5 Date: 9/13/2021, 1:27:21 PM Review: I needed someone to come to my house & bathe my dog. Recovering from surgery I could not do it myself. He's a smelly larger dog. When I called Barks & Recreation they were very accommodating & pleasant. I'm not sure if I'm spelling her name correctly, but Sydney took great care of my hyper Weimaraner/ Pit mix. She cleaned him, got his nails nice & smooth, cleaned his ears and tried to dry him...he did not like the blow dryer! LOL. The van was nice and clean. I love the fact that they require up to date vaccine verification. Keeping all the fur babies safe! He is happy & (not overly perfumed at all) just smells clean. He's prancing around in his new tie & feeling like a king! 5 stars fo sho!
