The people are amazing, from the Director to every staff member we've encountered. They are organized and on top of all the requirements needed to keep kids safe, happy, and well fed (the key to a happy toddler, am I right?). Our two kids settled in quickly to their classrooms (ages 1 and 3) and they love the playground, not to mention "water fridays". The facilities are kept very clean and they are almost brand new. Once again, can't say enough good things....thank you to everyone at St. John the Divine ELC!

It makes you feel like home, so your kids feel like they don’t miss a beat when they are away from the home. ----- Author: Allison Phillips Rating: 1/5 Date: 8/31/2022, 10:51:51 PM Review: So incredibly disappointed in this school. This is in reference to Early Learning Center. My 4 year old son started there in early spring this year and I have had several concerns and multiple issues. Over a period of 6 months, I got zero - and I mean zero - comments or communication from a teacher. In fact, for the majority of the time he was there, he didn’t have a teacher. He had two 19-20 year old college kids babysitting all day. They did no “work” - nothing but playing all day. Zero education at all. No structure. No pictures of his day, no notes home, nothing. Just glorified babysitting. Then my son was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and they refused to accept a RELIGIOUS exemption for vaccines while I waited to see the doctor to get a medical exemption. Most pre-k programs have to accept an exemption by state law - but they don’t because THEY HAVE A RELIGIOUS EXEMPTION. So they are hypocrites - their religious exemption trumps my sons religious exemption. They have no problem hiding behind their religious protections but don’t respect the religious protections of others. They even had the audacity to tell me that they don’t have to accept a medical exemption if they don’t want too. So these “Christians” have no problems discriminating against CHILDREN with health problems AND CHILDREN and families that have a different religion or different beliefs. They made me feel like my son was some kind of Leper - ostracized due to something completely out of control. He misses his friends and I still haven’t figured out a way to explain to him that because he has a rare autoimmune disorder they some people don’t accept him. Incredibly disappointed that these people are representatives of Christ.

Biggest blessing to our family as we made a big out of state move! We enrolled our kids, 1 and 3 at the time, and St. John the Divine Early Learning Center has been the most welcoming, caring, and nurturing place for our kids and our family. The staff embraces each child individually to give them what they need while teaching them to build relationships with their classmates and be a part of a community. The school is beautifully equipped and maintained, which facilitates so much growth for our kids. The thoughtful lessons and projects are a real delight to see and hear about from the kids. Transitions are hard and they were right there with us helping both of our kids feel comfortable and set up for success in their classrooms. Beyond grateful and cannot wait for the years to come at St. John the Divine ELC! Thank you, thank you to the amazing staff for all they do every day.

This school continues to be an answered prayer for us and our 2 children! We joined the SJTD ELC family in August of 2021 and are so thankful we found this school! The staff and teachers truly care about the children, the environment is warm and nurturing, the meals are nutritious and made with love. The facilities are nice, new, and always clean, and we truly believe the teachers and staff love our kids and have their best interests at heart. The only downside is they cannot stay here until they go to college as they will age out after VPK :) Thank you to everyone at SJTD ELC for loving our family like you do!
