Author: Oscar Currie Rating: 5/5 Date: 7/8/2024, 5:39:14 PM Review: My experience with Renaissance Preschool was fantastic. The facility is bright, clean, and tech-free. The playground is wide and designed to emphasize creativity. The curriculum is highly recommended by the state of Florida, and Miss Sara, Miss Moriah, and Miss Aliana are three of the kindest, most hardworking teachers I have ever had the privilege of interacting with. Safety is a top priority for this school— the curriculum emphasizes keeping bodies safe, as well as values of kindness, diligence, and honesty. Children have access to a wide variety of learning opportunities, and play-based learning is a common activity. Children learn self-reliance and mindfulness by doing what they can for themselves, but teachers are always ready to encourage and, if necessary, insist in any goal the child has. This is an amazing place to work, and I give it a gold star for excellence in education!

We are so happy at Renaissance Preschool! Our 3 year old is developing her social skills, picking up great habits, and learning more every day. Her teacher, Ms Aliana, and all the staff, have created a caring and nurturing environment for our kids. We also love working with the director, Ms Sara - who keeps everything very organized, and does a great job communicating with families. I cannot recommend this school enough!

I've known the director for over 7 years now. & She's Amazing!!! So is the rest of the staff. The facility is clean and colorful.....lots of pictures, drawings and I love that they have an open door policy you can show up or call and check on your child at any time. My daughters are now 7and 8 and they attended Renaissance from ages 2-5! My sons are now 1and 4 and also now attend Renaissance. I feel my kids are happy here and they are safe. They also have a nice learning curriculum.
Truly a wonderful school!! My little loves it here & loves his teachers so much more. He’s been here about 6 1/2 months, his learning is out of this world. He was counting to 20 before the age of two & learned his abcs before 20 months !!! If you’re a scared first time mom like I was this is your sign I 100/10 recommend checking the renaissance team out!❤️
My son has been attending this school since he was 1 years old. Up until now (he is 5 years old) I have been having multiple problems with staff and a couple of the students. My child has come home on numerous occasions stating someone hit him or bit him. I would pick him up to sign an incident report almost every single day. My child has been redirected by myself to inform the teachers when he is having an issue with someone. Teacher constantly disregards him and tells him to stop being a “taddle teller.” I’ve sent out multiple emails to the director Sara Snow regarding each incident. Sara always tires to flip the story around she doesn’t let you express your concerns without her over talking you and raising her voice. It’s gotten to the point my son now has a hematoma on his forehead due to a child kicking him on the playground. It shouldn’t have gotten to this point if teachers would have intervened prior. No one called to notify me of the incident. When asked why a phone call wasn’t there placed, Sara had no idea. Told me she would follow up with Gretchen. I requested a call from the Gretchen (who is responsible for his classroom) she mentioned to me that due to parents high demanding jobs, they don’t like to call parents & they handle things “in house”. My son will be starting kindergarten this fall, teachers there will not be handling things “in house”. They will pick up the phone and call me & it doesn’t have to be if my son is having a conflict with another student, but simply if my son is having a hard time being redirecting. Lastly, lunch is not provided here. It was previously, but due to them not having enough students attending they couldn’t provide lunch any longer and was cut off the lunch program (what I was told by Sara). Which now parents are responsible for providing lunches for the kids. I’m already paying “tuition” on a weekly basis and now want me to pay out of pocket for lunch as well? Yet alone, teachers aren’t monitoring the students properly. What am I paying for? I do not recommend this school to anyone. Take your money elsewhere, where your child will be loved and attended to no matter what. By the way Sara, it has nothing to do with a financial aspect. That was already taken care of and your facility was paid in full. You were very dismissive when I first brought my concerns about payment to your attention. In addition, you should hire more staff maybe that'll take the load off your back.
Amazing pre school - just ask my graduating highschooler who, before he heads off to college asked if he could go back and say good bye to Miss Sara and Miss Tara … 13 + years later and he still has happy memories of this amazing pre school ( and thanks for giving him such a precious ‘welcome back!’ such fun!!!! )
This is the second year that my son has gone there and everyone it is very nice to him. He loves going to this daycare. Miss Rhonda is a great teacher and human. The other teachers as well are great people. You can tell they love what they do and are passionate about. They always have fun learning numbers, letters, and doing projects all the time.
Teachers are well adaptive and caring
Two of my kids attend here. Best daycare! My kids adjusted quick and they love it here. Everyone is very friendly and caring. I seriously wish I would have taken my kids there sooner!
