Author: gabbi dymond Rating: 5/5 Date: 3/5/2025, 2:42:02 PM Review: I previously had my 2 1/2 year-old at the learning experience in Windermere and he was there for six months. During his six months there he would always get dropped off crying, kicking and screaming, and didn’t want to go to school. He also was having issues there, which doesn’t measure up to how he acts at home. I figured maybe he didn’t feel comfortable there so I decided to switch him to Star Child at Windermere. Let me just say he is only week 2 being there and he is so happy to go to school. There’s no kicking or screaming during drop off just pure excitement to go play with his friends. Mrs Priscilla and Mrs Vanessa are so wonderful along side his toddler classroom teachers. Everyone is just so genuine and their communication is just out of this world. I really appreciate them and I plan on having him attend star child through their private elementary school as well. Also I would like to say that I really like their curriculum they are a great mix of learning but also fun. I also think they have better food options for the kids.

I absolutely love the school and the way it has warmly welcomed my daughter since she was just one year old. It’s incredible to see how she has developed all the skills appropriate for her age there. From socialization to other essential milestones, the school has been instrumental in her growth. I’m truly grateful for the dedication and care the staff provides every day. Thank you for creating such a nurturing and supportive environment for her!
Do not recommend this daycare at all! They do not pay attention to the children and let small toddlers go to the bathroom alone! Do not supervise them, do not help them get cleaned up, which is not acceptable for that young age. Also they do not handle at all whatever conflicts may arise between such small children, resulting in unnecessary scratches and bruises that could have been prevented by mediating and helping the children get along.
My daughter had the best VPK journey here because of the best teacher Ms. Rozi !!! I am very thankful to Ms. Rozi for her creative and engaging lessons that she had in her class. She inspired a passion for learning for my daughter. Thank you for making the school a second home.
My son went to VPK here and his teachers were Ms Tabitha, Mr Collins and Mr Turner. All three teachers were kind and understanding and my son loved them dearly. He just started 1st grade this year and the impact and positive memories that he was left with still have him asking to return a year later. I'd let him go back if we were closer because he did so well here and has been having a hard time adjusting to public school life.
Protect your child and don't take them here! We were referred to Starchild by a family friend and trusted all the great things we heard, but were skeptical from all the bad reviews but gave them a chance - one I regret! The reviews are years old but still true. Staff is rude and burnt out, billing is terrible, the team is not on the same page so operations and customer experience is inconsistent and workers are misinformed. This caused me several calls, emails, and visits over the same issue when it should have been addressed with just one phone call! Vanessa was rude, burnt out, and complacent. Pricilla was not genuine about my concerns and had an attitude. Ty (billing) has no idea how to do his job because it took over a month to straighten out a billing issue we addressed before it happened! Most importantly, Ms. Isabellita should not be in childcare. She is not compassionate, she is impatient, burnt out and does not like her job and it shows in her classrooms. Everyday we dropped off our child the entire class was crying - not one kid felt safe in there! We took him out after one week of hell and he came back home with terrible coping habits he never used to have. He came back hitting, biting, and scratching when he needed to be heard. DONT DO IT! Go somewhere else.
