From the moment we walked in, we could tell this was a special place. Our son adores his teachers — they are incredibly attentive, nurturing, and truly care about each child’s development. The facility itself is beautiful, warm, and thoughtfully designed, creating the perfect space for little ones to explore and learn. We especially appreciate the Montessori-inspired curriculum — our 2-year-old has already learned so much in less than a year! It’s amazing to see his growth, curiosity, and love for learning blossom. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Alta Schoolhouse and feel so grateful to have found such a wonderful preschool. I’m thrilled to have found that at Alta Schoolhouse. The staff fosters a warm, welcoming environment, and my child has shown significant growth since joining. From learning to recognize letters and colors in Spanish to identifying his own name at just three years old, the academic focus is impressive. Daily updates and photos from the teachers highlight their genuine care and commitment to my child's development. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and sanitized, providing peace of mind. While we currently attend part-time, I truly wish we could take advantage of full-time care. My youngest of three is about to start at Alta. The administration and all of the teachers are extremely caring, attentive, and loving to all of the students. They’ve allowed me to feel comfortable taking my kids somewhere outside the home knowing they are safe, having fun, and learning so much! Updates are provided throughout the day, and they have many great events for parents to attend. My kids have loved the Montessori based education. The environment is incredibly clean and safe, which immediately put my mind at ease as a parent. The classrooms are well-organized and inviting, allowing the children to explore and learn in a nurturing atmosphere. The staff is caring and truly dedicated to the children's development, fostering independence and creativity. From the moment you walk in the Director herself welcomes every child by their name. I usually pick up our child and the one time my husband when to pick him up they ask for identification even though he had his door card. Which I thought it was amazing for security purposes. The teachers seem nurturing and caring. I love getting pictures through the app during the day of the activities he does. However, I do believe there’s room for improvement in terms of outdoor time. At this age, children are full of energy and curiosity, and I would love to see more time spent outside. It would be wonderful if they could enjoy lunch in the sunshine or have a dedicated hour of outdoor play each day instead of 30 minutes, or have a mud area where they could get dirty and continue to explore, a small garden where they could learn to garden or care for flowers which would amplify they independence. Fresh air, sunlight, & physical activity are so important for their growth, regulating their nervous system, and even reducing sickness (well-being), and I think it would be a great addition to an already amazing program. This is it. I have never encountered a better group of teachers. The facility is impeccably clean. The staff are kind and professional at all times. But most importantly my child LOVES this school. It has been an honor to watch her grow this year in ways I couldn’t imagine. This school fosters independence and nurtures theirs interests. From day one, we have felt truly welcome and at ease knowing he is safe, cared for, and learning in a thoughtful, child-centered environment. From the moment we walked through the doors of Altaschool house , we knew it was the perfect place for our daughter. The warmth and kindness of the teachers, the joyful atmosphere, and the genuine care they show for every child have truly made this school feel like a second home. Our daughter has blossomed in ways we never imagined—her confidence has grown, she’s made wonderful friends, and she comes home excited to share everything she’s learned. The curriculum is engaging, the activities are creative, and the love for learning that they foster is simply amazing. We are beyond grateful for the patience, dedication, and passion of the staff.
