I have a 3.5-year-old who has been attending since she was 4 months old, and a 5-month-old currently in the infant room. The transition for both of them has been smooth, thanks to the dedicated, caring staff. The teachers are attentive, kind, and really seem to know each child personally, which gives us peace of mind as parents. The director, Christa, is a standout—always available to answer questions, address concerns, and ensure the center runs smoothly. One of the most convenient features is the advanced app they use, which allows us to check in on our children throughout the day. The app provides updates, photos, and even a direct line of communication with the caregivers, making it easier to stay involved in our kids' daily routines. Another big plus is the daycare's schedule. They’re open during most school holidays, which is incredibly helpful for working parents, with the exception of federal holidays, as expected. They also host fun events for families, creating a nice sense of community that fosters connections between parents and children. That said, there are some drawbacks to consider, which are the reasons for my imperfect star rating. Since the daycare is part of a corporate chain, it’s priced about 8-10% higher than other local centers, which can add up over time. The fees don't stop there, though. There’s a yearly $150 registration fee for existing families (per child), and we also face additional charges for supplies—$75 at the beginning and middle of the school year. While we understand some costs are unavoidable, it feels frustrating that these supplies aren’t included, especially when teachers, like in public schools, are still expected to purchase their own materials. The extra fees and ongoing costs can definitely feel like a bit much, especially considering the premium pricing. However, the quality of care and peace of mind knowing our children are in good hands helps offset some of these concerns. If you don’t mind the added costs and are looking for a reliable, caring daycare with a strong community vibe, this place is a solid choice. ----- Author: Yusleny Garcia Rating: 1/5 Date: 10/18/2024, 4:26:54 PM Review: My son has been here since he was an infant and he is now two. I have to clarify, I only stayed for as long as I did because of Ms Rommy, Ms Rosalim, Ms Linda, and Ms Miledy. He's had a hard time transitioning classrooms and every single time the director consistently does not follow their own protocols and my child is left to fend on his own until he adapts. On 9/10/24, we went to pick him early because I was alerted by NOT even his own teacher that he was not napping or eating. Upon arriving, we could hear an adult screaming from down the hallway. When we arrived to the door, teacher was aggressively screaming at my 2 year old and restraining his hands telling him to stop crying. Teacher proceeded to get argumentative stating "her classroom, her rules." This was addressed with the director but unfortunately, there was no further follow up and no conversation addressing ours concerns and what they could do to regain trust that my son would be in a safe and nurturing environment. If your child is a baby, this is a great option but once they reach toddler years, this daycare is not competent and director will ignore your concerns in hopes they go away. I have submitted a proper report with the directors boss and I am submitting this review now that my son is out of the daycare to avoid any retaliation. I'm aware that they will respond to this saying post with a generic "please stop by to further discuss" and I'd like to make it very clear that I have spoken to the director multiple times with no regard and unfortunately had to remove my son. ----- Author: Tinsleigh R Rating: 1/5 Date: 8/8/2024, 6:19:31 PM Review: To respond to the reply: my child is enrolled under my government name. I'm having a second child who would be a baby. I think the response to this is very telling and only confirms my decision to move elsewhere. Original review: They have the worst infant room I've ever seen, I'm not even sure how that's legally allowable. I was considering enrolling my baby but I couldn't stomach him in that room all day. My child has had a hard time at drop off since we enrolled and the teacher has been rolling her eyes at my child when we arrive. They throw away their art right in front of the kids. They don't care about building relationships with them. My child has never been to the STEAM room so that's a hoax. Your children will be safe here, but they won't thrive. She is in room #3 now and since she started in the infant room, Im glad she likes the teachers and has learned a lot since she started back in July 2023. The teachers care and love my baby, she’s 19 months and I have noticed that she’s learned a lot!! It was not easy to leave my baby at 3 months old. Plus baby is very hard to feed and they made sure to implement all accommodations needed. Love the Asturia location!

Christa and Coraliz had to deal with me and my mom anxiety from putting my kids in school and they were super reassuring, patient and kind with me. Now let’s talk about my kids’ teachers! They’re AMAZING!!! Ms. Bree, Ms. Maria, Ms. Stefania, and Ms. Kita are the most caring sweet nurturing teachers. I can tell my kids feel very safe with them and they’re super happy when I come to pick them up. I love seeing the activities they do throughout the day being updated consistently on the app and having camera access to their classroom is an added peace of mind. Honestly, I just love these teachers because nothing means more to me than when someone is kind and caring about my kids. The educational process is organized in such a way that all the little things of everyday life are taken into account. Children are happy to go to kindergarten, because there they will be met by their favorite teachers (I would especially like to highlight Miss Ameera), with whom it is easy and interesting for them. The group has a comfortable, warm atmosphere thanks to understanding and equality. You teach our children to be friends and respect each other, to create and fantasize, to appreciate the beautiful, to be honest, kind, caring. Our children are proud of their achievements, they are happy to show us their crafts, and they repeat with interest at home what they did in kindergarten. Step by step, under your sensitive guidance, children learn about the world around them, the joy of friendship, their personal capabilities. The group is clean and tidy, comfortable and cozy. We trust you completely, because it is very important for a parent to know that their child is in safe hands when they leave their child for almost the entire day. However, I’m so happy that we made the right decision. First the facility has camera accessibility which provides transparency, fun activities for the little ones, updates are provided on a daily basis, along with pictures of our little one , and you have access to message the teacher at anytime. Secondly, I cannot express how grateful I am for Ms. Rommy, Ms. Rosalim, and Ms. Gabby! The way they have loved my baby lets me know that I made the right decision. They are attentive, caring, compassionate, and go above and beyond their duties. Daughter is 3, joined when she was 1year and 10 months, and son 20 month old joined when he was 12 months old. So I know most of the teachers, and familiar with the curriculum and policys, and care in different classrooms very well. Taking to consideration that we also tried 2 different day cares in the area, I can definitely say that overall Amazing Explorers is the best! I love their curriculum, teachers, food, etc. I love that I can see my kids whenever I want, because they have cameras in every classroom. I had some concerns about lack of cleanliness and order in my son’s classroom, but it significantly improved when teachers changed. Ms Goutami, Ms Ankita, Ms Cassidy, Ms Jaikee, Ms Linda are the best! With their help kids are always happy, very smart and polite; Classrooms very clean; Process is very smooth and organised. I definitely recommend this daycare to parents who are not sure because of some bad reviews in the past. They celebrate all the holidays and try to have something fun for the kids to do weekly. I appreciate that they are always transparent, have cameras available and use an app to communicate. My 5 year olds literacy skills improved while in vpk and my 2 year knows how to count to count to 10, her colors and shapes. Both are kind and work very hard to prepare the kids for school while helping them meet their academic, social, and behavioral goals. My son is adjusting well and I love how many updates I get throughout the day with their app! Plus I can check in on the cameras at any time and see what’s happening in the classroom. They were able to get him in on short notice & the director Ms. LaToya is ALWAYS there and available to parents via phone or email as well. Lastly- it’s comparable in budget to his previous school which did not serve breakfast & did not have cameras! Highly recommend! Special shout out to Ms. LaToya, Ms. Cassandra & Mrs. Blake for all the love & patience with my baby everyday!!
