I’ve seen a teacher grabbing a 1 year old aggressively & couldn’t have my infant be around her (the teacher is now in the infant room). My son used to love school but suddenly started hyperventilating when I tried to take him into his new room (he loved his old teacher Ms. Irene). 10+ teachers & the assistant director all left within a month. You never know who is going to watch your child that day. The school is very pretty but a toxic place to take your child.don’t waste your money on the expensive tuition. Keep your child away from Jada She is NASTY and screams at children. She was the final straw. I talked to multiple teachers who left who all said she is horrible towards children. I spoke to another mom from my sons old class who said Jada is also why they left & like me ate the two week notice (paid it w/o coming back). She filled in my child’s room when another teacher left. I saw kids crying (including my own) who never cried before. My motherly instincts knew she was the problem ( my son would hide behind me when she saw her). I immediately took him out. Sadly, the director passed - hopefully the new director will clean it up. Edit: I reported Keshia, Debby and other teachers for child abuse (bc kids can’t speak up for themselves) & Laura didn’t do anything. There are 2 more of my sons old classmates joining his current school in Jan. I really hope for the children who are still there that they replace the bad teachers.

From the moment you walk in each staff member greets you and your children with a smile, a big hello and engages in conversation. It truly feels like family. Hands down Amazing Explorers has provided our children with the absolute best care. They embrace open communication with families and harness positive relationships between families, teachers and staff. The entire staff continues to build a loving, safe environment for my children. I especially love how the administrative staff and teachers are always working together. Their united team efforts shine through to our children. The school is modern, clean and organized. The teachers are absolutely incredible, well prepared, patient and kind. My son loves to go there! He learns a lot everyday including manners. It is definetly a fun, safe place for your child. The food is also good, with a different menu every week. She has attended other local schools so i feel confident in my comparison. I liked the other schools, but this school is WAY better in every way. Here are a few examples of why: The communication on the apps is updated super regularly (hourly even) with photos. I know what and where my child is at all times. The activities and learning that is taught daily is amazing. My daughter comes home talking about fossils and dinosaurs and all kinds of cool stuff. They do projects and science experiments. The staff and the schedule is SUPER organized from the front desk, the cleaners, the admins, helpers, to the teachers. Every day I'm greeted with a genuine happy smile and it seems that everyone there loves their job (which for me is very important). If the staff is happy and actually wants to be at work, they create a healthy happy environment. My childs teachers (Mrs. Nathalia & Ms. Jamesia) are WONDERFUL. They love the children, they take their jobs as educators seriously & passionately, and they are an absolute pleasure to speak to on a daily basis. They are not baby sitters, they are actual teachers. Which is NOT what i find in the other schools. My daughter even invited her teachers to her birthday party recently. The front desk Ms. Asha keeps her cool even in the most stressful situations and gets it all handled elegantly without skipping a beat. My daughter always speaks highly of Ms. Jackie as well. Ms. Davis, the school administrator, is always available when i need something or to clarify any questions or concerns i have. Ms. Gonzalez, the assistant admin, is so lovely and kind as well and always takes care of everything. I cant recommend them high enough. There was an incident at this school that involved a child from another class (which is normal, they are little kids). The entire staff handled it quickly & appropriately, and it was resolved to my satisfaction and it has not happened again. It gained them my trust to act appropriately in situations, and not do nothing (which i have seen frequently at other schools). I feel my daughter is VERY safe there (and no, i dont hear any noise when I'm out on the playground from the freeway LOL as another (negative) reviewer reported). There are 2 separate doors that you have to go through to access the classrooms, and they have always been locked since we started attending. My daughter is a "runner" and NEVER have i seen them propped open or unlocked (a negative reviewer claimed this). The (different) monthly focus about a topic is so fun for the kids, and they have learning events every few months on a Saturday with a bounce house and other stuff so the parents can meet, and they can see their friends outside of school. And to address a recent negative reviewer: And so what if the school has QR codes for parents to leave a review up in the hallways? Why does that deserve a negative review? I have closely read the negative comments people have left (its actually what prompted me to write this) and Im calling BS on them. The people who negatively commented fall into 3 groups. 1. Their kid never even attended the school (which is 2 of 6 negative reviews) 2. their kid is a troll who has no discipline at home, so why would they at school, and they hurt and/or disrupt other kids who are trying to learn, 3. They are simply Karens. The staff cares and it shows. My daughter enjoys waking up every morning to go learn & share a new adventure with her friends. Take a tour and see for yourself. I am so thankful I decided to have my little one attend Amazing Explorers Academy Windermere.

We chose for our child to attend this school, having the best experience with Ms. Helen Batie at her previous location, and the added benefit of proximity for our commute. The warmth and caring nature Ms. Helen brings with her is radiant throughout the school and reflects in all the teachers’ demeanors. There is an incredible level of comfort in leaving our son in Amazing Explorers’ capable hands with the added reassurance of having Ms. Helen at the helm. The communication with the parents is constant and incredibly informative. The program and curriculum at Amazing Explorers are as phenomenal as their staff. The hands-on approach to STEM, with even the youngest of students, is a fantastic advantage to an already great experience. The extracurricular activities throughout the year and the regular parades are outstanding. I love the fact that the teachers have built a curriculum and parents get a copy of it. Mrs Tasha, Brianna, Jackie and Maria are absolutely outstanding! My child has flourished during his time in this classroom. They plan a ton of activities and set boundaries any child should have! Overall with the school, I am concerned with the staffing shortages on occasion and turnover rate here. Mai Rating: 5/5 Date: 12/28/2022, 10:36:24 PM Review: My son has been attending AEA Windermere for a little over a year and I have been very pleased with the experience. While the school has faced some challenges with staffing (who hasn't since COVID?), I feel that my son is well cared for while he is there. The school is very clean compared to the other daycares I toured and every single teacher who works there knows my son by name, knows I am his parent, and smiles genuinely when they greet me. My two year old does not cry at drop off and loves his teachers and his friends. So much so that sometimes I have a difficult time convincing him to go home. I have a very difficult time believing the negative reviews here, because they do not align with my experience. Not even when it comes to injuries. My son was actually injured in class when he tripped over another child and fell awkwardly on his elbow. The way the staff handled it was highly professional. I received a call, a full write up of the incident, and they had the video up on the screen ready for me to watch before I even asked for it. It was clear from the video that the injury was accidental and no fault of the teachers, but I appreciated the proactive approach and transparency. They called to check on him as he stayed home to recover. Also, I've received a few calls when the teacher could tell that my son was not feeling well just from his mood, though he was not yet displaying any signs of illness. That is the sort of thing that can only be picked up by a teacher who takes the time to learn each child's temperament and is attuned to subtle changes. I have family members that would have missed these signs. On the developmental front, within months of starting at AEA, my son's vocabulary spiked, he learned all his colors, multiple animals, and how to count to 20. He wasn't even two at the time. This is all due to the curriculum and the genuine care of his teachers. I have referred several families to the daycare. One was on a waiting list in Clermont and it was meant to be a temporary arrangement until their name came up on the daycare that was closer to their house. Well, AEA was so great to them that they decided to come off the wait list and make AEA their permanent daycare, despite a much longer drive. Thank you for all you do! You are AMAZING!

I started my search for the perfect daycare over a year ago and no place was good enough. Finally I found this gem of a daycare. First they have cameras access for parents (a piece of mind that all mothers need), the majority of the daycares are moving out of cameras with no reason. The staff is amazing, Ms Lindsey and Ms Helen always very kind, professional and always available. Finally Ms Rosa and Ms Ana are amazing teachers, I struggled for months to potty train my son and Ms Rosa with all the pacience and sweetness was able to potty train my baby in 3 weeks!!! Im just thinking about all the mess and extrawork that process took, and she had no complain about it and always very positive. Think about doing that on top of taking care of all the other kids, and let me tell you, you can not find that kind of dedication nowhere else. I'm from Clermont and I drive all the way to Ocoee with no problem becuase I know he will be treated as an extension of myself. ----- Author: Brittany M. There is clear and Consistent communication - both digital and written. Everyone is cheerful and warm, no matter who they are on the staff. There’s always an activity or event happening at the school and the information is clearly available on the regular newsletters and parent board. Being able to see my child on camera whenever I want is a blessing. Our daughter has flourished here in less than a year and we would recommend AEA Ocoee/Windermere to anyone who asks. They provide daily updates on all the things the kids learned that day. My kids love going to school. They have never liked it before. I can check in with them with the app and cameras. I am so so happy I came to this program! ----- Author: Stephon McKinnon Rating: 1/5 Date: 9/20/2022, 1:47:21 PM Review: There’s only 2 good teachers here who have any kind of control over their classrooms. They seem to be the only 2 teachers here that actually care for their students. Ms Keisha ( & her mom Ms Vita before she left) & ms Yolanda are the best. They do everything possible to care for the kids, communicate with the parents & ensure that what’s being practiced/enforced at home is being carried out in class as well. The director & assistant director however, should not be working with kids. At no point do they take responsibility for their actions & put every blame on the child & family. Their idea of watching children is basically ignoring them (which I observed by watching the cameras throughout the day). Teachers rather than trying to calm down an upset child will call the directors in & I have seen one drag my child out by his arm to another class (to the teacher who actually cares). My 2 year old child left Ms Keisha’s class essentially fully potty trained. This was not enforced in the next class & rather than try to encourage bathroom use, they continued to put my son in pull ups & then blamed him for his “regression”. He does not have a problem using the bathroom in any other class or at home & is only in pull ups for overnight. Unfortunately we had to pull him out of this facility when they began spending more time documenting & complaining about his behavior rather than trying to help correct it. If a child is throwing something & you’re spending 5-10mins to take a picture & leave a note of it, they’re going to think it’s funny & continuously do it for the camera. They tried to have me sign an incident report for something & when I asked for one on how they handled my son physically they became defensive & began pointing fingers at which point they were alerted we wouldn’t return. Upon telling them this they began to ignore me as I was talking which is completely unprofessional. This was reciprocated by me with a few choice words. The director who is useless, & the owners of this facility have been contacted & are still refusing to take responsibility. Don’t be fooled by this pretty school. You will have the worst time here. Many parents & teachers have left after similar complaints.
