"My two daughters have been growing up in this daycare center and it's been a wonderful experience. They have learned a lot about self-care and knowledge. The teachers are fantastic and have played a significant role in their development. I couldn't be happier with the progress my girls have made. Highly recommended!"
My 2 year old son started going here 3 months ago we love it. He was always home with us and nanny they where very good helping with his transition. So glad we got the him here.
My children have been attending Stars and Stripes for 3 years now and we can't rave enough about them. It is so refreshing to have a local place where our kids are not only learning at an elevated level but are taken care of as if they were immediate family. Thank you to the staff and mostly the Elliott family!
We love the teachers and staff here! They have done a fantastic job with both of our girls.
What kind of facility allows withholding milk or water from a baby as a disciplinary action? Awful. I would not trust the owner of this facility to adequately care for any of my children if this is suitable as punishment for a baby. And when this was brought to the attention of the owner, and their only response was "If you don't like it, take your child elsewhere", that is all you need to know about this place.
The state required ratio of child care providers to child is frequently not met, meaning your child will be placed with the rest of the school (occupancy of 56) in one room under the care of less than the required number of teachers. On multiple occasions my child had liquids withheld from them as a disciplinary measure because they knocked their cup off the table. The owner employs a number of her own family members, and fails to discipline them despite them lying directly to her face when questioned about scenarios which occurred. If your child has an allergy, they will not handle it seriously...my child was fed a food they are allergic to despite multiple conversations and providing ample 'safe' foods for them to consume. Random people stopping by to inquire about employment will be allowed to handle your child, with out any of the state mandated actions such as fingerprinting etc being completed. None of this will be the owners fault, and you'll be told to "look elsewhere" if you're not happy with the way they run things. Very unorganized, full of excuses when confronted about issues you're having, and an attitude as if they are exempt from abiding by state regulations for childcare providers.
Great school greatly recommended
my son wasn't scared to go to kindergarten because the people at stars and stripes made him confident that he could do anything they would throw at him. he's been going there for years and he will be in the after school program for years also. they are also really good at potty training.
