Small World Montessori has been a great experience for my daughter. From the teachers and staff to the food that they serve, everything has been amazing! I love the friendships she has built and the environment she is in. I couldn’t have chosen a better school for my baby girl.

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Small World Montessori Miramar and cannot recommend this school to other parents. Communication was a consistent problem from the beginning. Despite notifying the school multiple times about specific matters concerning our son, they repeatedly asked us the same questions, showing a clear lack of organization and attention. There was also a troubling lack of transparency. Teachers were changing without any formal communication to parents, leaving us in the dark about who was caring for our child. Additionally, our son was neglected on multiple occasions. From diapers so wet that he his carseat was soaked in urine, multiple times his diapers were backwards, and one time he came home with his body covered in red rashes. He was often left playing outside in extreme heat with no water in his water bottle. This lack of basic care is completely unacceptable. Our son was frequently sick, and it became evident that the school is not clean enough to maintain a healthy environment for children. Since I enrolled him till his last day there was a bunch of carton boxes in the hallway, I wouldn't be surprised if they are still there. Another major issue is the school’s schedule. They have a teacher planning day every month, meaning the school is closed for the day. If you’re a working parent or don’t have a strong support network, this can be a serious challenge. While this information is in the contract, it was not made clear to us during the initial visit—it only came to light after we enrolled our son. Given all these problems, we decided to cancel our contract with the school and gave them plenty of notice. However, they refused to refund our deposit money, even though we were withdrawing for valid reasons related to their lack of care and professionalism. They didn't even answered our e-mail, we had to call several times to finally understand that money was gone... Parents, beware—this school failed us in every way, from poor communication to neglecting our child and refusing to return our money. For them at the end of the day, its just about the money.

Small World Montessori is easily one of the best schools for young children in the South Florida. I have a 5 year old boy, a 2 year old boy and a 1 year old girl and they all attend the school. My children go to school everyday excited about learning new lessons and mastering those that they have been practicing. We have been part of the Small World family for years and all of the teachers are amazing; they are thoughtful, kind and caring. The teachers understand that each child is an individual and has different needs. They work around these needs and do what's best to help the child learn. We've fallen in love with all of the teachers at Small World because of the special way they care for our children and ensure a safe and healthy environment for them. Our eldest is learning to read, add, subtract, do multiplication and division. My two year old knows his continents, is counting and learning alphabet sounds. Our baby girl is learning to explore the world. The education the children receive is second to none and the attention that each child and family receives is also unmatched. The teachers and administration are extremely knowledgeable about children's behaviors and needs and are always striving to help spread this knowledge to the parents as well. We ar so thankful to the teachers and administration of Small World for all they do.

My experience with this school has been nothing but amazing from the start. The comfort they have provided to me is something that doesn't have a price. The love and nurture they provide to my son and how attentive and informative. I'm so grateful with this staff, from the moment we open the door the administrative they greet him and acknowledge, the teachers are so loving and their lesson plan on the daily have seen the change on my son since he started their. Everyone of their staff is amazing and it really is a relieve to leave your son with trusted hands and know he is being well taken care of .

We had a horrible, very sad and traumatic experience with this institution. Our son fell and had a fracture in his little head at 9 months of age and they lied to me trying to make me feel guilty, saying that my son slipped walking. When what really happened was that my son fell from a table (on which he got on his own); and from up there he fell. 3 adults were present and none of them saw how my son got on that table on his own. I found out that my son had a fracture in his head, when I took him to the pediatrician for a check-up; where he was sent to the emergency room immediately. Thank God my son didn't have any sequels. That institution wanted to cover up its mistake by offering us money, which we obviously do NOT accept. We filed a lawsuit with this institution and justice was done because we won the case. I hope the same thing doesn't happen to other children again. ———-////———— ESPAÑOL Tuvimos una experiencia horrible, muy triste y traumática con esta institución. Nuestro hijo se cayo y tuvo una fractura en su cabecita a los 9 meses de edad y me mintieron tratando de hacerme sentir culpable, diciendo que mi hijo se resbaló caminando. Cuando realmente lo que ocurrió fue que mi hijo se cayo desde una mesa (en la cual el solito se subió); y desde ahí arriba se cayo. Estaban presentes 3 adultos y ninguno de ellos vio cómo mi hijo se subía a esa mesa por si solito. Me enteré que mi hijo tenía una fractura en la cabeza, cuando lo lleve al pediatra por un chequeo ; donde lo mandaron a urgencias de inmediato. Gracias a Dios mi hijo no tuvo ninguna secuela. Esa institución quizo tapar su error ofreciéndonos dinero, el cual obviamente NO aceptamos. Le hicimos una demanda a esta institución y se hizo justicia porque ganamos el Caso. Espero no vuelvan a ocurrir eso mismo con otros niños.

SWM has been a wonderful place for our children to begin their academic journey. The school offers a great curriculum and flexible schedules that accommodate us as working parents. We appreciate the variety of family activities, the emphasis on healthy habits and food options, and the great community we've encountered. Highly recommended for families looking for a supportive and enriching educational environment!

We are very happy we found this school. We have been enrolled for over two years now and had the pleasure to work with the toddler and primary teachers. We can’t recommend this school highly enough, everyone is very dedicated and supportive to have our kids thrive in the Montessori environment. The communication with the administration has been very good , so has it been with the teachers. We get weekly updates with pictures of our kids, which is a huge plus for us!

My family and I are very pleased that we found this school. Since my son has been attending for almost three years, I can only speak well of the administration, teachers, and staff. They are all outstanding! Both my son and his teachers share a profound respect for one another. The team is incredibly kind and excellent at interacting with each child on their own individual level. I highly recommend Small World Montessori School of Miramar.

My daughter started Small World when she was two years old. coming from another state and transitioning to a new environment was our biggest concern at the time. I will forever be grateful to Ms. Souza (Pacific Classroom) for her understanding, dedication, attention and most important for her loving and caring personality towards my daughter during her transition time. Ms. Souza and all her assistants helped my girl so much and every day that I would pick her up she always had a smile, very happy, and I knew this was the right place to be. Is still this day that my daughter is almost 4 that every time she sees Ms. Souza, she always run towards her to hug her and give her a kiss. Also, all the helped I got to potty train my daughter was awesome ! My daughter transition to primary and the experience so far have been great. First week I received a folder of all her lesson and was so amaze that she was starting to write her name that I took pictures of every paper she did. She is learning so much and I can see that every day. She knows about plants, dinosaurs, eclipse, counts in English, Spanish and Italian. Ms. Dina, Ms. Gomez and all the teachers in the Mediterranean classroom are doing a great job with Ariana. Of course, no place in the world is perfect and there is always ways to improve BUT I know for sure she is learning, exploring new things and most importantly be taken care off.
