Head start program sent a bunny to greet the kids this morning. The school also gives away food and clothes to kids in need
Really bad communication for days out early, special events, vacation days off, and make up days for the working parents. They lack updates on the school schedules. I’ve emailed over and over again and received nothing or incorrect info. Not happy with baker at all..
Sharing my experience to HOPEFULLY encourage others to report any issues similar to mine as well. First and foremost I believe that an association that is SOLELY responsible for Charlotte counties VPK program should be much more cohesive with the information they give witin this same building and provide a pleasurable or atleast friendly experience since this is regarding some of our babies first year in school!!! To start I called several months ago when I had completed the application for VPK to ensure I had everything I needed to apply. At this time I was told I needed a certain form that unfortunately required an appointment that was almost 8 weeks out to schedule before submitting. So I set appointment.. Moving forward I called two weeks before school started to 1) let them know I had the appointment and 2) double check to make sure I could come any day with the paperwork. The lady who answered the phone told me 1) I did NOT need this form to submit the application and 2) they are now on a waiting list but encouraged me to come in the following day so she could help in this unfortunate circumstance, I told her I couldn't come until my day off which was the following Thursday. She said that was fine and to ask for her. I arrived that Thursday and was greeted with a very unfriendly staff that was short and impersonable. I showed them what I had however she advised me that one of the things I needed was not there. I asked if I could email her the paystub in the hopes she could print it for me that way I didn't have to delay this process any further. As expected she declined. I ran down the road which I told her I was doing and that I'd be right back, I print the paperwork and brought it back, no surprise here the lady left! When I came back another lady told me I needed ANOTHER paper that now 3 others told me I didn't need for the APPLICATION process. However she still accepted it. Moving forward Pat called on Friday to let me know she was reviewing the application but one of the pay portions needed to be refined a little bit for my husband. She asked me to send that paperwork by the end of that day so that she could review everything bright and early Monday morning. I drove home from Arcadia quickly to get this paperwork into her. I called her again on Monday morning to let her know there was a discrepancy in the amount and I needed to resubmit it which I did. After she processed the paperwork she left me a voicemail that unfortunately only recorded 20 seconds so I called back several times that day to hear what the message stated. Never answered my calls the rest of that day nor called me back so I followed up again on Tuesday again no answer no call back. On Tuesday I requested to speak to someone else and begun speaking with Lori Lori told me that Pat was out sick and to please call again on Wednesday if Pat wasn't back Lori was going to personally take it to a supervisor to look over the paperwork. Called wed. No answer from Lori, Pat still out. Thursday I called bright and early and asked for Lori Pat or a supervisor at this point. Lori picks up the phone and says she spoke with Pat. On her personal phone at home and was advised that all of my paperwork was in her personal office and she would process it when she got back. Unacceptable every single thing this place has done has delayed my daughter from starting school. So I spoke to Nikki the supervisor at this location that processes applications she assured me she would call me back around 12:30 to let me know what's happening with the application. Here we are at 3:10 p.m. and no call thus far again another let down again another false hope and again misinformation provided by this location.i am very tired of the lack of ownership, accountability and help!! I beyond disgusted with this school. Update: Nikki called me and is hoping I should have information by next week. Here's to hoping this information is accurate. I am pleased to see ownership here other than Pat who was wonderful!
My old preschool. Good times
Amazing staff ! Amazing school
My daughters absolutely enjoyed their time here. Unfourtantly we had to move out of state during the school year but the short amount of time spent here has impacted them and made a huge difference! Pre-K is so much more than just playing now a days kids are actually learning things that will carry on through out their learning years and I give all these wonderful teachers much credit for their love and patience for these little kids :)
