For the past three years, I have been the Director of Nursing at sparks pediatric medical daycare, which has been a tremendously rewarding and life-changing experience. I've had the chance to oversee a committed group of experts in this position while making sure that kids with special needs get the best care possible in a supportive setting. The opportunity to significantly influence not only the lives of the children and their families but also the professional development of the nursing staff is one of the most fulfilling parts of this job. I've had the honor of counseling gifted nurses, encouraging their career development, and establishing a compassionate and cooperative atmosphere. The challenges of this position have forced me to develop as a leader. It takes flexibility and excellent organizational abilities to strike a balance between administrative duties, such as upholding adherence to healthcare rules, and continuing to provide direct patient care. every effort is rewarded when you see the children's progress and their families' happiness. The sense of purpose this work provides is what I cherish most. I get to use evidence-based methods, advocate for marginalized groups, and develop policies that put safety and comprehensive care first every day. My connections with employees, families, and the kids themselves serve as a continual reminder of my motivation for choosing this line of work. Being a director of nursing at a medical daycare is a demanding and incredibly fulfilling career option for anyone hoping to advance in pediatric healthcare leadership. Some of the most fulfilling years of my career have been these three, and I'm eager to keep developing and contributing in this position. Each and every child that I have worked with will always hold a special place in my heart!

The experience of working at a pediatric medical daycare has been tremendously rewarding. My son attended this PPEC for a little over a year and we had nothing less than an amazing experience. The nurses and staff show so much love towards the kids. My son loved each and every one of the staff and looked forward to seeing them every single day. The therapists were also amazing with him. I definitely felt extremely safe and comfortable leaving my son here during the day while I was at work!
